Methods: Control group (n=116) was given HCH conventional therapy, and the treated group ...Objective:To assess the efficacy and safety of compound Salvia pellet (CSP) in treating hypertensive cerebral hemorrhage (HCH). Methods: Control group (n=116) was given HCH conventional therapy, and the treated group (n=118) given the same conventional therapy plus CSP 10 pills through sublingual sucking/6 hrs, the efficacy was compared. Results: (1) The 3rd day after admission CT monitoring showed both the volume of hematoma and hematoma plus edema in the treated group were smaller than those in the control group, the difference was significant (P<0.05); comparison between 14th day and 28th day after admission showed that the difference was significant (P<0.01). (2) The 14th day, 28th day and 3 months after admission, regarding the Chinese stroke scale (CSS), activity of daily living (ADD and modified Barthol index (Bl), the treated group was better than that of control group, the difference was significant (P<0.01). (3) The incidence of brain-heart syndrome reduced as time went by in both groups, but that of the treated group lowered more than that of control group, the difference being significant (P<0.05, or P< 0.01). Conclusion: CSP in treating HCH patients could cease the expansion of cerebral hematoma in the early phase, and accelerate the absorption of cerebral hematoma, improve the cerebral blood flow, alleviate cerebral edema, lower the disability, and elevate the quality of life. Besides, CSP also could prevent and treat brain-heart syndrome. CSP is cheap, convenient in administration, effective and safe.展开更多

Purpose: To study the long-term efficacy of intravitreal ranibizumab injection combined with in-travenous compound salvia injection drip in the treatment of patients with macular edema sec-ondary to branch retinal vei...Purpose: To study the long-term efficacy of intravitreal ranibizumab injection combined with in-travenous compound salvia injection drip in the treatment of patients with macular edema sec-ondary to branch retinal vein occlusion(BRVO). Methods: Sixty-five patients of branch retinal vein occlusion with macular edema were analyzed retrospectively. Thirty-seven patients in the treat-ment group were treated with ranibizumab injection combined with intravenous compound salvia injection drip, twenty-eight patients in the control group were treated with ranibizumab injection only. All patients were recorded and analyzed changes of clinical efficacy after 3 months, 6 months after a course of treatment of 6 months. Results: During 3 months after 6 months’ treatment, there were 5 patients having recurrence in the treatment group, while there were 9 in control group, the rate of recurrence between the two groups had significant difference (P < 0.05);during 3 - 6 months after a course of treatment, there were 2 patients having recurrence in the treatment group, while there were 4 in control group, the rate of recurrence between the two groups had significant difference (P < 0.05);however, the treatment group’s BCVA was better than control group, and the difference between the two groups had significance (P < 0.05). Conclusion: Ranibizumab injection combined with intravenous compound salvia injection drip could effectively reduce the impossibility of recurrence, improve the visual activity and bring better therapeutic efficacy in patients with macular edema secondary to branch retinal vein occlusion. The present study was to investigate changes of free radicals in the whole rat liver, changes of ATP levels of hepatic cells, ultrastructural changes in hepatic tissue during ischemia and reperfusion in rats and the ...The present study was to investigate changes of free radicals in the whole rat liver, changes of ATP levels of hepatic cells, ultrastructural changes in hepatic tissue during ischemia and reperfusion in rats and the effects of ligustrazine and salvia compound. The results indicated that : 1 ) the free radical levels increased by 8. 3-fold and 9.0-fold in the groups with 30 and 60 min ischemia after 40 min reperfusion, as compared with the group with ischemia only (P<0.01, P<0.01, respectively). 2) The levels of ATP returned to normal in the group with 30 min ischemia after reperfusion for 40 min and 3 d , remained low in the group with 90 min ischemia and fell again after a mild increase in the group with 60 min ischemia. 3) The hepatic and endothelial cell damage after ischemia became more severe after reperfusion, as revealed by electron microscopy. The presenet study also showed that ligustrazine and salvia compound have protective effects against reperfusion injury. They can be used to scavenge free radicals, improve hepatic microcirculation and alleviate hepatic and endothelial cell damage.展开更多
