The employment quality of college graduates in China is a topic of widespread concern.This paper uses authoritative data sources,including the China Labor Statistics Yearbook,China Statistical Yearbook,and data from p...The employment quality of college graduates in China is a topic of widespread concern.This paper uses authoritative data sources,including the China Labor Statistics Yearbook,China Statistical Yearbook,and data from provincial statistical bureaus,to examine the employment quality of college graduates in different regions of China.Specifically,the paper explores three aspects:salary level,job intensity,and job stability.The research results indicate that undergraduate graduates experience lower job intensity than college counterparts.However,while North,East,and South China show high salary levels and job stability,issues such as high work intensity,high cost of living,and small living space exist.Therefore,this paper offers policy development recommendations to promote job market reform and improve employment quality.These recommendations aim to address the challenges faced by college graduates in various regions of China and to promote the stability of the country’s social and economic development.By examining the employment quality of college graduates in different regions of China,this paper provides valuable insights for scholars,policymakers,and practitioners.展开更多

The employment post cannot satisfy the need of the talented person's production. The employing situation is getting worse gradually. How to find the realistic reasons and seek out a feasible way, and how to get rid of the current employment difficulties will become one of our major tasks. Through the investigation and analysis, we find out the mismatch on one-sided enrollment expansion of higher education with the economic system and the model of talent training. Chinese college graduates have faced increasing labor market com-petition since the expansion of tertiary education.Given rigid market demand,graduates with realistic earnings expectations may experience a more effici...Chinese college graduates have faced increasing labor market com-petition since the expansion of tertiary education.Given rigid market demand,graduates with realistic earnings expectations may experience a more efficient job search.Using the 2008 MYCOS College Graduate Employment Survey,this study finds that a 1000 yuan reduction in a graduate’s reservation wage can significantly increase the probability of finding a job by 66%and increase the likelihood of being employed six months after graduation by 92%.In addition,the gap between the reservation wage and the market wage has a positive impact.By slightly adjusting earnings expectations,college graduates can significantly improve job search efficiency.Market wages should be seen as reference points when adjusting income expectations.展开更多

文摘Employment is the principal source of income.The employment of graduates is associated with the satisfaction and sense of gain experienced by thousands of families.In recent years,the number of art students in colleges and universities has grown steadily.However,influenced by various factors,the employment situation of art graduates has become increasingly severe.In this paper,the employment situation and difficulties faced by art graduates are analyzed,and countermeasures for high-quality and full employment are put forward in view of the situation and employment problem faced by art graduates.

文摘In the face of the fierce environment of employment,the employment of college students is a hot topic in all walks of life.The concept of career planning plays an important role in promoting the employability of college students.The career planning course for college students is a course generally offered by colleges and universities,which can help college students to better determine their employment goal and direction,and lay a solid foundation for the improvement of the employment rate of Chinese college students.This paper analyzes the reasons for the difficult employment of college graduates,puts forward the application value of career planning education in the improvement of college students’employability,points out the reasons for the difficulties of college students’employment,and makes targeted measures to improve the employability of college students under the concept of college students’career planning.

文摘Chinese college graduates have faced increasing labor market com-petition since the expansion of tertiary education.Given rigid market demand,graduates with realistic earnings expectations may experience a more efficient job search.Using the 2008 MYCOS College Graduate Employment Survey,this study finds that a 1000 yuan reduction in a graduate’s reservation wage can significantly increase the probability of finding a job by 66%and increase the likelihood of being employed six months after graduation by 92%.In addition,the gap between the reservation wage and the market wage has a positive impact.By slightly adjusting earnings expectations,college graduates can significantly improve job search efficiency.Market wages should be seen as reference points when adjusting income expectations.
