Methods: Seventy-six patien...Objective: To investigate the effects of Xuezhikang capsule (XZK,血脂康胶囊) on blood lipids level, platelet activation and coagulation-fibrinolysis activity in patients with hyerlipidemia. Methods: Seventy-six patients of hyperlipidemia were randomly divided into two groups, the XZK group (n=38) treated with XZK 600mg, taken two times per day and the Simvastatin (SIM) group (n = 38) treated with SIM 20mg per day, with the treatment lasting 8 weeks for both groups. Levels of fasting serum lipids, including total cholesterol (TC), triglyceride (TG), high and low density lipoprotein cholesterol (HDL-C and LDL-C), plasma GMP-140, fibrinogen (FIB), tissue plasminogen activator (t-PA), plasminogen activator inhibitor type-1 (PAI-) and prothrombin time (PT) were all measured before and 8 weeks after treatment. Data were compared before and after treatment and also compared with those measured in 20 healthy subjects of control. Results: Before treantment the levels of TC, TG and LDL-C were obviously higher and HDL-C level was significantly lower in hyperlipidemia patients than those in healthy subjects (P<0.05 or P<0.01). After 4-8 weeks of XZK treatment, the levels of TC, TG, LDL-C and FIB and activities of GMP-140 and PAI-1 were obviously lowered (P<0. 05 or P<0. 01). But in the SIM group there was no obvious change in FIB (P>0.05), instead it showed obvious increase of HDL-C and decrease of TC and LDL-C after treatment (P<0.05 or P<0.01). Conclusion: XZK could inhibit platelet activity and improve coagulation-fibrinolysis function, besides its lipids lowering effect.展开更多

Blood samples were taken during the follicular and luteal phases o/preu treatment, and for Cyclofem group, immediately prior to the 3rd and gth injections and 1 and 3 weeks a/ter the 3rd and gth injections, for Ortho Novum group, blood samples were taken on the irst day o[.the 3rd and gth pill cycles and 1 and 3 weeks later in both cycles. For both groups after at least 3 months nonhormonal method of contraception, blood sampling was repeated at follicular and luteal phases of a normal mentrual cycle.Coagulation and librinolysis parameter were detected including hemoglobin,platelet count, prothrombin time, APTT, fibrinogen, factor Vll, [actor X,plasminogen, in PAl, AT Ill (functional and immunological assays) and protein C.In the Cyclolem group, hemoglobin, platelet count, fibrinogen and /Octor X were not changed. Factor Vll significantly reduced. Prothrombin time and APTT showed minor changes. Plasminogen and protein C decreased while t-- PAl and AT 11.1 increased. These changes showed a dynamic balance between coagulatioll and fibrinolysis. In Ortho---Novum 1/35 group, platelet count, jactor X and [ibrinogen increased and prothrombin time and APTT accelerated. In fibrinolysis and anticoagulation system, plasminogen increased as well as protein C, but AT Ill declined. Compared with the control group, the average levels ofβ-HCG, progesterone, E2 and PLG in the pregnancy maintenance group and the interrupted pregnancy group were significantly decreased, and the level of the interrupted pregnancy group was significantly lower than that of the pregnancy maintenance group. The levels of PC, D-D, TAT, F1+2 and PAI-1 in the pregnancy maintenance group and the interrupted pregnancy group were significantly higher than those in the control group, and the level of the interrupted pregnancy group was significantly higher than that of the pregnancy maintenance group. Methods: The clinical data of 82 cases of early endometrial carcinoma were retrospectively analyzed, and they were divided into control group (n=40) and observation group (n=42) according to the treatment plan. Patients in the control group were treated with open surgery, and the observation group received laparoscopic treatment. The levels of serum tumor markers, coagulation function and immune function indexes of the two groups were compared between before operation and 1 d after operation. Results: The levels of serum CA-125, HE4, PT, APTT, FIB, CD3+, CD4+, CD8+ and CD4+/CD8+in the two groups before treatment were not significantly different. After treatment, the levels of CA-125, HE4, PT, APTT, CD3+, CD4+and CD4+/CD8+ in the two groups were significantly lower than those before treatment in the same group, and the levels of CA-125, HE4, PT and APTT in the observation group were significantly lower than those in the control group, the levels of CD3+, CD4+ and CD4+/CD8+ in the observation group were significantly higher than those of the control group;After treatment, the levels of FIB in the two groups were significantly higher than that before treatment, and the level of observation group was significantly higher than that of the control group. Methods: A total of 80 cases in our hospital for treatment of recurrent ovarian cancer patients were selected as the research object, they were divided into chemotherapy group (n=35) and combined treatment group (n=45) according to whether or not to receive cellular immunotherapy, chemotherapy group received TC chemotherapy, combined therapy group were given DC-CIK cell immunotherapy combined with TC chemotherapy group, the two groups were treated with 21 d for a cycle, 3 cycles were treated;The changes of immune function, coagulation function and tumor stem cell markers were compared between the day of blood collection and the end of treatment for 7 d. Results: After the end of treatment for 7 d, the CD3+, CD3+CD4+, CD4+/CD8+, NK cell number of combined treatment group were significantly higher than that of blood collection day, the number of CD4+ CD25+ was significantly lower than that of blood collection day, The improvement of peripheral blood T lymphocyte subsets in the combined treatment group was better than that in the chemotherapy group;After the end of treatment for 7 d, the FIB levels of two groups were significantly decreased than those of the blood collection day, the difference was statistically significant;After the end of treatment for 7 d, the CD133 and DDX4 levels of two groups were significantly lower than that of the blood collection day, and the combined treatment group was significantly lower than the chemotherapy group, the difference were statistically significant. BACKGROUND Primary hepatic carcinoma(PHC)has an insidious onset and is usually diagnosed in the middle and late stages.Although transcatheter arterial chemoembolization(TACE)is the preferred option for treating middle...BACKGROUND Primary hepatic carcinoma(PHC)has an insidious onset and is usually diagnosed in the middle and late stages.Although transcatheter arterial chemoembolization(TACE)is the preferred option for treating middle-and advanced-stage PHC,it has limited efficacy in killing tumor cells and poor long-term efficacy.TACE plus percutaneous microwave coagulation therapy(PMCT)is more effective than interventional therapy alone and can improve survival time.However,there are few reports on the effects of TACE and PMCT on serum marker levels and the prognosis of patients with advanced PHC.AIM To investigate the effect of PMCT+TACE on serum tumor markers and the prognosis of middle-late PHC.METHODS This retrospective study included 150 patients with middle-late PHC admitted to Zhongshan People’s Hospital between March 2018 and February 2021.Patients were divided into a single group(treated with TACE,n=75)and a combined group(treated with TACE+PMCT,n=75).Before and after treatment,the clinical efficacy and serum tumor marker levels[carbohydrate antigen 19-9(CA19-9),alpha-fetoprotein(AFP),and carcinoembryonic antigen(CEA)]of both groups were observed.The 1-year survival rates and prognostic factors of the two groups were analyzed.RESULTS The combined group had 21 and 35 cases of complete remission(CR)and partial remission(PR),respectively.The single group had 13 and 25 cases of CR and PR,decreased,with the decrease in the combined group being more significant(P<0.05).The 1-year survival rate of the combined group(80.00%)was higher than that of the single group(60.00%)(P<0.05).The average survival time within 1 year in the combined group was 299.38±61.13 d,longer than that in the single group(214.41±72.97 d,P<0.05).COX analysis revealed that tumor diameter,tumor number,and the treatment method were prognostic factors for patients with middle-late PHC(P<0.05).CONCLUSION TACE+PMCT is effective in treating patients with mid-late PHC.It reduces the levels of tumor markers,prolongs survival,and improves prognosis.展开更多

The patients in the control group were treated with single western medicine, while the patients in the observation group were treated with enema treatment of traditional Chinese Medicine. The clinical therapeutic effects of the two groups were evaluated and compared. The blood coagulation indexes of the activated partial thromboplastin time (APTT), prothrombin time (PT), the plasma fibrinogen (Fib), the D dimer (D-D) of two groups patients who in the treatment were detected and compared. The serum tumor necrosis factor (TNF-α), interleukin-6 (IL-6), interleukin-8 (IL-8) levels of the patients in the two groups were measured and compared.Results: The clinical efficiencies of the observation group and the control group were 97% and 75%, the clinical efficiencies and the therapeutic effects of the observation group were better than those in the control group, there were statistically significant differences between the two groups. The plasma Fib levels and the plasma D-D levels after the treatment of the patients in the two groups were significantly lower than those before the treatment, the difference was statistically significant. The plasma Fib levels and the plasma D-D levels after the treatment of the patients in the observation group were lower than those in the control group, the difference was statistically significant. The serum inflammatory factors levels after the treatment of the patients in the two groups were significantly lower than those before the treatment, the difference was statistically significant. The serum inflammatory factors levels after the treatment of the patients in the observation group were lower than those in the control group, the difference is powerful and have statistically significant.Conclusion: The application of Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine in the treatment of UC can improve the therapeutic effect significantly, correct imbalance of the patients' coagulation dissolution function, reduce the degree of inflammatory reaction, which benefits to promote of the patients' rehabilitation, reduce the incidence of complications and improve the prognosis of patients.展开更多

