Traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)is a precious treasure of the Chinese nation and has unique advantages in the prevention and treatment of diseases.The holistic view of TCM coincides with the new generation of medical...Traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)is a precious treasure of the Chinese nation and has unique advantages in the prevention and treatment of diseases.The holistic view of TCM coincides with the new generation of medical research paradigm characterized by network and system.TCM gave birth to a new method featuring holistic and systematic"network target",a core theory and method of network pharmacology.TCM is also an important research object of network pharmacology.TCM network pharmacology,which aims to understand the network-based biological basis of complex diseases,TCM syndromes and herb treatments,plays a critical role in the origin and development process of network pharmacology.This review introduces new progresses of TCM network pharmacology in recent years,including predicting herb targets,understanding biological foundation of diseases and syndromes,network regulation mechanisms of herbal formulae,and identifying disease and syndrome biomarkers based on biological network.These studies show a trend of combining computational,experimental and clinical approaches,which is a promising direction of TCM network pharmacology research in the future.Considering that TCM network pharmacology is still a young research field,it is necessary to further standardize the research process and evaluation indicators to promote its healthy development.展开更多

In order to increase the therapeutical effect, we modified some steps of Rosen...In recent years, tumor-nfiltrating lymphocytes (TILs) have been reported to be effective for tumors in experimental and clinical research. In order to increase the therapeutical effect, we modified some steps of Rosenberg's approach a. cold digestion with collagenase at 4C for 24 hours; b. sedimentation instead of centrifugation; c. elimination of tumor cells before the cultivation procedure. Compared with the original approach, the proliferation, activity and cytotoxicity of TILs obtained by the modified procedure were much improved. TILs' expansion-old was greater than that with the original approach. Cytotoxicity against rumor cells was more potent. Increased TILs' subsets were CD3 and CD8 cells. Meanwhile, we took tumor cells from tumor tissues to test their in vitro chemosensitivities to different drugs in order to select highly sensitive antitumor drugs for treatment of cases with advanced tumors. According to the design of using highly active TILs and highly sensitive drugs (H & H therapy), preliminary clinical results of 50 cases showed higher response rates than those in treatment with TIL / IL2, LAK / 1L2 and TIL+IL2+CTX. Less toxic side effects were observed in 14 patients.展开更多

Regenerative endodontic procedures have been rapidly evolving over the past two decades and are employed extensively in clinical endodontics.These procedures have been perceived as valuable adjuvants to conventional s...Regenerative endodontic procedures have been rapidly evolving over the past two decades and are employed extensively in clinical endodontics.These procedures have been perceived as valuable adjuvants to conventional strategies in the treatment of necrotic immature permanent teeth that were deemed to have poor prognosis.As a component biological triad of tissue engineering(i.e.,stem cells,growth factors and scaffolds),biomaterial scaffolds have demonstrated clinical potential as an armamentarium in regenerative endodontic procedures and achieved remarkable advancements.The aim of the present review is to provide a broad overview of biomaterials employed for scaffolding in regenerative endodontics.The favorable properties and limitations of biomaterials organized in naturally derived,host-derived and synthetic material categories were discussed.Preclinical and clinical studies published over the past five years on the performance of biomaterial scaffolds,as well as current challenges and future perspectives for the application of biomaterials for scaffolding and clinical evaluation of biomaterial scaffolds in regenerative endodontic procedures were addressed in depth.展开更多
