Exploration of the Integration of Curriculum Ideology and Politics into the Educational Pathway of Standardized Training for General Practice Residents

In recent years,the national higher education reform has proposed the concept of curriculum ideological and political education as a major element.This integration into the standardized training of general practice residents(commonly referred to as general resident training)is an unavoidable trend in the teaching field.Based on the actual situation of our unit at The First Affiliated Hospital of Xi’an Medical University,this paper emphasizes the necessity of incorporating ideological and political education into the general resident training curriculum,despite the absence of pertinent practical experience in how to effectively incorporate such courses into comprehensive residential training.In our hospital,we must assess the ideological and political education in the curriculum of general resident training,proposing a scientific,reasonable ideological and political education concept system for general practice courses,integrating ideological and political education with general practice resident training,and strengthening the team of ideological and political education physicians to teach them to carry out such education,this would foster enthusiasm and initiative.Strengthening admission education and training for general practice resident training,as well as regularly hosting symposiums to share ideas and understand the mission of doctors can provide effective experience for ideological and political education in general resident training courses.

Effect of a Nutrition Education Intervention on Food Safety Knowledge, Attitudes and Practices of Mothers of Children under 5 Years in the Peri-Urban Areas of Bobo-Dioulasso: Before and after Study

Background: This study assessed the effect of a nutrition education intervention. This intervention aimed to improve the knowledge, attitudes, and practices of mothers on food safety in the peri-urban areas of Bobo-Dioulasso in Burkina Faso. Methods: A total of 243 mothers of children under 5 years in the peri-urban of Bobo-Dioulasso were administered the FAO questionnaire for food safety knowledge, attitudes, and practices assessment during two cross-sectional surveys, before and after the intervention, in January and October 2017. The intervention included two components consisting of a theoretical phase (counselling and discussion) and cooking demonstrations implemented for ten months. To account for the before-and-after design of the study, the McNemar’s test was used to assess the effect of the intervention on food safety KAP of mothers of children under 5 years. Results: The mean age of mothers was 29 ± 6.2 years and 50.6% of them were between 20 and 29 years old. One for knowledge (cooking thoroughly with, p-value = 0.0001) and another for attitudes (perceived benefits of reheating leftovers before eating them, p-value = 0.0001), significantly increased after the intervention. In terms of food safety practices, all the indicators (cleaning of dirty surfaces, plates and utensils and storage of perishable foods) significantly increased (all p = 0.0001 Conclusion: This study provided some evidence of an effective nutrition education intervention for improving maternal KAP on food safety for their child’s feeding.

Effects of Health Education with Problem-Based Learning Approaches on the Knowledge, Attitude, Practice and Coping Skills of Women with High-Risk Pregnancies in Plateau Areas

Objective: Given the unique cultural background, way of life, and physical environment of the Tibetan Plateau, this study aims to investigate the effects of health education using problem-based learning (PBL) approaches on the knowledge, attitude, practice, and coping skills of women with high-risk pregnancies in this region. Methods: 76 high-risk pregnancy cases were enrolled at Tibet’s Linzhi People’s Hospital between September 2023 and April 2024. 30 patients admitted between September 2023 and December 2023 were selected as the control group and were performed with regular patient education. 46 patients admitted between January 2024 and April 2024 were selected as the observation group and were performed regular patient education with problem-based learning approaches. Two groups’ performance on their health knowledge, attitude, practice and coping skills before and after interventions were evaluated, and patient satisfaction were measured at the end of the study. Results: There was no statistical significance (P P P Conclusions: Health education with problem-based learning approaches is worth promoting as it can help high-risk pregnant women in plateau areas develop better health knowledge, attitude and practice and healthier coping skills. Also, it can improve patient sanctification.