Statistical analysis and comparison of two groups patients of four blood coagulation [prothrombin time (PT), thrombin time (TT), activated partial thromboplastin time (APTT), fibrinogen (FIB)], platelet count (PLT), protein C (PC) and fiber soluble system index [D dimer (D-D), fibrin degradation products (FDP) levels before and after blood transfusion of 1 d, 5 d'. Results:Before blood transfusion, there was no significant difference between the two groups. There was no significant difference in the level of the observed indexes in the control group before and after transfusion. 1 d after blood transfusion, compared with blood transfusion before and the control group at the same time , the observation group PT[(18.4±4.3) s], APTT[(42.9±7) s], TT[(21.4±4.8) s] were significantly prolonged, D-D[(282.2±115) g/L] and FDP[(6.3±2.1) mg/L] were significantly increased, and FIB[(2.9±1.3) g/L], PLT[(72.5±34.4) 109] and PC[(2.4±1.2) mg/L] levels were significantly decreased. 5 d after blood transfusion, compared with blood transfusion before and the control group at the same time ,the observation indexes showed no significant difference;5 D after blood transfusion compared with 1 D, the observation group PT[(14.8±1.7) s], APTT[(34.7±5.4) s], TT[(14.7±2.5) s] was significantly shortened, D-D[(151.8±62.4) g/L] and FDP[(3.7±1.2) mg/L] were significantly decreased, FIB[(3.7±0.8) g/L], PLT[(179±70.8) 109] and PC[(3.9±1.5) mg/L] levels were significantly higher.Conclusion:Large amount of blood transfusion has great influence on the coagulation function and fibrinolysis system in acute trauma patients. It is necessary to monitor coagulation status in time and avoid complications such as coagulation dysfunction, so as to improve the success rate of implementation of massive transfusion regimen.展开更多

Methods: A total of 39 patients with AMI who were admitted in our hospital from March, 2016 to November, 2016 were included in the study and served as the observation group. The peripheral venous blood before and after thrombolysis was collected. The plasma NT-proBNP level, related coagulation factors, and fibrinolysis indicators were detected. The cardiac function before treatment was evaluated. A total of 30 healthy individuals who came for physical examinations were served as the control group for contrastive analysis.Results:The plasma NT-proBNP, Fg, and D-D levels before thrombolysis in the observation group were significantly higher than those in the control group, while PT, APTT, and TT in the observation group were significantly shortened. The plasma NT-proBNP and D-D levels 2-48 h after thrombolysis in the observation group were significantly elevated first and reduced later and reached the peak 4 h after treatment, while PT, APTT, and TT were significantly extended first and shortened later. The plasma Fg level was significantly reduced first and elevated later and reached the minimum 4 h after treatment. During the treatment process, in the observation group, 2 had mucocutaneous hemorrhage, 3 had nasal hemorrhage, and 1 had gingival bleeding, but no gastrointestinal bleeding or cerebral hemorrhage occurred.Conclusions:The thrombolytic therapy can effectively reduce the coagulation activity in patients with AMI, strengthen the fibrinolysis activity, and improve the cardiac function.展开更多

After treatment, the levels of CA-125, HE4, PT, APTT, CD3+, CD4+and CD4+/CD8+ in the two groups were significantly lower than those before treatment in the same group, and the levels of CA-125, HE4, PT and APTT in the observation group were significantly lower than those in the control group, the levels of CD3+, CD4+ and CD4+/CD8+ in the observation group were significantly higher than those of the control group;After treatment, the levels of FIB in the two groups were significantly higher than that before treatment, and the level of observation group was significantly higher than that of the control group. Conclusion: Compared with open surgery for early endometrial cancer, laparoscopic surgery can effectively reduce the level of serum tumor markers and the inhibition of immune function, however, it has great influence on coagulation function, and effective measures should be taken to prevent the formation of thrombotic diseases.
