Double weight determination method for experts of complex multi-attribute large-group decision-making in interval-valued intuitionistic fuzzy environment

The systematic clustering analysis based weight determination methods are suitable for the experts of complex multiattribute large-group decision-making(CMALGDM) in intervalvalued intuitionistic fuzzy environment. However, these methods mainly have two shortcomings: they do not consider the consistency of the experts in each aggregation; the aggregation weights are often determined simply by the "majority principle", and neglect the quantity of information provided by the holistic aggregation,leading to decision biases. Hence, a double weight determination method for experts is proposed to solve these problems. As for the first shortcoming, a mathematical programming model is used to solve for the optimal expert weights within each aggregation,ensuring consistency in the overall preferences of the aggregations. As for the second shortcoming, we propose a modification of the aggregation weights based on the information entropy, which fully considers both the number of experts and the amount of information provided by the holistic aggregation. With the proposed method, the final expert weights are determined more rigorously and objectively. The feasibility of the proposed method is investigated through an illustrative example.

On new classes of strongly Janowski type functions of complex order

We investigate some new subclasses of analytic functions of Janowski type of complex order.We also study inclusion properties,distortion theorems,coefficient bounds and radius of convexity of the functions.Moreover,analytic properties of these classes under certain integral operator are also discussed.Our findings are more comprehensive than the existing results in the literature.

Ultra-deep Removal of Metal Ions from Coal Tar by Complexation:Experimental Studies and Density Functional Theory Simulations

As one of the important aspects of upgrading coal tar,the ultra-deep removal of metal ions via the complexation method was investigated by screening four complexing agents and performing density functional theory(DFT)simulations.Analysis of the compositions and contents of the metallic compounds in the coal tar revealed that the main components were iron and calcium naphthenates.Direct filtration reduced the mechanical impurity content from 0.24%to 0.0752%,indicating that most of the large particles could be easily removed.Among the four complexing agents,namely,acetic acid,oxalic acid,citric acid,and ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid,oxalic acid exhibited the best demetallization performance.The DFT simulations suggested that the high performance of oxalic acid originated from its 1:1 coordination mode,rigid dicarboxyl structure,and greater binding energy.

QUASIPERIODICITY OF TRANSCENDENTAL MEROMORPHIC FUNCTIONS

This paper is devoted to considering the quasiperiodicity of complex differential polynomials,complex difference polynomials and complex delay-differential polynomials of certain types,and to studying the similarities and differences of quasiperiodicity compared to the corresponding properties of periodicity.

Target layer state estimation in multi-layer complex dynamical networks considering nonlinear node dynamics

In many engineering networks, only a part of target state variables are required to be estimated.On the other hand,multi-layer complex network exists widely in practical situations.In this paper, the state estimation of target state variables in multi-layer complex dynamical networks with nonlinear node dynamics is studied.A suitable functional state observer is constructed with the limited measurement.The parameters of the designed functional observer are obtained from the algebraic method and the stability of the functional observer is proven by the Lyapunov theorem.Some necessary conditions that need to be satisfied for the design of the functional state observer are obtained.Different from previous studies, in the multi-layer complex dynamical network with nonlinear node dynamics, the proposed method can estimate the state of target variables on some layers directly instead of estimating all the individual states.Thus, it can greatly reduce the placement of observers and computational cost.Numerical simulations with the three-layer complex dynamical network composed of three-dimensional nonlinear dynamical nodes are developed to verify the effectiveness of the method.

