An Empirical Study on Foreign Language Majors’Needs for Ideological and Political Education Elements in Chinese Universities

The paper takes 2076 undergraduate students majoring in foreign languages from 15 Chinese universities as the research subjects to investigate their demand for ideological and political education elements in foreign language courses.The results show that:(1)Students have high needs for ideological and political education elements in foreign language courses;(2)There are differences in students’needs for ideological and political education elements across different dimensions.Students have higher demand for dimensions such as personal qualities,cultural literacy,moral cultivation,and patriotism,while their demand for dimensions related to constitutional law and political identity is relatively low.Therefore,foreign language majors in Chinese universities should optimize the supply of ideological and political education elements in their courses according to students’needs,and improve the effectiveness of moral education in these courses.

Chinese Education Modernization:A Case Study on Ideological and Political Theories Teaching in All Courses with Organic Integration of Cultural Literacy and Political Education

Chinese education modernization is integral to Chinese modernization,and is of leading significance to the further advancement of Chinese modernization and the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.In this paper,taking ideological and political theories teaching in all courses as an example,an attempt is made to organically integrate cultural literacy and political education under the vision of Chinese education modernization,and“gathers knowledge heritage in the dissemination of value and leads the values in the dissemination of knowledge,”thereby training students into highcaliber talents with good and all-round moral,intellectual,physical,aesthetical,and labor grounding.

The Practical Enlightenment of Chinese Modernization to the Modernization of Ideological and Political Education in Universities

The report approved on The 20th National Congress of The Communist Party of China (CPC) explained deep meaning of Chinese modernization, which provided practical enlightenment and value guidance for the modernization of ideological and political education in universities. The five distinctive characteristics of Chinese modernization, including “huge population”,“common prosperity for all”, “harmony between material and spiritual civilization”, “harmony between humanity and nature”, “following the path of peaceful development”, guided universities to build a more targeted ideological and political education system. In this way, universities can cultivate more talents for modernization cause.

Cross-cultural Education Model for Foreign Students in China Inte­grating Ideological and Political Education

With the deepening the“One Belt and One Road”construction,the exchanges between China and other countries in the world are increasingly frequent,the number of foreign students in China is rising,and there are cross-cultural adaptability problems of foreign students in China.The education of foreign students in China undertakes the mission of serving the national external development strategy.In order to better serve the“One Belt and One Road”construction,relying on tradition industry advantage of the School of Civil Engineering,Central South University in civil engineering and railway engineering,a set of cross-cultural education model for foreign students in China integrating ideological and political education is explored and practiced in the foreign student education management of the curriculum system,daily management,cross-cultural counseling,social practice and cultural exchanges,which can be summarized as“one goal,two combinations,three approaches,four abilities and five management measures”.This management model can effectively enhance the cross-cultural adaptability of foreign students,cultivate the emotion of knowing and being friendly to China,improve the education quality of foreign students in China,enhance the international education influence of the Central South University,and promote the spread of Chinese culture.

此文围绕以育人为本位的价值理念,对西医院校中医课程思政的构建进行了探索。文章分析了目前西医院校中医课程以及中医课程思政的现状和背景,中医课程思政建设符合国家建设高水平大学、培养高质量人才的要求和维护人类健康的需求,其必要性不言而喻,并具有可行性。从教学目标和计划、教学内容的挖掘与整合、教学形式的改革与创新、教师队伍培训和教学效果评价措施五个方面具体展开,探讨了课程思政构建的内容,为实现以育人为本位的医学人才培养目标提供了思路。
