The results show that the addition of Cr ...The influence of different contents of Cr, Mo, and rare earth element(RE) additives on the thermal conductivity of austenitic medium manganese steel was studied and discussed. The results show that the addition of Cr in medium manganese steel can improved the ordering of C–Mn atomic clusters, so as to improve the steel's thermal conductivity. However, Cr will lead to precipitation of a great deal of carbides in medium manganese steel when its content is greater than 4wt%. These carbides would aggregate around the grain boundary, and as a result, the thermal conductivity is decreased. By the addition of Mo whose content is about 2wt%, spherical carbides will be formed, thus improving the thermal conductivity of the medium manganese steel. The interaction between rare earth elements and alloying elements will raise both the thermal conductivity and the wear-resisting property of medium manganese steel.展开更多

Meanwhile, the residual stress fields were measured and simulated. Based on experiment mentioned above, the improved structure and modified inclusion in hardfacing metal with rare earth (RE) oxide were analyzed. The results show that, the hardfacing crack is initiated from the coarse dendritic crystal grain boundary, inclusions and coarse austenite grain boundary in the HAZ and propagated by the residual stress existing in the center of the hardfacing metal and HAZ. The primary columnar grain structure can be refined by adding RE oxide in the coating of the electrode. The inclusion in the hardfacing metal can be modified as well. Meanwhile, if the martensite transformation temperature is decreased, the largest value of the residual tensile stress in the dangerous region can be reduced.展开更多

X-ray photoemission spectroscopy (XPS) was used to investigate their electronic structures. The cobalt ions are highly mixed valences of Co3+ and Co4+. The fraction of Co4+ almost keeps unchanged with the increase of x. The O-1s photoemission spectra show that there are lattice oxygen and chemical absorbed oxygen in all the samples. The substitution of Bi3+ by La3+ results in a change from metallic-like behavior to semiconductor behavior. This abnormal phenomenon means that La3+ plays a key role in effecting the electrical transport property of BLC-222. The O-Co covalence bond is strengthened by the increase of La3+, which results in the decrease of conductivity.展开更多

The major secondary influencing factors and the influencing tendency of various factor's levels for the dielectric properties of BST ceramics were obtained. The optimum formula for maximum dielectric constant (ε) and for minimum dielectric loss (tanδ) was obtained under the experimental conditions. The BST ceramics with optimum comprehensive properties was obtained by means of orthogonal design experiments, with the sintering temperature at 1200 ℃, the dielectric constant 5239, the dielectric loss 0.0097, withstand electric voltage over 6 MV·m^-1, capacitance temperature changing ence of various components on the providing the basis for preparation rate (△C/C) - 75.67%, and suited for Y5V character. The mechanism of the infludielectric properties of medium temperature sintering BST ceramics was studied, thus of multilayer capacitor ceramics and single-chip capacitor ceramics.展开更多