Interval-Valued Neutrosophic Soft Expert Set from Real Space to Complex Space

A fuzzy system is a novel computing technique that accesses uncertain information by fuzzy representation.In the decision-making process,fuzzy system and soft computing are effective tools that are tolerant to imprecision,uncertainty,and partial truths.Evolutionary fuzzy systems have been developed with the appearance of interval fuzzy,dual fuzzy,hesitant fuzzy,neutrosophic,plithogenic representations,etc.Moreover,by capturing compound features and convey multi-dimensional data,complex numbers are utilized to generalize fuzzy and neutrosophic fuzzy sets.In this paper,a representation of neutrosophic soft expert systems based on the real and complex numbers in the interval form is proposed.The interval-valued neutrosophic soft expert set(I-VNSES)is defined,and the interval-valued complex neutrosophic soft expert set(I-VCNSES)is formally generalized from the concept of IVNSES.For both I-VNSES and I-VCNSES,we introduce the relevant basic theoretical operations and study their properties.Based on these new concepts,a generalized algorithm is proposed and applied to handle the imbedded indeterminacy in the two-dimensional interval data.The proposed algorithm is tested on the economic factors that affected the Malaysian economy in 2020 to see which ones are the most influential.Eventually,a comparison of three current approaches is used to back up this study.

Improved Discrete Interval-Valued Stress-Strength Interference Model Based on Extended Universal Generating Function

In practical engineering,sometimes the probability density functions( PDFs) of stress and strength can not be exactly determined,or only limited experiment data are available. In these cases,the traditional stress-strength interference( SSI) model based on classical probabilistic approach can not be used to evaluate reliabilities of components. To solve this issue, the traditional universal generating function( UGF) is introduced and then it is extended to represent the discrete interval-valued random variable.Based on the extended UGF,an improved discrete interval-valued SSI model is proposed, which has higher calculation precision compared with the existing methods. Finally,an illustrative case is given to demonstrate the validity of the proposed model.

On AP-Henstock Integrals of Interval-Valued Functions and Fuzzy-Number-Valued Functions

In 2000, Wu and Gong [1] introduced the thought of the Henstock integrals of inter-valvalued functions and fuzzy-number-valued functions and obtained a number of their properties. The aim of this paper is to introduce the thought of the AP- Henstock integrals of interval-valued functions and fuzzy-number-valued functions which are extensions of [1] and investigate a number of their properties.

A Comparative Analysis of Syntactic Complexity in Applied Linguistics Abstracts Written by Chinese Novice Writers and Native English Advanced Writers

The rhetorical structure of abstracts has been a widely discussed topic, as it can greatly enhance the abstract writing skills of second-language writers. This study aims to provide guidance on the syntactic features that L2 learners can employ, as well as suggest which features they should focus on in English academic writing. To achieve this, all samples were analyzed for rhetorical moves using Hyland’s five-rhetorical move model. Additionally, all sentences were evaluated for syntactic complexity, considering measures such as global, clausal and phrasal complexity. The findings reveal that expert writers exhibit a more balanced use of syntactic complexity across moves, effectively fulfilling the rhetorical objectives of abstracts. On the other hand, MA students tend to rely excessively on embedded structures and dependent clauses in an attempt to increase complexity. The implications of these findings for academic writing research, pedagogy, and assessment are thoroughly discussed.

Performance study of a complex thermal barrier functional coating with an electro-spark deposited burn-resistant layer

It is necessary to develop burn-resistant and thermal barrier complex functional coatings on the titanium alloys surface due to the poor high temperature performance for titanium materials and the problem of“titanium fire”which is easily happened.MTU Aero Engines GmbH has developed a complex functional coating which has great performance of burn resistant and sealing,the coatings has already been applied on compressor blades and casing for aero-engines and showed great performance.In this study,the complex functional coating which is composed of an electro-spark deposited amorphous Ti40Zr25Ni3 burn-resistant layer and a high-energy plasma spraying prepared YSZ thermal barrier layer was prepared on titanium alloys surface.Then the heat insulation ability,burn resistant performance and the bonding strength were investigated.The experimental results showed that the interface between the coating and the matrix was typical metallurgical bonded,and the average bonding strength was 36.335 MPa;when the temperature of the flame on the one side of the specimen reached 600℃,the average insulated temperature of the coating samples was 70.67℃;when the flame temperature was 350℃,the titanium samples without the complex functional coatings were burned,while the samples with the coating showed great performance of burn resistant even when the temperature was 750℃.This indicates that the new functional coating has good heat-insulating and burn-resistant performance.

