Preprocessing and Efficacy Analysis of Comprehensive Anti-Inflammatory Treatment for Lymphedema in Patients with Irritating Contact Dermatitis

Objective: To explore the pre-treatment and efficacy analysis of comprehensive anti-inflammatory treatment for lymphedema in patients with irritating contact dermatitis. Method: Convenience sampling method was used to observe the skin of 160 patients with upper limb lymphedema admitted to the lymphedema outpatient department of our hospital. They were divided into an observation group (80 cases) and a control group (80 cases), and both groups received a course of comprehensive anti-inflammatory treatment (20 treatments). The control group received routine skin care;On the basis of the control group, the observation group received pre-treatment of the affected limb skin: Laofuzi herbal ointment was applied externally to the prone areas of irritating contact dermatitis (such as the upper arm, inner forearm, and cubital fossa). Result: The incidence of irritating contact dermatitis in the observation group was significantly lower than that in the control group (P 0.05). Patients in the observation group felt significantly better in terms of comfort, skin moisture, and itching relief after being wrapped with low elasticity bandages than those in the control group (P Conclusion: Preventive treatment can effectively reduce the incidence of irritating contact dermatitis, prolong the time of stress treatment, thereby increasing efficacy and improving patient compliance.

Clinical comprehensive treatment protocol for managing diabetic foot ulcers:A retrospective cohort study

BACKGROUND Diabetic foot ulcers(DFUs)are a common complication of diabetes,often leading to severe infections,amputations,and reduced quality of life.The current standard treatment protocols for DFUs have limitations in promoting efficient wound healing and preventing complications.A comprehensive treatment approach targeting multiple aspects of wound care may offer improved outcomes for patients with DFUs.The hypothesis of this study is that a comprehensive treatment protocol for DFUs will result in faster wound healing,reduced amputation rates,and improved overall patient outcomes compared to standard treatment protocols.AIM To compare the efficacy and safety of a comprehensive treatment protocol for DFUs with those of the standard treatment protocol.METHODS This retrospective study included 62 patients with DFUs,enrolled between January 2022 and January 2024,randomly assigned to the experimental(n=32)or control(n=30)group.The experimental group received a comprehensive treatment comprising blood circulation improvement,debridement,vacuum sealing drainage,recombinant human epidermal growth factor and anti-inflammatory dressing,and skin grafting.The control group received standard treatment,which included wound cleaning and dressing,antibiotics administration,and surgical debridement or amputation,if necessary.Time taken to reduce the white blood cell count,number of dressing changes,wound healing rate and time,and amputation rate were assessed.RESULTS The experimental group exhibited significantly better outcomes than those of the control group in terms of the wound healing rate,wound healing time,and amputation rate.Additionally,the comprehensive treatment protocol was safe and well tolerated by the patients.CONCLUSION Comprehensive treatment for DFUs is more effective than standard treatment,promoting granulation tissue growth,shortening hospitalization time,reducing pain and amputation rate,improving wound healing,and enhancing quality of life.

Research on the Effect of Comprehensive Intervention in the Clinical Treatment of Patients with Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus

Objective:This study aims to explore the value of comprehensive intervention in the clinical treatment of patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus complicated with hypertension.Methods:90 patients with type 2 diabetes and hypertension were selected and divided into a control group and an intervention group according to the random number table method,with 45 cases in each group.The control group received conventional treatment,and the intervention group received comprehensive intervention on the basis of the control group,including a diet plan,an exercise program,scientific treatment,regular monitoring,and psychological counseling.The blood sugar,blood pressure,and other indicators of the two groups were compared.Results:After 5 months of intervention,the fasting blood glucose,postprandial 2 h blood glucose,glycosylated blood glucose protein,diastolic blood pressure,systolic blood pressure,mean arterial pressure,and other indicators of the intervention group were significantly lower than the control group(P<0.05),and the rate of decrease was significantly greater than that of the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:Comprehensive intervention for patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus and hypertension helps in controlling blood sugar and lowering blood pressure,with clinical significance.