Platelets are fragments of cytoplasm that are released from the mature megakaryocyte of the bone marrow.The main function of platelets is coagulation and hemostasis.Platelets play a central role in formation of pathol...Platelets are fragments of cytoplasm that are released from the mature megakaryocyte of the bone marrow.The main function of platelets is coagulation and hemostasis.Platelets play a central role in formation of pathological thrombosis.Many ischemic diseases are caused by excessive activa.tion of platelets,which can lead to thrombosis and death.Salvia miltiorrhiza Bunge,the dry roots and rhizomes of the Salvia miltiorrhiza plants,includes some water-soluble compounds,which play positive effects on diverse diseases such as neurodegenerative diseases,diabetic complications or cardiovas.cular diseases.In this paper,the components of the water-soluble in Salvia miltiorrhiza,as well as the applications in thrombotic diseases are summarized.The results show that water-soluble compounds include salvianolic acid A,salvianolic acid B,protocatechuic aldehyde,Danshensu,etc.The water-soluble compounds are applied to ischemic stroke,myocardial infarction and other diseases caused by thrombus.We also discussed the mechanisms of water-soluble compounds on the platelets based on our research results and the data obtained from references.The results indicate that water soluble compounds in Salvia miltiorrhiza play the antiplatelet and antithrombotic effects via different mechanisms,for example,salvianolic acid A inhibits platelet aggregation without promoting bleeding by increasing cAMP,inhibiting phosphoinositide 3-kinase(PI3K) and affecting GPCRs(G protein-coupled receptors) signaling path.ways;salvianolic acid B inhibit platelets as a P2Y12 antagonist and PDE inhibitor;Danshensu inhibits platelet activity may be related to inhibition of calcium influx.In conclusion,thrombotic diseases seriously affect human life and health.The existing antiplatelet drugs have some disadvantages.For example,aspirin may cause intracranial hemorrhage,and clopidogrel may play a slower role.Salvia miltiorrhiza as a traditional Chinese medicine has positive pharmacological activity and exerts antiplatelet aggrega.tion through different mechanisms.In the future,we will develop the new drugs which prevent and treat thrombotic diseases with the further study of the pharmacological effects and mechanisms of Salvia miltiorrhiza.展开更多
OBJECTIVBE To investigate the intervention of compound Astragalus and Salvia miltiorrhiza extract(CASE) consisted of astragalosides,astragalus polysaccharides and salvianolic acids on the interaction of microRNA-145/m...OBJECTIVBE To investigate the intervention of compound Astragalus and Salvia miltiorrhiza extract(CASE) consisted of astragalosides,astragalus polysaccharides and salvianolic acids on the interaction of microRNA-145/microRNA-21(miR-145/miR-21) and Smad3 C/3 L phosphorylation(pSmad3 C/pSmad3 L) down-stream of transforming growth factor-β(TGF-β)/mitogen activated protein kinase(MAPK) signaling in hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC) progression by in vitro and in vivo experi.ments.METHODS In HepG2 cells and xenografts of nude mice,antagomir/agomir and plasmids of Smad3 C/3 L phosphorylation site mutation(Smad3 3 S-A/Smad3 EPSM) were used to intervene miR-145/miR-21 and pSmad3 C/pSmad3 L expression respectively,then incorporative CASE treatment.Cell proliferation,migration,apoptosis,tumor growth and histopathologic characteristics of xenografts,relevant proteins of TGF-β/Smad pathway and miR-145/miR-21 were evaluated.RESULTS CASE up-regulated miR-145 while down-regulated miR-21,inhibited