文摘Objective: To investigate the effects of immunotherapy with dendritic cells (DC)-cytokine induced killer cells (CIK) combined with chemotherapy on immune function, coagulation function and tumor stem cell markers in patients with recurrent ovarian cancer. Methods: A total of 80 cases in our hospital for treatment of recurrent ovarian cancer patients were selected as the research object, they were divided into chemotherapy group (n=35) and combined treatment group (n=45) according to whether or not to receive cellular immunotherapy, chemotherapy group received TC chemotherapy, combined therapy group were given DC-CIK cell immunotherapy combined with TC chemotherapy group, the two groups were treated with 21 d for a cycle, 3 cycles were treated;The changes of immune function, coagulation function and tumor stem cell markers were compared between the day of blood collection and the end of treatment for 7 d. Results: After the end of treatment for 7 d, the CD3+, CD3+CD4+, CD4+/CD8+, NK cell number of combined treatment group were significantly higher than that of blood collection day, the number of CD4+ CD25+ was significantly lower than that of blood collection day, The improvement of peripheral blood T lymphocyte subsets in the combined treatment group was better than that in the chemotherapy group;After the end of treatment for 7 d, the FIB levels of two groups were significantly decreased than those of the blood collection day, the difference was statistically significant;After the end of treatment for 7 d, the CD133 and DDX4 levels of two groups were significantly lower than that of the blood collection day, and the combined treatment group was significantly lower than the chemotherapy group, the difference were statistically significant. Results: DC-CIK cell immunotherapy combined with chemotherapy can significantly improve the immunity and the level of FIB of patients with recurrent ovarian cancer, and regulating the level of serum tumor stem cell markers in patients, it has positive significance to improve the prognosis of patients, and is worthy of popularization and application in clinic.
文摘BACKGROUND Bones are one of the most common target organs for cancer metastasis.Early evaluation of bone metastasis(BM)status is clinically significant.Cancer patients often experience a hypercoagulable state.AIM To evaluate the correlation between coagulation indicators and the burden of BM in gastric cancer(GC).METHODS We conducted a single-center retrospective study and enrolled 454 patients.Clinical information including routine blood examination and coagulation markers were collected before any treatment.Patients were grouped according to the status of BM.Receiver operating characteristic curves were used to assess diagnostic performance and determine the optimal cutoff values of the above indicators.Cutoff values,sensitivity and specificity were based on the maximum Youden index.Univariate and multivariate logistic regression analyses were used to evaluate the relationships between biomarkers and BM.RESULTS Of the 454 enrolled patients,191 patients were diagnosed with BM.The receiver operating characteristic curve analysis suggested that prothrombin time(PT)Wang X et al.Coagulation indicators predict bone metastasis WJGO https://www.wjgnet.com 1254 July 15,2023 Volume 15 Issue 7[cutoff:13.25;sensitivity:0.651;specificity:0.709;area under receiver operating characteristic curve(AUC)=0.738],activated partial thromboplastin time(aPTT)(cutoff:35.15;sensitivity:0.640;specificity:0.640;AUC=0.678)and fibrin degradation products(FDP)(cutoff:2.75;sensitivity:0.668;specificity:0.801;AUC=0.768)act as novel predictors for BM.Based on multivariate logistic regression analysis,the results showed the independent correlation between PT[odds ratio(OR):3.16;95%confidence interval(CI):1.612-6.194;P=0.001],aPTT(OR:2.234;95%CI:1.157-4.313;P=0.017)and FDP(OR:3.17;95%CI:1.637-6.139;P=0.001)and BM in patients with GC.Moreover,age,carcinoembryonic antigen,erythrocyte and globulin were found to be significantly associated with BM.CONCLUSION Coagulation markers,namely PT,aPTT and FDP,might be potential predictors for screening BM in patients with GC.