Locking compression plate+T-type steel plate for postoperative weight bearing and functional recovery in complex tibial plateau fractures

Complex tibial plateau fractures can seriously affect quality of life and physical and mental health of patients.The anatomical relationship between the proximal tibial bone and soft tissue is complex,resulting in different types of tibial plateau fractures.Violent trauma can lead to displaced fracture,serious soft tissue injury,and potentially,dislocation of the knee joint.Therefore,tibial plateau fractures are extremely unstable.AIM To assess the use of locking compression plate(LCP)+T-type steel plate for postoperative weight bearing and functional recovery of complex tibial plateau fractures.METHODS Ninety-seven patients with complex tibial plateau fractures who underwent surgery at our hospital were selected for retrospective study.Forty-nine patients had been treated with LCP+T-type steel plate limited internal fixation(study group),and 48 patients with bilateral ordinary steel plate support(control group).The operation process index,postoperative rehabilitation related index,Rasmussen score of the knee joint,tibial plateau varus angle(TPA),tibial plateau retroversion angle(PA),and surgical complications of the two groups were compared.RESULTS The operation time and intraoperative bone graft volume in the study group were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).There were no significant differences in surgical bleeding,anterior external incision length,postoperative drainage,hospital stay duration,and fracture healing time between the groups(P>0.05).There was no significant difference in the TPA and PA angle between the groups immediately and 18 mo after surgery(P>0.05).At 12 mo after surgery,the Rasmussen scale score was higher in the study group than in the control group(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the Rasmussen scale score at 18 mo after surgery,and the radiology score at 12 and 18 mo after surgery,between the two groups(P>0.05).The postoperative complication rate in the study group(3.77%)was lower than that in the control group(15.09%;P<0.05).CONCLUSION LCP+T-type steel plate internal fixation has advantages in terms of minimizing trauma and enabling early postoperative functional exercise,promoting functional recovery and lower limb weight-bearing,and reducing postoperative complications.

Preparation and Characterization of Carboxyl Functionalized Fluorescent Mesoporous Silica Nanoparticles Containing 8-Hydroxyquinolinate Zinc Complexes

Fluorescent mesoporous silica nanoparticles functionalized with carboxyl group(Znq-CMSCOOH) were successfully synthesized by in situ formation route of 8-hydroxyquinolinate zinc complexes in channels of mesoporous silica nanoparticles and post-grafting of carboxyl group on the surface. Moreover,the particle size and structural properties of Znq-CMS-COOH were characterized by transmission electron microscopy(TEM),field emission scanning electron microscopy(FE-SEM),dynamic light scattering(DLS),Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy(FT-IR),UV-vis spectrometer, fluorescence spectrometer and nitrogen adsorption-desorption measurements. The obtained results suggest that the Znq-CMS-COOH presents the uniform spherical shape with the mean diameter of about 85 nm and the obvious wormhole arrangement mesoporous. In addition, the Znq-CMS-COOH possesses green fluorescence with the emission peaks at 495 nm. So the Znq-CMS-COOH, which is beneficial to further modification and tracing, might be a great potential carrier for applying in drug delivery system in the future.

Modified Function Projective Synchronization of Complex Networks with Multiple Proportional Delays

This paper deals with the modified function projective synchronization problem for general complex networks with multiple proportional delays. With the existence of multiple proportional delays, an effective hybrid feedback control is designed to attain modified function projective synchronization of networks. Numerical example is provided to show the effectiveness of our result.

Functional Positioning of Pastoral Complex in the Context of Rural Revitalization Strategy:A Case Study of Pavlo Eco Valley in Gaoan City of Jiangxi Province

As a new form of industry proposed in the context of the rural revitalization strategy,the pastoral complex has sprung up under the support of various policies.However,there are also various problems in the development of pastoral complex.The functional positioning of pastoral complex is not proper and there is serious homogeneous problem.These greatly restrict the development of pastoral complex.This study,taking the rural revitalization strategy as the background,analyzed the functional positioning of pastoral complex from production,ecology,and living.Besides,taking Pavlo Eco Valley in Gaoan City of Jiangxi Province as an example,it studied its functional positioning and came up with pertinent recommendations for its further development.