History Teacher Training from Decolonial Curriculum Practices to Combat Racism at UniProjeção in the Federal District-A Secondary Publication

This article aims to understand the training process of history undergraduates,to see if there are decolonial curricular practices to combat racism at the Centro Universitário e Faculdade Projeção(UniProjeção)in the Federal District,to understand how coloniality has corroborated the exclusion of different epistemologies and the erasure of different cultures,and how this exclusionary process of coloniality interferes in the training of history teachers.In order to combat this practice,we are looking for alternatives that can break these suppressions carried out by Europeans.In this way,we turn to decolonial ideas that aim to break with the logic of coloniality.We can conclude that these practices are poorly developed in the institution,so we proposed active problem-based methodology and music as a didactic resource.As playful educational tools that strengthen the teaching-learning process,they are active agents in the decolonial work of combating racism,and it is essential to train responsible and ethical teachers in the fight against racism and any form of oppression.

Reform of Hospitality English Teaching Based on the Educational Concept of Outcome-Based Education(OBE)

The Outcome-Based Education(OBE)educational concept,proposed by renowned American educator Spady,aims to guide students in mastering learning laws and ultimately achieving expected learning outcomes.The application of OBE educational concept in Hospitality English curriculum not only can effectively enhance the learning effect but also promote the reform of the Hospitality English curriculum,thus improving students’learning enthusiasm.Therefore,taking the Hospitality English curriculum as an example,this paper points out the existing problems in the teaching of this course and suggests the reform measures based on the OBE teaching concept,hoping to provide guidelines for related educational work.

Practice and Exploration of Ideological and Political Education for Postgraduate Students Under the Mentor Responsibility System

This study aims to address the problems existing in the ideological and political education of postgraduate students,and combines the implementation of the mentor responsibility system to explore the role orientation,work content,and practical effects of mentors in the ideological and political education of postgraduate students.Through questionnaire surveys,interviews,and other research methods,the current situation of ideological and political education of postgraduate students under the mentor responsibility system is analyzed,and corresponding optimization strategies are proposed.

Exploration of Practice Teaching Reform Based on Outcome-Based Education Concept:Taking Environmental Design Major as an Example

The concept of OBE(outcome-based education)is more focused on designing and implementing teaching activities around expected learning outcomes than the traditional teaching model and enhancing the quality of education through clear and measurable learning outcomes,which has led to profound changes in the field of education.However,environmental design practice teaching faces a series of challenges in the implementation of the OBE concept,including the complexity of the assessment system,personalized learning and creative learning,and over-reliance on quantitative assessment.Therefore,in order to further deepen the professionalization of the OBE concept,we have conducted research on the design education practice models at home and abroad,explored the practice teaching models and their applications such as project system,studio model,practical internships,and technology-driven interdisciplinary integration,and took the practice innovative teaching models of Stanford d.school and Rhode Island School of Design(RISD)as examples to explore the characteristics of the curricula,cultivation modes,and the development of the environmental design professional practice teaching model.The characteristics of OBE and RISD are discussed to provide a global vision and local contextual reference for the practice teaching reform of environmental design majors.

Construction of a Virtual Simulation Practice Teaching System of the Chemical Industry Under the Background of Integration of Production and Education

With the development of the integration of production and education,chemical engineering and technology education is facing many new challenges and opportunities.The construction of a chemical virtual simulation practice teaching system under the background of integration of production and education aims to improve students’learning efficiency and innovation ability with the help of virtual simulation technology,so as to meet the needs of future industrial development.This paper discusses the significance of the construction of the system,analyzes the difficulties and challenges that may be encountered in the construction process,and evaluates the effective strategies to strengthen the construction of the system.Through the introduction of virtual simulation technology,students can improve their practical skills and innovation ability,and better adapt to the development needs of industrialization and informatization.

