We analyzed the source apportionment and assessed the health risk of TMs in agricultural soils by using positive matrix factorization(PMF) model and health risk assessment(HRA) model based on Monte Carlo simulation. Meanwhile, we combined PMF and HRA models to explore the health risks of TMs in agricultural soils by different pollution sources to determine the priority control factors. Results showed that the average contents of cadmium(Cd), arsenic (As), lead(Pb), chromium(Cr), copper(Cu), nickel(Ni), and zinc(Zn) in the soil were found to be 0.26, 5.93, 27.14, 61.32, 23.81, 32.45, and 78.65 mg/kg, respectively. Spatial analysis and source apportionment analysis revealed that urban and industrial sources, agricultural sources, and natural sources accounted for 33.0%, 27.7%, and 39.3% of TM accumulation in the soil, respectively. In the HRA model based on Monte Carlo simulation, noncarcinogenic risks were deemed negligible(hazard index <1), the carcinogenic risks were at acceptable level(10^(-6)<total carcinogenic risk ≤ 10^(-4)), with higher risks observed for children compared to adults. The relationship between TMs, their sources, and health risks indicated that urban and industrial sources were primarily associated with As, contributing to 75.1% of carcinogenic risks and 55.7% of non-carcinogenic risks, making them the primary control factors. Meanwhile, agricultural sources were primarily linked to Cd and Pb, contributing to 13.1% of carcinogenic risks and 21.8% of non-carcinogenic risks, designating them as secondary control factors.展开更多

The contents of SOM and TN typically decreased with increased soil depth at back and bottom slope. Soil loss and deposition tended to decrease SOM and TN at the 0–20 cm soil depth on both the back slope and the slope bottom. The TP firstly decreased from 0–20 cm to 30–40 cm, and then not constantly increased at the back slope and the bottom slope. Due to the characteristics of soil nutrients and crop absorption, the contents of both AP and AK were typically the highest at the summit, followed by the slope bottom and the back slope in the 0–20 cm layer. Generally, in order to sustain the high soil productivity and protect the environment, attention should be paid to soil conservation on back slope; in addition, additional N and P fertilizer is necessary on the back slope.展开更多

It is endowed with abundant mineral resources, and the metal mining activity can be traced back to ca. 8000 years ago. However, due to language barrier, little has been known about the geology and tectonics to the outside world until 1980s. In the last three decades, a great deal of knowledge has been gained, enhanced by a vigorous cooperation between Chinese and Western geologists. Research papers about geological, geochemical, and geochronological features of mineral deposits of China are widely published and cited in international journals. A comprehen- sive and comprehensible English literature that summarises the features of mineral deposits in China, however, is still lacking.展开更多