cell proliferation,migration and tumor growth,accelerated cell apoptosis in HepG2 cells respectively transfected with Smad3 WT,Smad3 EPSM,Smad3 3 S-A plasmids in cultured dishes and xenografts of nude mice,the above effects were more evident in HepG2 cells with increased pSmad3 C.In TGF-β1-stimulated HepG2 cells and xenografts of nude mice,CASE antagonized the facilitating effects of miR-145 antagomir/miR-21 agomir on cell migration,proliferation,tumor growth and inhibiting effects of miR-145 antagomir/miR-21 agomir on cell apoptosis;CASE increased miR-145 down-regulated by miR-145 antagomir and decreased miR-21 up-regulated by miR-21 agomir,reduced protein level of pSmad3 L and their proteins including TβRⅡ,pERK1/2,pJNK1/2 and pp38 while elevated pSmad3 C expression.CONCLUSION These results suggest that pSmad3 C/pSmad3 L maybe interact with miR-145/miR-21 in HCC progression,which may be one of important molecular mechanisms of CASE's anti-HCC effects.展开更多

In this experiment, salvianolic acid B standard was used to make the standard curve. Single factor experiment and orthogonal experiment were used to study the extraction of different ethanol concentrations, reflux times and material-to-liquid ratios. The OD value of salvianolic acid compounds was measured with a spectrophotometer. The extraction rate of phenolic acid compounds under different extraction conditions was calculated through a regression equation, so as to obtain the optimal conditions for the ethanol reflux extraction process of Salvia miltiorrhiza. The experimental data can provide a reference for the ethanol reflux extraction process of salvianolic acids in the industry. According to the experiment, the extraction rate of phenolic acids in Salvia miltiorrhiza was the highest when the ethanol concentration was 60%, the reflux time was 1.5 hours, and the ratio of material-to-liquid was 1:10.展开更多

P...Background: Compound Salvia Pellet (T89), consisting of Danshen (salvia miltiorrhiza), Sanqi (panax notoginseng), and Borneol (Cinnamomum camphora), has been used worldwide for 14 years for chronic angina treatment. Purpose: A dose escalation study to determine the maximum tolerance dose (MTD) in Chinese population to support a proposed dose regimen change. Methods: Forty-six participants (age 18 to 45 yrs, male to female ratio = 1:1) were divided into a series of 6 patients cohorts, and sequentially assigned into one of the escalating dose groups, starting from 540 mg, the clinical doses, until 4 out of 6 subjects experience clinical Adverse Events (AEs) or when the pre-defined 3510 mg dose level is reached and completed. All doses were given orally as a single dose 2 hours after breakfast. Adverse events, vital signs, 12-lead ECG, clinical and laboratory parameters and medical evaluation were conducted as outcome measures. Results: Study completed at the highest pre-defined dose level of 3510 mg dose as never had 4/6 of subject experience AEs in any dose levels studied. All participants completed the study and data were included in the safety analysis. The only moderate AE observation (muscle damage) was observed at 2970 mg dose and was recovered without any medical treatment, and all other AEs (ECG, dizziness, muscle damage) were mild and may (5 cases) or may not (9 cases) be related to testing drug and were all self-resolved within 30 min after dose. Conclusion: Given as single oral dose, Compound Salvia Pellet is safe and well-tolerated up to the 3510 mg studied. The MTD value of Compound Salvia Pellet is unknown from this trial and must be higher than 3510 mg, 13 times higher than its current clinical dose.展开更多
目的对复方丹参喷雾剂/气雾剂治疗冠心病心绞痛的有效性和安全性进行系统评价。方法系统检索中国知网、万方数据、维普网、中国生物医学文献数据库、Cochrane Library、PubMed、Embase、Web of Science,自建库至2021年5月5日的数据。筛...目的对复方丹参喷雾剂/气雾剂治疗冠心病心绞痛的有效性和安全性进行系统评价。方法系统检索中国知网、万方数据、维普网、中国生物医学文献数据库、Cochrane Library、PubMed、Embase、Web of Science,自建库至2021年5月5日的数据。筛选出复方丹参喷雾剂/气雾剂治疗冠心病心绞痛的随机对照试验进行Meta分析,使用TSA软件对冠心病心绞痛显效率结局指标的样本量进行预测,运用推荐分级评估、发展和评价(GRADE)证据评价方法对纳入的结局指标进行质量评价。结果共纳入9项研究,总样本量为1113例,试验组702例,对照组411例。Meta分析结果显示,复方丹参喷雾剂/气雾剂单用的治疗效果优于复方丹参片;联合硝酸酯类药物治疗冠心病心绞痛在提高冠心病心绞痛显效率、心电图显效率以及药品不良反应发生率与单用硝酸酯类药物无显著差异,但在稳定斑块(降低低密度脂蛋白、血清总胆固醇、血小板黏附率变化)方面优于单用硝酸酯类药物。不良反应主要为鼻咽部不适,可自行缓解,未发生严重不良反应。结论复方丹参喷雾剂/气雾剂治疗冠心病心绞痛有良好的临床疗效和安全性。展开更多

