Anemia is a blood abnormality that affects the quantity and quality of red blood cells in the human body. This sometimes banal sign spares no continent and no social stratum. This anomaly is generally appreciated thro...Anemia is a blood abnormality that affects the quantity and quality of red blood cells in the human body. This sometimes banal sign spares no continent and no social stratum. This anomaly is generally appreciated through biological analyzes of patients</span><span style="font-family:Verdana;">’</span><span style="font-family:Verdana;"> blood. These analyzes, which boil down to the knowledge of hemato-metric constants, cannot by themselves allow the characterization of certain forms of anemia in the sense that most anemia are related to the morphology and color of red blood cells. Our work in this paper is to perform blood smears on patients and perform a morphological and colorimetric analysis of red blood cells on these smears. This approach allowed us to highlight on each erythrocyte morphological and colorimetric descriptors to accurately identify the types of anemia by image processing methods. This identification is performed in an automated environment to allow pathologists to respond quickly to anemia-related emergencies and also improve the treatment to be conducted. This automation required the implementation of a new approach to electronic instrumentation and the acquisition of microscopic blood smear images for the automatic and rapid diagnosis of anemia.展开更多
Extensive accumulation of neurofibrillary tangles(NFTs)consistently correlate with the degree of cognitive impairment and neuronal circuitry deterioration associated with Alzheimer's disease.However,no PET probe i...Extensive accumulation of neurofibrillary tangles(NFTs)consistently correlate with the degree of cognitive impairment and neuronal circuitry deterioration associated with Alzheimer's disease.However,no PET probe is currently available for selective detection of NFTs in the living human brain.[^(18)F]-THK523 was developed as a potential in vivo imaging probe for tau pathology.In this paper,we report a new protected precursor,2-((2-(4-((tert-butoxycarbonyl)amino)phenyl)quinolin-6-yl)oxy)ethyl 4-methylbenzenesulfonate(THK-7),instead of2-((2-(4-aminophenyl)quinolin-6-yl)oxy)ethyl 4-methylbenzenesulfonate(BF241),and an improved automated radiosynfhesis of[^(18)F]-THK523 and the study on chemical kinetics of the labeling reaction of[^(18)F]-THK523,with high-yield(70±5%,n=6,decay-corrected to end of bombardment),and high radiochemical purity(>90%)and specific activity(2.5±0.5Ci/umol)from protected precursor on fully automated module at the end of radiosynthesis(45-55 min).The chemical kinetics for[^(18)F]-THK523 demonstrates that nucleophilic substitution can be carried out easily with protected precursor.展开更多

The conditions, existing problems, relevant solutions and policies are summarized chronologically in aspects of centralized control, automatic regulation and controllability of main and auxiliary units, turbine control system, furnace security protection, and computer application in thermal power plants. This...As a facility used for astronomical research, the Lijiang 2.4-m telescope of Yunnan Astronomical Observatories, requires the ability to change one auxiliary instrument with another in as short a time as possible. This arises from the need to quickly respond to scientific programs (e.g. transient observation, time domain studies) and changes in observation conditions (e.g. seeing and weather conditions). In this paper, we describe the design, construction and test of hardware and software in the rapid instrument exchange system (RIES) for the Cassegrain focal station of this telescope, which enables instruments to be quickly changed at night without much loss of observing time. Tests in the laboratory and at the telescope show that the image quality and pointing accuracy of RIES are satisfactory. With RIES, we observed the same Landolt standard stars almost at the same time with the Princeton Instruments VersArray 1300B Camera (PICCD) and the Yunnan Faint Object Spectrograph and Camera (YFOSC), while both were mounted at the Cassegrain focus. A quasi-simultaneous comparison shows that the image quality of the optical system inside the YFOSC is comparable with that provided by the PICCD.展开更多