Ore bodies are hosted in slate and phyllite of Neoproterozoic Jialu and Wuye Formations, and are structurally controlled by EW-trending fault. It contains Cu and Pb metals about 0.12 million tonnes with grades of 0.2 wt% to 3.4 wt% Cu and 1.1 wt% to 9.27 wt% Pb. Massive and disseminated Cu-Pb ores from the Nage deposit occur as either veinlets or disseminations in silicified rocks. The ore minerals include chalcopyrite, galena and pyrite, and gangue minerals are quartz, sericite and chlorite. The H-O isotopic compositions of quartz, S-Cu-Pb isotopic compositions of sulfide minerals, Pb isotopic compositions of whole rocks and ores have been analyzed to trace the sources of ore-forming fluids and metals for the Nage Cu-Pb deposit. The oSCUNBs values of chalcopyrite range from -0.09% to +0.33%0, similar to basic igneous rocks and chalcopyrite from magmatic deposits. J6SCUNBS values of chalcopyrite from the early, middle and final mineralization stages show an increasing trend due to 63Cu prior migrated in gas phase when fluids exsolution from magma, ja4ScDT values of sulfide minerals range from -2.7‰ to +2.8‰, similar to mantle-derived sulfur (0±3‰). The positive correlation between J65CUNBs and ja4SCDT values of chalcopyrite indicates that a common source of copper metal and sulfur from magma. JDu2o- SMOW and JlSOH2O-SMOW values of water in fluid inclusions of quartz range from -60.7‰ to -44.4‰ and +7.9‰ to +9.0%0 (T=260℃), respectively and fall in the field for magmatic and metamorphic waters, implicating that mixed sources for H20 in hydrothermal fluids. Ores and sulfide minerals have a small range of Pb isotopic compositions (208Pb/204pb=38.152 to 38.384, 207Pb/204Pb=15.656 to 17.708 and 206Pb/204Pb=17.991 to 18.049) that are close to orogenic belt and upper crust Pb evolution curve, and similar to Neoproterozoic host rocks (208Pb/204Pb=38.201 to 38.6373, 207pb/204pb=15.648 to 15.673 and 206pb/204pb=17.820 to 18.258), but higher than diabase (208Pb/204pb=37.830 to 38.012, 207pb/204pb=15.620 to 15.635 and 206pb/204pb=17.808 to 17.902). These results imply that the Pb metal originated mainly from host rocks. The H-O-S-Cu-Pb isotopes tegather with geology, indicating that the ore genesis of the Nage Cu-Pb deposit is post-magmatic hydrothermal type.展开更多

文摘This study aimed to investigate the pollution characteristics, source apportionment, and health risks associated with trace metal(loid)s(TMs) in the major agricultural producing areas in Chongqing, China. Meanwhile, agricultural sources were primarily linked to Cd and Pb, contributing to 13.1% of carcinogenic risks and 21.8% of non-carcinogenic risks, designating them as secondary control factors.

文摘In the post-pandemic era,the global economic and security landscapes are fraught with complexities and uncertainties.Among them, four risk flashpoints merit attention:Certain countries are raising interest rates to subdue inflation, despite their already high levels of debt;the bulk commodities market is experiencing volatility, leading to global turbulence and change;trade protectionism is at the forefront of major-power rivalry in political and economic spheres;and regional security crises are compounding international tensions.Behind those flashpoints are contradictions that obstruct world peace and progress, including development imbalances, governance gaps, and structural tensions in global security. In the face of uncertainties,it is crucial for China to seize strategic opportunities and transform crises into favorable situations.China has launched the Global Development Initiative(GDI)and the Global Security Initiative(GSI)to contribute to global prosperity and security. The two initiatives demonstrate China’s commitment to addressing global deficits in peace, development, security, and governance.

文摘Vegetation greening has long been acknowledged, but recent studies have pointed out that vegetation greening is possibly stalled or even reversed. However, detailed analyses about greening reversal or increased browning of vegetation remain scarce. In this study,we utilized the normalized difference vegetation index(NDVI)as an indicator of vegetation to investigate the trends of vegetation greening and browning(monotonic, interruption, and reversal)through the breaks for the additive season and trend(BFAST)method across China’s drylands from 1982 to 2022.It also reveals the impacts of ecological restoration programs(ERPs)and climate change on these vegetation trends. We find that the vegetation displays an obvious pattern of east-greening and west-browning in China’s drylands.Greening trends mainly exhibits monotonic greening(29.8%)and greening with setback(36.8%),whereas browning shows a greening to browning reversal(19.2%).The increase rate of greening to browning reversal is 0.0342/yr,which is apparently greater than that of greening with setback,0.0078/yr.This research highlights that, under the background of widespread vegetation greening, vegetation browning is pro-gressively increasing due to the effects of climate change.Furthermore, the ERPs have significantly increased vegetation coverage, with the increase rate in 2000-2022 being twice as much as that of 1982-1999 in reveg-etation regions.Vegetation browning in southwestern Qingzang Plateau is primarily driven by adverse climatic factors and anthropogenic disturbances, which offset the efforts of ERPs.