文摘BACKGROUND Primary hepatic carcinoma(PHC)has an insidious onset and is usually diagnosed in the middle and late stages.Although transcatheter arterial chemoembolization(TACE)is the preferred option for treating middle-and advanced-stage PHC,it has limited efficacy in killing tumor cells and poor long-term efficacy.TACE plus percutaneous microwave coagulation therapy(PMCT)is more effective than interventional therapy alone and can improve survival time.However,there are few reports on the effects of TACE and PMCT on serum marker levels and the prognosis of patients with advanced PHC.AIM To investigate the effect of PMCT+TACE on serum tumor markers and the prognosis of middle-late PHC.METHODS This retrospective study included 150 patients with middle-late PHC admitted to Zhongshan People’s Hospital between March 2018 and February 2021.Patients were divided into a single group(treated with TACE,n=75)and a combined group(treated with TACE+PMCT,n=75).Before and after treatment,the clinical efficacy and serum tumor marker levels[carbohydrate antigen 19-9(CA19-9),alpha-fetoprotein(AFP),and carcinoembryonic antigen(CEA)]of both groups were observed.The 1-year survival rates and prognostic factors of the two groups were analyzed.RESULTS The combined group had 21 and 35 cases of complete remission(CR)and partial remission(PR),respectively.The single group had 13 and 25 cases of CR and PR,decreased,with the decrease in the combined group being more significant(P<0.05).The 1-year survival rate of the combined group(80.00%)was higher than that of the single group(60.00%)(P<0.05).The average survival time within 1 year in the combined group was 299.38±61.13 d,longer than that in the single group(214.41±72.97 d,P<0.05).COX analysis revealed that tumor diameter,tumor number,and the treatment method were prognostic factors for patients with middle-late PHC(P<0.05).CONCLUSION TACE+PMCT is effective in treating patients with mid-late PHC.It reduces the levels of tumor markers,prolongs survival,and improves prognosis.

文摘Objective:To analyze the therapeutic effects of Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine on ulcerative colitis (UC) and its effects on coagulation function and inflammatory factors.Methods: 220 cases of patients with UC were selected as the research subjects and randomly divided into the observation group and the control group, 110 cases were included into each group. The patients in the control group were treated with single western medicine, while the patients in the observation group were treated with enema treatment of traditional Chinese Medicine. The clinical therapeutic effects of the two groups were evaluated and compared. The blood coagulation indexes of the activated partial thromboplastin time (APTT), prothrombin time (PT), the plasma fibrinogen (Fib), the D dimer (D-D) of two groups patients who in the treatment were detected and compared. The serum tumor necrosis factor (TNF-α), interleukin-6 (IL-6), interleukin-8 (IL-8) levels of the patients in the two groups were measured and compared.Results: The clinical efficiencies of the observation group and the control group were 97% and 75%, the clinical efficiencies and the therapeutic effects of the observation group were better than those in the control group, there were statistically significant differences between the two groups. The plasma Fib levels and the plasma D-D levels after the treatment of the patients in the two groups were significantly lower than those before the treatment, the difference was statistically significant. The plasma Fib levels and the plasma D-D levels after the treatment of the patients in the observation group were lower than those in the control group, the difference was statistically significant. The serum inflammatory factors levels after the treatment of the patients in the two groups were significantly lower than those before the treatment, the difference was statistically significant. The serum inflammatory factors levels after the treatment of the patients in the observation group were lower than those in the control group, the difference is powerful and have statistically significant.Conclusion: The application of Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine in the treatment of UC can improve the therapeutic effect significantly, correct imbalance of the patients' coagulation dissolution function, reduce the degree of inflammatory reaction, which benefits to promote of the patients' rehabilitation, reduce the incidence of complications and improve the prognosis of patients.