文摘Platelets are fragments of cytoplasm that are released from the mature megakaryocyte of the bone marrow.The main function of platelets is coagulation and hemostasis.Platelets play a central role in formation of pathological thrombosis.Many ischemic diseases are caused by excessive activa.tion of platelets,which can lead to thrombosis and death.Salvia miltiorrhiza Bunge,the dry roots and rhizomes of the Salvia miltiorrhiza plants,includes some water-soluble compounds,which play positive effects on diverse diseases such as neurodegenerative diseases,diabetic complications or cardiovas.cular diseases.In this paper,the components of the water-soluble in Salvia miltiorrhiza,as well as the applications in thrombotic diseases are summarized.The results show that water-soluble compounds include salvianolic acid A,salvianolic acid B,protocatechuic aldehyde,Danshensu,etc.The water-soluble compounds are applied to ischemic stroke,myocardial infarction and other diseases caused by thrombus.We also discussed the mechanisms of water-soluble compounds on the platelets based on our research results and the data obtained from references.The results indicate that water soluble compounds in Salvia miltiorrhiza play the antiplatelet and antithrombotic effects via different mechanisms,for example,salvianolic acid A inhibits platelet aggregation without promoting bleeding by increasing cAMP,inhibiting phosphoinositide 3-kinase(PI3K) and affecting GPCRs(G protein-coupled receptors) signaling path.ways;salvianolic acid B inhibit platelets as a P2Y12 antagonist and PDE inhibitor;Danshensu inhibits platelet activity may be related to inhibition of calcium influx.In conclusion,thrombotic diseases seriously affect human life and health.The existing antiplatelet drugs have some disadvantages.For example,aspirin may cause intracranial hemorrhage,and clopidogrel may play a slower role.Salvia miltiorrhiza as a traditional Chinese medicine has positive pharmacological activity and exerts antiplatelet aggrega.tion through different mechanisms.In the future,we will develop the new drugs which prevent and treat thrombotic diseases with the further study of the pharmacological effects and mechanisms of Salvia miltiorrhiza.

文摘OBJECTIVBE To investigate the intervention of compound Astragalus and Salvia miltiorrhiza extract(CASE) consisted of astragalosides,astragalus polysaccharides and salvianolic acids on the interaction of microRNA-145/microRNA-21(miR-145/miR-21) and Smad3 C/3 L phosphorylation(pSmad3 C/pSmad3 L) down-stream of transforming growth factor-β(TGF-β)/mitogen activated protein kinase(MAPK) signaling in hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC) progression by in vitro and in vivo experi.ments.METHODS In HepG2 cells and xenografts of nude mice,antagomir/agomir and plasmids of Smad3 C/3 L phosphorylation site mutation(Smad3 3 S-A/Smad3 EPSM) were used to intervene miR-145/miR-21 and pSmad3 C/pSmad3 L expression respectively,then incorporative CASE treatment.Cell proliferation,migration,apoptosis,tumor growth and histopathologic characteristics of xenografts,relevant proteins of TGF-β/Smad pathway and miR-145/miR-21 were evaluated.RESULTS CASE up-regulated miR-145 while down-regulated miR-21,inhibited cell proliferation,migration and tumor growth,accelerated cell apoptosis in HepG2 cells respectively transfected with Smad3 WT,Smad3 EPSM,Smad3 3 S-A plasmids in cultured dishes and xenografts of nude mice,the above effects were more evident in HepG2 cells with increased pSmad3 C.In TGF-β1-stimulated HepG2 cells and xenografts of nude mice,CASE antagonized the facilitating effects of miR-145 antagomir/miR-21 agomir on cell migration,proliferation,tumor growth and inhibiting effects of miR-145 antagomir/miR-21 agomir on cell apoptosis;CASE increased miR-145 down-regulated by miR-145 antagomir and decreased miR-21 up-regulated by miR-21 agomir,reduced protein level of pSmad3 L and their proteins including TβRⅡ,pERK1/2,pJNK1/2 and pp38 while elevated pSmad3 C expression.CONCLUSION These results suggest that pSmad3 C/pSmad3 L maybe interact with miR-145/miR-21 in HCC progression,which may be one of important molecular mechanisms of CASE's anti-HCC effects.