Improving ICU Nurses’ Practices of Physical Restraints in Jordan: Effect of an Educational Program

Background: Physical Restraint (PR) has been widely used in the intensive care units, which aims to protect patients and maintain their safety. With all benefits of PR, there are many complications and risks from improper utilization. Further, no Jordanian studies have found to educate nurses regarding the proper PR utilization. Purpose: To evaluate the impact of an educational program on nurses’ knowledge, attitude and practice regarding PR use in ICUs. Methods: A pre-experiment with one-group pretest-posttest design was used among 40 ICU nurses. A self-administered questionnaire was used to evaluate nurses before the education program and two weeks after its completion. Results: After implementation of the program, nurses demonstrated a significant difference in knowledge scores between pretest (M = 10.35 ± 1.73) and posttest (M = 13.30 ± 1.47) (t = 9.92;df = 39;P = 0.000), attitudes scores (M = 27.90 ± 2.79 vs. M = 30.40 ± 2.32) (t = 4.61;df = 39;P = 0.000), and practice scores (M = 36.85 ± 1.98 vs. M = 40.52 ± 1.60) (t = 11.59;df = 39;P = 0.000). Conclusion: Service-education program can improve ICU nurses’ knowledge, and enhance their attitudes and practices towards physical restraint. Such improvement is expected to be reflected in improving the quality of care delivered to the patients, and decreasing complications of malpractice regarding physical restraint.

A Study of Innovative Education Practice Model to Strengthen the Training of Educational and Teaching Ability for Normal-school Students

Educational practice is far from being paid enough attention to in normal colleges and universities in China, and it has become aweak link in normal education. This problem is mainly manifested in the following aspects: the concept and content of educationalpractice lag behind the educational reform;the time of educational practice is too short;and the practice base is lacking. Therefore,innovative education practice mode is extremely important. In this paper, the problems existing in the educational practice ofnormal universities in China were analyzed, and the main countermeasures for the reform of the educational practice model ofnormal universities were put forward.

Educational Innovation in Lying Flat Phenomenon-A Case Study of the Balinese Teaching Experience

Lying flat(Tang Ping)is a prevalent way of life in contemporary countries throughout the world.It is an avoidance behavior chosen by individuals in response to limited social resources and ongoing harsh social competition.Previous studies have demonstrated that the phenomena of“lying flat”has a major negative effect on student learning.In order to investigate the impact of educational innovation on the phenomenon of“lying flat”,we will observe students’learning behaviors under the traditional education model and innovative teaching methods in our Bali teaching practice to determine the causes of“lying flat”and the means to improve educational innovation.The study found that“lying flat”is caused not just by students’discontent with their level difference,but also by the conflict between external resources and internal pressure.In addition,educational reforms on three levels,including further stratified education,strengthening teacher education and promoting effective communication between students and teachers,and employing online resources to promote students’interest in learning,can ameliorate the phenomenon of pupils“lying flat”.This study contends that educational innovation can have a positive effect on the phenomena of“lying flat”.

Knowledge, Attitudes, and Practice of Patient Teaching among Nurses in Primary Health Care, United Arab Emirates

Patient education is defined as the process of influencing a patient’s behavior and helping them make the necessary changes to their knowledge, attitudes, and skills to maintain or improve their health. It is a crucial part of patient care, and the EHS ambulatory care healthcare system is giving patient education more importance. Many experts claim that nurses still have difficulties providing patient education because of a range of factors, which include a lack of expertise and numerous other obstacles. Moreover, there isn’t any published research that studies nurses’ attitudes, knowledge, and patient-teaching practices in primary healthcare in the United Arab Emirates. The research project aims to investigate the knowledge, attitude, and practice of patient teaching among nurses in primary health care centers to better understand how nurse knowledge and attitudes may affect nurse-performed patient education. The target population is nurses working in primary healthcare centers in Sharjah, Ajman, Dubai, Ras Al-Khaimah, Fujairah, and Umm Al Quwain. However, the sample size is 300 using a random cluster sampling technique. The participants were encouraged to take part in the study (KAPPTNQ) through an online survey. The study concludes that the majority of nurses are knowledgeable about patient education;a large proportion of the nurses have a positive attitude toward patient education;and the majority of the nurses have a positive practice of patient education. However, the major challenges nurses encounter with patients’ health teaching include language barriers, inadequate communication, ineffective time management, and cultural impacts on patient health education. .