文摘In order to generate scientifically-based comparative information to improve fertilization efficiency and reduce nutrient loss, 610 samples of 122 soil profiles were collected at the 0–60 cm depth to compare soil nutrient contents including soil organic matter(SOM), total nitrogen(TN), total phosphorus(TP), available phosphorus(AP), and available potassium(AK) among different slope positions in a Mollisol farmland area of Northeast China. Generally, in order to sustain the high soil productivity and protect the environment, attention should be paid to soil conservation on back slope; in addition, additional N and P fertilizer is necessary on the back slope.

文摘The Lomagundi(-Jatuli)event,characterized by extremely high positive global inorganic carbon isotope excursion at about 2.2 billion years ago,is pivotal in investigating the causes and consequences of great oxygenation event, inventory and sequestration of carbon on the Earth’s surface, evolution of life, and more profoundly tectonic control on Earth’s environment. However, the reasons that caused the isotopic excursion are not resolved yet.Herein,we report the discovery of meta-carbonate rocks with distinct positive carbon isotopic excursion from the Paleoproterozoic continental collision zone of the Kongling Complex,South China Craton. The δ^(13)C_(V-PDB) values for meta-carbonate rocks show positive values in the range from+5.5‰to+11.6‰,whereas the δ^(13)C_(V-PDB) values of associated graphite deposits range from-25.8‰to-9.5‰.Zircon U-Pb-Hf isotopes from zircon-bearing meta-carbonate sample yielded weighted average _(207)Pb/_(206)Pb age of 2001.3±9.5 Ma,with correspondingε_(Hf)(t)range from-7.05 to-3.16,comparable to the values of local 2.9–2.6 Ga basement rocks.Geochemical characteristics of meta-carbonate rocks, such as their rare earth element patterns and the trace element parameters of La,Ce,Eu,and Gd anomalies and Y/Ho ratio, suggest that the carbonate deposition took place in passive continental margin in association with large volumes of organic carbon. The extensive graphite deposits from Kongling Complex in South China Craton, their equivalents in the North China Craton and elsewhere across the globe prove that the burial of ^(12)C-enriched organic carbon has eventually resulted in the global enrichment of ^(13)C in the atmospheric CO_(2),which is recorded in the marine carbonate rocks.Isotopic mass balance estimates indicate that more than half of the organic carbon was buried during the oceanic closure.Hence, the observed global shift could be directly related to the continent collision event in greater China, thus resolving the long-standing paradox of the Lomagundi global positive carbon isotope excursion. Moreover, the present results suggest that orogenesis play a significant role in sequestration of carbon into the continental crust.

The characteristics of lightning monitoring and positioning system in Inner Mongolia were introduced and studied in the lightning accident analysis based on the lightning monitoring and positioning data of the lightning stroke accidents. The positioning error of lightning monitoring and positioning system was analyzed. The results showed that lightning current intensity and the position precision were very important data in the lightning disaster investigation. Finally, a variety of meteorological data should be applied in the lightning disaster investigation and identification.
文摘China is the third largest country in the world, with a land area of about 9.6 million km2. A comprehen- sive and comprehensible English literature that summarises the features of mineral deposits in China, however, is still lacking.

文摘Clarifying China’s position in the global system is an important logical basis for developing national diplomacy.Although much research has been done on China’s development status, most studies have been based on country comparisons or institutional en-vironment.In today’s networked era in which the global economy, trade, personnel, and information are closely connected, studies on China’s global position and its status changes and influencing factors in multiple contact networks are still insufficient. In this study, from the perspective of diverse global contact networks,we constructed economic, cultural, and political influence indices to explore the changes and influencing factors on China’s status in the global system from 2005 to 2018.The results show that during the study period,China’s global influence in the fields of economic ties, cultural exchanges, and political contacts increased significantly, but its influ-ence in the fields of cultural exchanges and political contacts lagged far economic ties. The pattern of China’s economic influence on various economies around the world has shown a transformation from an‘upright pyramid’to an‘inverted pyramid’structure. The proportion of these economies in low-influence zones has decreased from more than 60%in 2005 to less than 20%in 2018.China’s cultural and political influence on various economies around the world has increased significantly;however, for the former, the percentage of high-influence areas is still less than 20%,whereas for the latter the percentage of these economies in medium-and high-influence areas is still less than 50%.Analyses such as a scatter plot matrix show that geographical proximity, economic globalization, close cooperation with developing countries, and a proactive and peaceful foreign policy are important factors in improving China’s status in the diverse global network system.