文摘Objective:To investigate the effect of a large number of blood transfusion on coagulation function and fibrinolytic system in patients with acute trauma.Methods:A total of 86 cases of traumatic blood transfusion emergency and hospitalized patients during January 2014 to January 2016 in our hospital, divided into two groups according to the early blood transfusion, acute trauma patients need a lot of blood transfusion for the observation group (47 cases), trauma patients need a small amount of blood transfusion as the control group (39 cases). Statistical analysis and comparison of two groups patients of four blood coagulation [prothrombin time (PT), thrombin time (TT), activated partial thromboplastin time (APTT), fibrinogen (FIB)], platelet count (PLT), protein C (PC) and fiber soluble system index [D dimer (D-D), fibrin degradation products (FDP) levels before and after blood transfusion of 1 d, 5 d'. Results:Before blood transfusion, there was no significant difference between the two groups. There was no significant difference in the level of the observed indexes in the control group before and after transfusion. 1 d after blood transfusion, compared with blood transfusion before and the control group at the same time , the observation group PT[(18.4±4.3) s], APTT[(42.9±7) s], TT[(21.4±4.8) s] were significantly prolonged, D-D[(282.2±115) g/L] and FDP[(6.3±2.1) mg/L] were significantly increased, and FIB[(2.9±1.3) g/L], PLT[(72.5±34.4) 109] and PC[(2.4±1.2) mg/L] levels were significantly decreased. 5 d after blood transfusion, compared with blood transfusion before and the control group at the same time ,the observation indexes showed no significant difference;5 D after blood transfusion compared with 1 D, the observation group PT[(14.8±1.7) s], APTT[(34.7±5.4) s], TT[(14.7±2.5) s] was significantly shortened, D-D[(151.8±62.4) g/L] and FDP[(3.7±1.2) mg/L] were significantly decreased, FIB[(3.7±0.8) g/L], PLT[(179±70.8) 109] and PC[(3.9±1.5) mg/L] levels were significantly higher.Conclusion:Large amount of blood transfusion has great influence on the coagulation function and fibrinolysis system in acute trauma patients. It is necessary to monitor coagulation status in time and avoid complications such as coagulation dysfunction, so as to improve the success rate of implementation of massive transfusion regimen.
文摘Objective:To observe the effect of urokinase thrombolysis on the cardiac function, coagulation, and fibrinolytic system in patients with acute myocardial infarction (AMI). Methods: A total of 39 patients with AMI who were admitted in our hospital from March, 2016 to November, 2016 were included in the study and served as the observation group. The peripheral venous blood before and after thrombolysis was collected. The plasma NT-proBNP level, related coagulation factors, and fibrinolysis indicators were detected. The cardiac function before treatment was evaluated. A total of 30 healthy individuals who came for physical examinations were served as the control group for contrastive analysis.Results:The plasma NT-proBNP, Fg, and D-D levels before thrombolysis in the observation group were significantly higher than those in the control group, while PT, APTT, and TT in the observation group were significantly shortened. The plasma NT-proBNP and D-D levels 2-48 h after thrombolysis in the observation group were significantly elevated first and reduced later and reached the peak 4 h after treatment, while PT, APTT, and TT were significantly extended first and shortened later. The plasma Fg level was significantly reduced first and elevated later and reached the minimum 4 h after treatment. During the treatment process, in the observation group, 2 had mucocutaneous hemorrhage, 3 had nasal hemorrhage, and 1 had gingival bleeding, but no gastrointestinal bleeding or cerebral hemorrhage occurred.Conclusions:The thrombolytic therapy can effectively reduce the coagulation activity in patients with AMI, strengthen the fibrinolysis activity, and improve the cardiac function.