Resolution of Grandi’s Paradox as Extended to Complex Valued Functions

Grandi’s paradox, which was posed for a real function of the form 1/(1+ x), has been resolved and extended to complex valued functions. Resolution of this approximately three-hundred-year-old paradox is accomplished by the use of a consistent truncation approach that can be applied to all the series expansions of Grandi-type functions. Furthermore, a new technique for improving the convergence characteristics of power series with alternating signs is introduced. The technique works by successively averaging a series at different orders of truncation. A sound theoretical justification of the successive averaging method is demonstrated by two different series expansions of the function 1/(1+ ex ) . Grandi-type complex valued functions such as 1/(i + x) are expressed as consistently-truncated and convergence-improved forms and Fagnano’s formula is established from the series expansions of these functions. A Grandi-type general complex valued function is introduced and expanded to a consistently truncated and successively averaged series. Finally, an unorthodox application of the successive averaging method to polynomials is presented.

Solving the Interval-Valued Linear Fractional Programming Problem

This paper introduces an interval valued linear fractional programming problem (IVLFP). An IVLFP is a linear frac-tional programming problem with interval coefficients in the objective function. It is proved that we can convert an IVLFP to an optimization problem with interval valued objective function which its bounds are linear fractional functions. Also there is a discussion for the solutions of this kind of optimization problem.

Density Functional Theory Study on La Complex with Schiff-base as Building Block

Quantum density functional theory (DFT) results are reported for the building block [LaL1(NO3)]– of La complex [LaL1(NO3)]NO3?5H2O (L1 = (CH3)2CHCH2CH(NCHC4H3O)COO–). The structure was optimized and the calculation results show that the lanthanum ion is coordinated by one nitrogen atom and three oxygen atoms of L1 and two oxygen atoms of nitrate ion. The bond length of La?N is 0.2637 nm and the average length of La?O is 0.2526 nm, which are consistent with the literatures. In addition, the stabilities, electronic structural characteristics and IR spectra of the complex have been analyzed, which describe the coordination of lanthanum ion with other atoms in detail.

Function of Rural Settlement Complex Ecosystem in Mountain Area:A Case Study of Raosi Village of Zuogong County,Tibet

Using energy analysis,the quantifying evaluation and study method on production,living and ecology functions and their sustainability of rural settlement ecosystem in mountain area is established with these energy index such as export of labor and products,export of water resource,internal energy reserve,energy consumption for human living,net energy of ecosystem function and net internal reserve.Taking rural settlement Raosi Village in Hengduan Mountains as a case study,and on the basis of the synthetic research into the ecological process of the complex ecosystem,the study shows that energy costs of production,human living and ecology functions are separately taking 1.36%,13.59% and 85.05% of the gross ecosystem functions,and the exertions of production and human living functions are close to a high-point state on the present using level of energy in the settlement.The study also shows that the most important function of a rural settlement in mountain area is its ecological rather productive function.

A NEW TYPE OF CROWN FUNCTIONALIZED POLYSILOXANE AND ITS PLATINUM COMPLEX

A new type of crown functionalized polysiloxane, in which the crown moieties were incorporated into main chain, and its platinum complex were synthesized. The polysiloxane was synthesized from 3, 16-dihydroxy-1- thia - 5, 8, 11, 14- tetraoxacycloheptadecane via etheritication with ω-chloroundecene, followed by hydrosilylation with triethoxysilane, cohydrolysis with D4, sequentially. Treating the polysiloxane with potassium cholroplatinite, the title complex was obtained. It was found that the platinum complex exhibited high catalytic activity in the hydrosilylation of olefins with triethoxysilane.
