Complete Collection of Traditional Chinese Arts and Crafts(Zhongguo chuantong gongyi quanji中国传统工艺全集):A Work of Ingenuity

In 1996,the Institute for the History of Natural Sciences of the Chinese Academy of Sciences began work on the Complete Collection of Traditional Ounese Arts and Crafts(Zhongguo chuantong ongyi quanji中国传统工艺全集).In 2016,Elephant Press published this twenty-volume magnum opus under the chief editorship of Lu Yongxiang路甬祥.This rich and informative book series systematically details traditional arts and crafts in over ten main categories that demonstrate Chinese scholars'mastery of fields such as lacquerware,ceramics,metal crafts,machinery,spinning and weaving,dyeing,brewing,processing of traditional Chinese materia medica,papermaking and printing,sculpting,and armor restoration.The authors are well versed in traditional Chinese arts and crafts and have the pertinent academic credentials,elevating research on the subject to a new level and breadth.However,the Complete Collection has not yet covered all significant arts and crafts,and the cultural implications have still to be explored.

Research on Developing Traditional Chinese Martial Arts Culture and Effectively Penetrating Moral Education

In order to implement the requirement of Minislry of Education, ＂further deepen the reform of moral education courses, and play a role in the classroom main channel＂, with literature analysis, case studies and other methods, we make an objective analysis of the real issues of ＂sports disciplines teaching moral education ＂. The results show that physical teachers should effectively improve the penetration ideology and moral education wisdom and teaching skills; they should grasp the connection between moral and discipline and integrate ＂moral goals＂ organically into a three-dimensional target subjects, and implemented it in accordance with the corresponding dimension specific content; in the implementation process, we should focus on using a variety of learning styles, making clever use of resources and make the best use; we need to persevere, to strengthen the sports discipline of moral norms infiltration operations, and better protect the effective penetration of Physical Education in Moral Education.

Classroom Teaching Evaluation of Chinese Painting as a Form of Fine Arts in Rural Junior High Schools

Teaching evaluation is an indispensable part of the teaching system of junior high school.In order to inherit the excellent traditional Chinese culture and arts,traditional Chinese painting has been paid more and more attention to in the fine arts curriculum of rural junior high school.This paper takes the classroom teaching evaluation of traditional Chinese painting as a form of fine arts in rural junior high school as the research object,and analyzes the problems existing in the classroom teaching evaluation of traditional Chinese painting in rural junior high school.This paper puts forward the corresponding improvement measures from the aspects of comprehensive evaluation object,concrete evaluation content,flexible evaluation language and diversified evaluation subjects,in order to improve the evaluation level of fine arts teachers'classroom teaching,improve students'aesthetic cognition and learning interest in traditional Chinese painting,and cultivate students'innovative thinking and spirit.

Development of Chinese Traditional Philosophy and Ancient Flower Arrangement Art

Traditional philosophical thoughts have different connotations in different historical periods in China. Affected by it, the flower arrangement art has produced different artistic styles: religious flower of the Han, Wei and Six Dynasties, courtyard flower in the Sui and Tang dynasties, concept flower and mental imagery flower in the Song and Yuan dynasties, and new concept flower, literati flower, pictographic flower and scenery description flower in the Ming and Qing dynasties.

The Modernization of Traditional Chinese Opera and a Local Perspective of Local Operas:A Case Study of the Research on the Yisu Art Troupe by Li Youjun and Guo Hongjun

From both historical and artistic points of view,Qinqiang Opera can be considered a significant genre outside the realms of Peking Opera and Kunqu Opera.The research on Qinqiang Opera has long been a focal point in the research on local operas with particular emphasis from a local perspective of the Yisu Art Troupe,a key and hot topic in the studies of Qinqiang Opera.Taking the Yisu Art Troupe as a case study to scrutinize and address the intricacies within the process of modernization of traditional Chinese opera proved to be beneficial.Since the 20th century,studies on the Yisu Art Troupe have evolved from scattered and impressionistic self-narratives into systematic and theoretical academic research.In the new century,scholars,such as Xin Xuefeng,Li Youjun,and Guo Hongjun,have been especially diligent with studies in this field.As Xin Xuefeng is relatively unknown due to his emphasis on traditional opera music,Li Youjun and Guo Hongjun have gradually emerged as important contemporary scholars in the study of the Yisu Art Troupe.Guo and Li not only further theorize the study of the Yisu Art Troupe but also conduct in-depth and meticulous studies on the nature of the Yisu Art Troupe,the establishment of the director-centered mode in Qinqiang Opera,the social function,and the playwriting of the Yisu Art Troupe by examining and reflecting it within the broader context of the modernization of traditional Chinese opera in the 20th century.