文摘The extraction technology of phenolic acid compounds from Salvia miltiorrhiza by ethanol reflux was studied. In this experiment, salvianolic acid B standard was used to make the standard curve. Single factor experiment and orthogonal experiment were used to study the extraction of different ethanol concentrations, reflux times and material-to-liquid ratios. The OD value of salvianolic acid compounds was measured with a spectrophotometer. The extraction rate of phenolic acid compounds under different extraction conditions was calculated through a regression equation, so as to obtain the optimal conditions for the ethanol reflux extraction process of Salvia miltiorrhiza. The experimental data can provide a reference for the ethanol reflux extraction process of salvianolic acids in the industry. According to the experiment, the extraction rate of phenolic acids in Salvia miltiorrhiza was the highest when the ethanol concentration was 60%, the reflux time was 1.5 hours, and the ratio of material-to-liquid was 1:10.

文摘Background: Compound Salvia Pellet (T89), consisting of Danshen (salvia miltiorrhiza), Sanqi (panax notoginseng), and Borneol (Cinnamomum camphora), has been used worldwide for 14 years for chronic angina treatment. Purpose: A dose escalation study to determine the maximum tolerance dose (MTD) in Chinese population to support a proposed dose regimen change. Methods: Forty-six participants (age 18 to 45 yrs, male to female ratio = 1:1) were divided into a series of 6 patients cohorts, and sequentially assigned into one of the escalating dose groups, starting from 540 mg, the clinical doses, until 4 out of 6 subjects experience clinical Adverse Events (AEs) or when the pre-defined 3510 mg dose level is reached and completed. All doses were given orally as a single dose 2 hours after breakfast. Adverse events, vital signs, 12-lead ECG, clinical and laboratory parameters and medical evaluation were conducted as outcome measures. Results: Study completed at the highest pre-defined dose level of 3510 mg dose as never had 4/6 of subject experience AEs in any dose levels studied. All participants completed the study and data were included in the safety analysis. The only moderate AE observation (muscle damage) was observed at 2970 mg dose and was recovered without any medical treatment, and all other AEs (ECG, dizziness, muscle damage) were mild and may (5 cases) or may not (9 cases) be related to testing drug and were all self-resolved within 30 min after dose. Conclusion: Given as single oral dose, Compound Salvia Pellet is safe and well-tolerated up to the 3510 mg studied. The MTD value of Compound Salvia Pellet is unknown from this trial and must be higher than 3510 mg, 13 times higher than its current clinical dose.
文摘目的对复方丹参喷雾剂/气雾剂治疗冠心病心绞痛的有效性和安全性进行系统评价。方法系统检索中国知网、万方数据、维普网、中国生物医学文献数据库、Cochrane Library、PubMed、Embase、Web of Science,自建库至2021年5月5日的数据。筛选出复方丹参喷雾剂/气雾剂治疗冠心病心绞痛的随机对照试验进行Meta分析,使用TSA软件对冠心病心绞痛显效率结局指标的样本量进行预测,运用推荐分级评估、发展和评价(GRADE)证据评价方法对纳入的结局指标进行质量评价。结果共纳入9项研究,总样本量为1113例,试验组702例,对照组411例。Meta分析结果显示,复方丹参喷雾剂/气雾剂单用的治疗效果优于复方丹参片;联合硝酸酯类药物治疗冠心病心绞痛在提高冠心病心绞痛显效率、心电图显效率以及药品不良反应发生率与单用硝酸酯类药物无显著差异,但在稳定斑块(降低低密度脂蛋白、血清总胆固醇、血小板黏附率变化)方面优于单用硝酸酯类药物。不良反应主要为鼻咽部不适,可自行缓解,未发生严重不良反应。结论复方丹参喷雾剂/气雾剂治疗冠心病心绞痛有良好的临床疗效和安全性。