An Exploratory Practice of Integration of Industry and Education in High-level Programming Language Course in the Background of New Engineering

This paper analyzes some problems of the current teaching situation in the course High-level Programming Language,such as the lagging content of the course compared with technology development,the emphasis on theory rather than on practice,the low enthusiasm of students for learning,and the weak practical ability of students.In response to the needs of enterprises for talents under the background of New Engineering,especially the cultivation of students’adaptability and practical abilities towards future industries to improve students’knowledge and problemsolving abilities to keep up with the modern technology,this paper proposes the ways and methods to reform and explore the teaching content and teaching methods by integrating industry and education,assisting teaching according to industrial demands,and lowering technology barriers of new technology.The practical effect is evaluated through a survey in class and the follow-up questionnaire after class,and the results show that the effect of the practice is effective.

“Flipped Classroom” Teaching Model Research: A Case Study of “Innovation and Entrepreneurship Education and Practice (Theory)”

The flipped classroom model differs significantly from the traditional classroom teaching model and offers numerous advantages. This article draws inspiration from the flipped classroom concept, using the “Innovation and Entrepreneurship Education and Practice (Theory)” course as an example to introduce the innovation and characteristics of the flipped classroom model: it is problem-oriented, addressing the “pain points” in teaching, motivating students towards “active learning,” and integrating diverse teaching methods. In the conclusion, the article proposed suggestions on the application of this model, encouraging teachers to summarize their teaching experiences, enhance their knowledge base, and foster students’ awareness of innovation and entrepreneurship.

基于高校科研团队的创新创业人才培养模式探索与实践

随着国家创新创业发展战略的有力推动,高校创新创业教育改革进入快速发展新时期。目前,高校还存在着创新创业教育意识不足、创新创业教学融入度不高、创新创业师资力量匮乏、实践教学体系不完备等问题。为促进创新创业教育高质量可持续发展,该文以高校自动化专业为例,通过分析高校创新创业教育主要特点和现存问题,提出基于高校科研团队的“科教融合、产教融合、赛教融合、理实融合”四个层次的创新创业教育体系,利用科研团队的优势资源、学术氛围、实践经验,有效促进学生的创新创业思维形成和创新实践能力提升,相关措施在自动化专业创新创业教育及复合型优秀人才培养中取得显著成效。

Construction and Practice of Teaching Staff and Teaching Quality Monitoring System in University Affiliated Hospitals Under the Background of Education Informatization

Objective:To build a set of teaching staff construction and teaching quality monitoring system suitable for clinical practice teaching in affiliated hospitals of medical colleges,achieve continuous improvement of clinical education and teaching level,and ensure the quality of medical education talent cultivation.Methods:A modern clinical practice teaching quality monitoring system is constructed based on organizational structure construction,teaching staff system construction,quality control system construction,and information platform construction,combined with external audit and evaluation.Results:The hospital has established a Faculty Development and Teaching Evaluation Office specifically responsible for the cultivation of clinical teachers and the evaluation and supervision of teaching quality.A relatively complete teacher construction and teaching quality monitoring system has also been established for clinical practice teaching,thus achieving integration with the school’s quality control system in terms of management mechanism.At the same time,a set of teaching quality control mode based on the“Internet+”platform has been created by means of informatization.At present,this mode has won three national computer software copyrights and two second prizes for school-level teaching achievements.Conclusion:Through five years of practice,an“Internet+”teaching quality evaluation and monitoring system with the characteristics of teaching hospitals affiliated to local medical colleges has been established.In order to further standardize the training system of clinical teachers in affiliated hospitals,achieve self-monitoring and self-improvement in terms of teaching quality,and ensure the continuous improvement of clinical teaching quality,we will continue to promote the development of clinical teachers with quality and excellence,enrich the main team of quality monitoring,guide the transformation of the education mode from being“centered on teachers”to being“centered on students,”and realize the integration of internal and external quality monitoring systems.