Applied research of Chinese traditional culture in art and design

With the persistent efforts of the emerging concepts as well as new types of decoration materials, modem interior design concepts usher in a new round of innovation. Facing the impact of the new innovative ideas, the Chinese traditional culture and art urgently need a way to combine efficient with the modern design concept.

Health benefits of traditional Chinese sports and physical activity for older adults: A systematic review of evidence

Background: Traditional Chinese sports and physical activities(PAs) have a long history and are practiced by millions of Chinese. However,relatively few systematic reviews of the scientific evidence for their health benefits, especially for older Chinese adults, have been undertaken.Evidence acquisition: Between January and March 2016, a systematic search was conducted using the CNKI and Pub Med databases to identify studies published between 2000 and 2015. Studies were selected for review if they were designed specifically to evaluate the health benefits of traditional Chinese sports and PAs in adults aged 50 years and older in the Mainland of China. The studies included observational, uncontrolled,and randomized and controlled designs. Papers published without an English title or abstract were excluded.Evidence synthesis: The initial search identified a total of 229 studies. After removing duplicates and studies that did not meet the inclusion/exclusion criteria, 95 studies were selected for review. Special attention was given to studies of the most commonly practiced activities: Tai Ji Quan,Qigong, and Yangko exercises. A positive association between these types of exercise and health benefits was noted for healthy older adults and those with chronic diseases. Evidence on other types of activities was less clear due to the limited number of studies conducted.Conclusion: There is promising evidence that traditional Chinese sports and PAs provide many health benefits for older Chinese adults. While additional scientifically rigorous research is warranted, promoting these traditional and culturally-based sports and PAs as forms of behavioral medicine in primary and secondary prevention of diseases among the aging Chinese population will help fulfill an urgent public health need.

Chinese red refers to a key visual symbol of the multiethnic Chinese nation. From naming to local color preference, the visual experience accumulation in Chinese red lies not just in the solitary and fossilized historical relics, but in a ceaseless and dynamic process of formation, recognition, conversion and transmission. Moreover, the symbolic constitution and ethnic identi cation of Chinese red exempli es historical accomplishments in local exchanges of artifacts, technologies, systems, and outlooks with foreign partners. Therefore, as part of the country's cultural heritage, Chinese red also encompasses two aspects, cultural integration based on its identification and artistic productivity with a focus on di erentiation.

Reverberating Chinese Traditional Folk Art in a Contemporary Context

Envisioned as a practice-based research, this paper explored Chinese traditional folk arts and crafts with a focus on traditional decorative patterns, vivid colors, and symbolic motifs that enliven Foshan style paper-cuttings, New Year wood block prints, paper kites, festival lanterns, and Shiwan pottery figures from the areas of Foshan and Shiwan, near Guangzhou, China. The goal of this research was to create a series of original paintings by investigating Chinese traditional folk arts and handcrafts and integrating them physically or ichnographically on Ho＇s new body of paintings. Chinese traditional motifs including Chinese characters and Buddhist iconographies had already been important motifs in the contemporary Western paintings of Kong Ho for the past 10 years. This paper examined not only the artistic, cultural, and historical values but also the impacts of Chinese traditional folk arts and era~ on Ho＇s painting through a personal research travel and studies of a certain amount of Chinese paper-cuttings, folk prints, pottery, and handcrafts found in the famous Foshan Folk Art Studio and Foshan City Shiwan Ceramics Factory in Foshan, China. Furthermore, this paper investigated the symbolic meanings founded in Ho＇s spiritual paintings with strong Chinese heritage and how he reinterpreted those artifacts in a contemporary context.

铸牢中华民族共同体意识是新时代党的民族工作的主线,为全面建成社会主义现代化强国提供不竭动力。中华射艺文化源远流长,博大精深,蕴含中华优秀传统文化的独特魅力和深厚底蕴。文章采用文献资料法和逻辑分析法,以中华射艺文化为研究对象,探究中华射艺文化参与铸牢中华民族共同体意识的内在逻辑、实践机制与协同路径。研究认为:中华射艺文化在铸牢中华民族共同体意识方面以其同力性、同心性和同向性产生了多重的逻辑关联,这不仅增强了中华民族的凝聚力和向心力,也为铸牢中华民族共同体意识提供了坚实的精神支撑。为此,通过采用现代化技术手段;深挖民族文化型旅游资源;扎根多民族融合互嵌式社区,深度融合中华射艺文化参与铸牢中华民族共同体意识的三位一体实践机制。然后,依循“认知—认可—认同”三层次路径,把握中华射艺文化传承的可及性与系统性,注重中华射艺文化发展的时代性与大众性,保持中华射艺文化内在的民族性与先进性,进一步夯实铸牢中华民族共同体意识的文化基础。

