Objective:This study designs and implements the health prescription of children’s health education specialized nursing clinic based on the physical and mental characteristics of children with Tourette’s syndrome.Met...Objective:This study designs and implements the health prescription of children’s health education specialized nursing clinic based on the physical and mental characteristics of children with Tourette’s syndrome.Methods:Applying the evidence-based nursing model and nursing intervention theory based on the survey research by searching China Knowledge Network,Wanfang Database and Wipro Chinese Science and Technology Journal Database,the study collected the literature on the health prescription intervention research in children’s Tourette’s disorders health education in children’s health education of specialized nursing outpatient clinic for review and combined with the specialty characteristics to formulate“Children’s Tourette’s Disorder Health Education Prescription.”Results:Tourette’s syndrome in children is a common pediatric neurological disorder,mainly manifested as involuntary,rapid and repeated muscle twitching and vocal tics,which brings serious psychological pressure and life disturbance to the affected children.Conclusion:For children with Tourette’s syndrome,healthcare professionals should give enough care and understanding to the children and their parents,provide timely and effective health education to them,help them improve their bad behavioral habits,establish correct cognitive attitudes,enhance self-confidence,improve patient compliance,reduce the frequency of recurrence,reduce the incidence of complications and promote children’s physical and mental health development.展开更多
Antiviral Oral Liquid(AOL)is an adult medicine in the Chinese Pharmacopoeia used to treat upper respiratory infections such as influenza.It has shown promising clinical efficacy in relieving flu-like symptoms such as ...Antiviral Oral Liquid(AOL)is an adult medicine in the Chinese Pharmacopoeia used to treat upper respiratory infections such as influenza.It has shown promising clinical efficacy in relieving flu-like symptoms such as fever,inflammation,and pharyngalgia both in adults and children.However,the instruction manual does not specify the exact usage and dosage of AOL for children.In this article,we set 6 dosage ranges:0.2,0.5,0.7,0.9,1.1,1.4 mL/kg/d,according to its dosage for adults and the conversion method between adult and children dosage.And six animal models were used to evaluate the effectiveness of AOL in different doses.The results indicated that AOL could reduce the lung index,virus load,and expression of proinflammatory cytokines in the lung.AOL could improve pathological changes and prolong the survival time of mice infected by the Influenza A virus(H1N1)A/PR/8/34 strains at 0.5–0.9 mL/kg/d concentrations in different degrees.The four dose groups of 0.7–1.4 mL/kg/d could significantly inhibit the ear shell swelling caused by xylene and reduce the rabbit body temperature induced by lipopolysaccharide(P<0.01,P<0.05).All the five dosage groups of 0.2–1.1 mL/kg/d could inhibit the increase of peritoneal capillary permeability induced by glacial acetic acid(P<0.01).AOL at 0.7 and 0.9 mL/kg/d reduced the painful writhing times in young mice induced by glacial acetic(P<0.01).These results indicated that the optimal dose of AOL in antiviral,antipyretic,anti-inflammatory,and analgesic effects is 0.7 mL/kg/d.展开更多
To evaluate the clinical significance of Baumann’s angle in the closed reduction and percutaneous pinning fixation for supracondylar fractures of the humerus in children.Methods There were 97 children (male 59,female...To evaluate the clinical significance of Baumann’s angle in the closed reduction and percutaneous pinning fixation for supracondylar fractures of the humerus in children.Methods There were 97 children (male 59,female 38,mean age of 6.8 years) with displaced supracondylar fracrtures of the humerus were treated in this hospital.Under fluoroscopy guidance,three-dimensional displacement of fractures was corrected by closed reduction.The percutaneous Kirschner wire pinning was applied only if the radiographs demonstrated that Baumann’s angle was less than 4 degree compared to that on the normal side.All of them were followed up for 34.5 months (range,12 to 48 months).Results There was one case with ulnar nerve palsy associated with the pinning.There were no Volkmann’s contracture in this group.X-ray examinations revealed an average 73.7 degrees of Baumann angle on the injured and 72.8 on uninjured side.An average 7.6 degrees of the carrying angle on the injured and 9.7 on uninjured side were also demonstrated by radiography.Five patients developed slight cubitus varus deformity.The result according to Flynn criteria were excellent in 85 patients (87.6%),good in 12 patients (12.4%).Conclusion The satisfactory results can be gained in children with displaced supracondylar fractures of the humerus by restoration of the normal Baumann angle and percutaneous pinning fixation.18 refs,2 figs.展开更多
OBJECTIVE:To develop Clinical practice s of Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM) for acute upper respiratory tract infection(AURI) in children;TCM is usedalone or administered together with antibiotics.METHODS:Under the ...OBJECTIVE:To develop Clinical practice s of Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM) for acute upper respiratory tract infection(AURI) in children;TCM is usedalone or administered together with antibiotics.METHODS:Under the guidance of evidence-based medicine concept,in strict accordance with the rules of international s development,as well as on the basis of evidence of clinical research of TCM,the s solicited opinions from clinical experts and methodologists in TCM and Western Medicine.GRADE standard was applied to form experts' consensus.RESULTS:The s standardized classification of TCM patterns and TCM treatments in children with AURI,including prescription,Chinese patent medicine,non-drug treatment and prevention.CONCLUSION:Follows the principle of "evidence based,consensus supplemented,and experience referred",these s were formulated,but the quality of evidence of included studies were relatively low.Further refinement of the s should be needed as deeper clinical studies as available in future.展开更多
