A study on relationship between molecular structure and chromatographic retention values for realizing the identification and prediction of chromatographic retention values has been the major task of chromatographic thermodynamics. In 1964, Prof. Lu Peizhang established the relationship between molecular structural parameters and chromatographic retention values in gas-liquid chromatography by using statistical thermodynamical methods. Based on his work, some Chinese researchers have performed the prediction of chromatographic retention values.

两类β-环糊精衍生物固定相上溶质的色谱保留行为和热力学性质

合成的２，３，６－Ｏ－三丁基－β－环糊精（ＴＢ－β－ＣＤ）和２，６－Ｏ－三丁基－３－三氟乙酰基－β－环糊精（ＤＢ－ＴＦＡ－β－ＣＤ）是新颖的选择性固定相，十二组芳香族化合物异构体，正构醇、邻苯二甲酸二酯以及正构烷烃等系列化合物在用以上两种固定液涂渍的弹性石英毛细管柱上得到很好的分离。测定了其中３７种化合物在两类固定相上的热力学参数△Ｈ，△Ｓ，△Ｇ，△（△Ｈ），△（△Ｓ），并与全氧冠醚 ＰＳＯ－１１－１８Ｃ６和 ＰＥＧ２０Ｍ固定液上测得的热力学参数进行比较，结果表明：两种ＣＤ类柱上测得的△Ｓ值明显高于ＰＳＯ－１１－１８Ｃ６和ＰＥＧ２０Ｍ柱，构型效应明显，进一步探讨两类β－ＣＤ衍生物固定液对所测化合物的分子识别和色谱分离机理。