中国武术新型师徒关系的构建研究

中国武术师徒关系经历了传统、现代与当代,各个时代所展现出的特征映射着当时的背景与文化。运用口述史等方法,以中国武术师徒关系的特征为主要内容,总结出师徒因身份、人情、目标、技艺驱动着关系发展的传统性特征;具有开放性、流动性、灵活性、生态化、制度化的现代性特征。认为中国武术师徒关系的特征符合时代背景,建议当代新型师徒关系的构建应倡导“以生为本,以师为用”的教育理念、夯实“习得途径,知识传承”的育人过程、凸显“以武强身,武以成人”的育人目标;强调“道德为体,制度为纲”的组织形式、注重“适应时代,弘扬精神”的构建模式。

欧美硕博论文中的中国武术研究现状及特征

为了解中国武术在欧美高校的学术影响力,帮助中国学者洞悉他者眼中的中国武术的样态,运用数理分析和文本分析的方法,对世界著名的学位论文数据库(ProQuest)2000-2023年间收录的有关中国武术的83篇硕博论文进行梳理。研究发现:1)从年度发文量上看,随着人口老龄化和慢性病的流行,以太极拳为代表的中国武术在治未病和慢性病方面的疗效已经逐渐得到关注;2)从研究生的培养单位来看,有关中国武术的硕博论文主要集中在美国,其它国家尚无这个领域的研究团队或者即使有团队,但是研究方向尚不稳定;3)从导师阵容来看,非华裔导师居多;4)从研究内容来看,人文社会科学领域主要集中在武侠文学、功夫影片、武术教学、功夫哲学等方面,自然科学领域关注点在于太极拳对心理疾病、平衡能力、肥胖症、记忆力等的效用。进一步分析得出欧美硕博论文中的中国武术研究具有以下特征:1)研究理念上追求特异性;2)研究内容上具有多元性;3)研究方法上崇尚跨界性;4)研究趋势上呈现离散性。该研究对于我国民族传统体育学研究生培养体系的完善和中国武术全球化发展战略的实施,具有重要的镜鉴意义。

新媒体语境中粤曲的创意转化与运营传播

传统曲艺在新媒体语境中面对着几乎全新的传播生态,故须在表现形式、审美趣味与运营推广方面予以调适。近年来,粤曲的新媒体创意转化和融合不断推进,从学理上可以识别出跨类型融合、跨媒介融合、跨产业赋能等特征,在表达上则体现出流行化、国潮化、时尚化等特点。粤曲的新媒体运营不仅注重平台与圈层的多元跨越,通过多方借力推动了粤曲的广泛化、分众化、爆点式传播,而且注重持续性、深度化的拓展运营,从而体现出“跨”“借”“拓”的特点。粤曲的新媒体创意与运营,为曲艺乃至戏曲的当代转化与传播提供了有力借鉴,但在运作的准则与机制上也仍须进一步完善。

人类命运共同体视域下中国武术国际化传播的理路探赜

中国武术作为中华传统文化的子系统,其国际化传播对于“讲好中国故事,传播好中国声音”,平衡中国经济发展与文化软实力之间的差距具有重要的时代意义。该研究运用文献资料法、逻辑分析法,对中国武术从“我”走向“我们”的时代价值、现实困囿以及纾困策略展开探讨。研究发现:中国武术从“我”走向“我们”,能够为构建人类卫生健康共同体贡献中国健身方式;能够为促进全球文化多样性和包容性贡献中国内容;能够为推动构建人类命运共同体传播中国理念。在中国武术从“我”走向“我们”的过程中,面临以下现实困境:民众对中国武术的认知窠臼,导致中国武术国际化传播的价值定位出现偏差;西方国家的“零和博弈”思维,导致中国武术国际化传播的途径受到阻碍;单向度的叙事模式,引起国外民众对中国武术国际化传播的误解与抵制。中国武术的国际化传播,应着重做好以下几方面工作:服务人类命运共同体构建,激发中国武术国际化传播的内生驱动力;维护好共建“一带一路”朋友圈,探寻中国武术智慧化国际传播路径;平衡中国武术文化的普遍性和特殊性,改变传统“二元对立”的叙事模式。