文摘Huaihe River Basin(HRB) is located in China’s north-south climatic transition zone, which is very sensitive to global climate change.Based on the daily maximum temperature, minimum temperature, and precipitation data of 40 meteorological stations and nine monthly large-scale ocean-atmospheric circulation indices data during 1959–2019,we present an assessment of the spatial and temporal variations of extreme temperature and precipitation events in the HRB using nine extreme climate indices, and analyze the teleconnection relationship between extreme climate indices and large-scale ocean-atmospheric circulation indices. The results show that warm extreme indices show a significant(P < 0.05) increasing trend, while cold extreme indices(except for cold spell duration) and diurnal temperature range(DTR) show a significant decreasing trend.Furthermore, all extreme temperature indices show significant mutations during 1959-2019.Spatially,a stronger warming trend occurs in eastern HRB than western HRB,while maximum 5-d precipitation(Rx5day) and rainstorm days(R25) show an increasing trend in the southern, central, and northwestern regions of HRB.Arctic oscillation(AO),Atlantic multidecadal oscillation(AMO),and East Atlantic/Western Russia(EA/WR) have a stronger correlation with extreme climate indices compared to other circulation indices.AO and AMO(EA/WR) exhibit a significant(P < 0.05) negative(positive)correlation with frost days and diurnal temperature range.Extreme warm events are strongly correlated with the variability of AMO and EA/WR in most parts of HRB,while extreme cold events are closely related to the variability of AO and AMO in eastern HRB.In contrast,AMO,AO,and EA/WR show limited impacts on extreme precipitation events in most parts of HRB.

文摘Data on discrete, isolated attributes of the marine economy are often used in traditional marine economic research. However,as the focus of urban research shifts from internal static attributes to external dynamic linkages, the importance of marine economic net-work research is beginning to emerge. The construction of the marine economic network in China’s coastal areas is necessary to change the flow of land and sea resources and optimize regional marine economic development.Employing data from headquarters and branches of sea-related A-share listed enterprises to construct the marine economic network in China,we use social network analysis(SNA)to discuss the characteristics of its evolution as of 2010,2015,and 2020 and its governance. The following results were obtained.1)In terms of topological characteristics, the scale of the marine economic network in China’s coastal areas has accelerated and expan-ded,and the connections have become increasingly close;thus, this development has complex network characteristics.2)In terms of spatial structure, the intensity of the connection fluctuates and does not form stable development support;the group structure gradually becomes clear, but the overall pattern is fragmented;there are spatial differences in marine economic agglomeration radiation;the radi-ation effect of the eastern marine economic circle is obvious;and the polarization effect of northern and southern marine economic circles is significant. On this basis,we construct a framework for the governance of a marine economic network with the market, the government, and industry as the three governing bodies.By clarifying the driving factors and building objectives of marine economic network construction, this study aims to foster the high-quality development of China’s marine economy.

文摘The Sichuan-Yunnan-Guizhou(SYG)Pb-Zn mineral province, which has significant Pb-Zn repositories in China,is situated in the western Yangtze Block.Despite decades of research, the Pb-Zn source of deposits is still disputed between the basement rocks, sedimentary wall rocks,or the Emeishan flood basalts. The newly-discovered Laoxiongdong Pb-Zn deposit is hosted by the Late Ediacaran Dengying Formation in the SYG province. Moreover, the Laoxiongdong orebodies lie between regional deep faults and close to the Proterozoic basement and Emeishan basalts.Hence, this deposit represents a good case study on the ore-forming material source for the regional Pb-Zn mineralization. The Laoxiongdong Pb-Zn ores are massive, vein,or disseminated and have mainly sphalerite, galena, pyrite, quartz, and calcite. In this paper,we present new sulfide S-Pb-Zn isotope data of the deposit. The sulfideδ34SCDT values(+11.8 to+16.5‰)suggest that the reduced sulfur was mainly sourced from evaporites in the Late Ediacaran-Cambrian sequences.Pb isotopic ratios(206Pb/204Pb=18.004-18.107,207Pb/204Pb=15.652-15.667,and 208Pb/204Pb=38.037-38.248)suggest that the lead metal was primarily originated from the basement rocks. The sphaleriteδ66Zn values(+0.16 to+0.37‰)are also highly similar(within error)to those of basement rocks(+0.10 to+0.34‰),suggesting a basement-rocks zinc source with minor contributions from the carbonate host rocks and Emeishan flood basalts. The narrow sphalerite Zn isotopic range(0.21‰)also indicates that the Zn isotopic fractionation between the sphalerite and initial fluid was limited during the sphalerite ore precipitation. Therefore,we propose that both the Late Ediacaran Dengying Formation rocks and Proterozoic basement rocks were important ore-forming material source for the Laoxiongdong deposit, whereas the Emeishan flood basalts represent only a minor ore-material source.

文摘The Nage Cu-Pb deposit, a new found ore deposit in the southeast Guizhou province, southwest China, is located on the southwestern margin of the Jiangnan Orogenic Belt. The H-O-S-Cu-Pb isotopes tegather with geology, indicating that the ore genesis of the Nage Cu-Pb deposit is post-magmatic hydrothermal type.

文摘The Yinchanggou-Qiluogou Pb-Zn deposit, located in the western Yangtze Block, southwest China,is hosted by the Upper Sinian Dengying Formation dolostone.Ore bodies occur in the Qiluogou anticline and the NS-and NNW-trending faults.Sulfide ores mainly consist of sphalerite, pyrite, galena and calcite, with subordinate dolomite and quartz.Seventeen ore bodies have been discovered to date and they have a combined 1.0 million tons of sulfide ores with average grades of 2.27wt%Zn and 6.89wt%Pb.The δD(H2O-SMOW) and δ18O(H2O-SMOW) values of fluid inclusions in quartz and calcite samples range from-68.9‰ to-48.7‰ and 7.3‰ to 15.9‰,respectively,suggesting that H2O in the hydrothermal fluids sourced from metamorphic water.Calcite samples have δ13C(PDB) values ranging from-6.2‰ to-4.1‰ and δ18O(SMOW) values ranging from 15.1‰ to 17.4‰,indicating C and O in the hydrothermal fluids likely derived from a mixed source of metamorphic fluids and the host carbonates. The δ34S(CDT) values of sulfide minerals range from 5.5‰ to 20.3‰,suggesting that thermal chemical reduction of sulfate minerals in evaporates were the most probable source of S in the hydrothermal fluids. The 206Pb/204Pb,207Pb/204Pb and 208Pb/204Pb ratios of sulfide minerals fall in the range of 18.11 to 18.40,15.66 to 15.76 and 38.25 to 38.88,respectively.The Pb isotopic data of the studied deposit plot near the upper crust Pb evolution curve and overlap with the age-corrected Proterozoic basement rocks and the Upper Sinian Dengying Formation hosting dolostone. This indicates that the Pb originated from a mixed source of the basement metamorphic rocks and the ore-hosting carbonate rocks. The ore geology and C-H-O-S-Pb isotopic data suggest that the YinchanggouQiluogou deposit is an unusual carbonate-hosted,strata-bound and epigenetic deposit that derived ore-forming materials from a mixed source of the underlying Porterozoic basements and the Sinian hosting carbonates.