Diabetic foot(DF)is one of the most common complications of diabetes and is associated with high morbidity,disability,lethality and low cure-rate.The clinical diagnosis and treatment of DF need to be standardized.The Chinese Diabetic Foot Cell and Interventional Therapy Technology Alliance has released six editions of guidelines and standards for clinical diagnosis and interventional treatment of DF,which filled the gap in the domestic DF treatment standard and played an important role in improving the level of diagnosis and treatment in China.In line with the latest developments in diagnosis and treatment,the Alliance,along with other 89 institutions,developed and issued the new edition based on the sixth edition to help standardize the clinical diagnosis and treatment of DF in China.

Opinion on double strategy to fight against COVID-19:Vaccination and home treatment with non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs

The goals of global vaccination are to control,eliminate,or eradicate infectious diseases in a sustainable way that strengthens public health systems.Although the use of vaccines is essential for the control of epidemics,the vaccines against coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19)proved to be inadequate to end the pandemic and thus are considered incomplete.These vaccines failed to prevent infection,so their primary purpose has been shifted to prevent severe disease and reduce hospitalizations and deaths.Therefore,we believe that all the strategies available to reduce transmission,hospitalizations and deaths due to COVID-19 will be put in place.It is reported that uncontrolled inflammation and thrombosis are the principal mechanisms for aggravation and death in patients with COVID-19.Unlike corticosteroids that should not be administered at the beginning of the symptoms for their immunosuppressive action,which could worsen the evolution of the disease,the usefulness of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs in the early at-home treatment of the disease is becoming evident.

INTERVENTION CHEMOTHERAPY IN COMPREHENSIVE TREATMENT OF ADVANCED NASOPHARYNGEAL CARCINOMA

Objective: To study the use of interventional chemotherapy in comprehensive treatment for advanced nasopharyngeal carcinoma. Methods: Interventional chemotherapy with multi-drugs including cisplatin (DDP) 100 mg, 5-fluorouracil (5-FU) 1000 mg and bleomycin (BLM) 16 mg was used to treat 30 cases with advanced nasopharyngeal carcinoma before radiotherapy. 50 cases that received radiotherapy alone were used as a control group. The methods, time and dose schedule of radiotherapy were similar in the two groups. Results: The primary lesions in 16 cases and the cervical lymph nodes in 12 cases were reduced hi size after interventional chemotherapy. Radiation doses of those in complete response in their primary lesion and cervical lymph nodes were lower than that of the control group (P<0.05). The complete response rate of study group was 83.3% and that of control group was 72.0% (P<0.05). Conclusion: Interventional chemotherapy plus radiotherapy is a valuable treatment method in advanced nasopharyngeal carcinoma.

COMPREHENSIVE TREATMENT FOR SARCOMA BOTRYOIDES OF UTERINE CERVIX

Seven cases of sarcoma botryoides of the uterine cervix are reviewed. The age of the patients ranged from 19 to 40 years, with a median age of 23 years. Four patients were diagnosed as stage Ia, two as Ib and one as Ⅱ a, 6 cases were treated with surgery, chemotherapy and/or radiotherapy, and 1 with surgery only, 5 cases in this group survived more than 5 years with a mean 7.9 years of follow-up. The prognosis for cervical sarcoma botryoides is similar to that of other female genital tract embryonal rhabdomyosarcomas. Primary therapy should consist of vincristine and dactinomycin based chemotherapy. Surgery should be guided by the response to initial chemotherapy and should attempt to conserve the function of the bladder, rectum, vagina, and ovaries. Radiotherapy was used for involved surgical margins or positive nodes. The effect of radiotherapy is unclear for stage Ia cases.

Advanced Treatment of Biologically Treated Chemical Comprehensive Wastewater by Nano-TiO2 Photocatalytic Oxidation

Nano-TiO2 photocatalytic oxidation was used to perform the advanced treatment of biologically treated chemical comprehensive wastewater. The effects of reaction time,nano-TiO2 dosage and initial p H of the wastewater on the removal rate of COD were tested. The GC/MS and EEM techniques were used to qualitatively analyze organic compounds in the wastewater before and after treatment. The result showed that after the biologically treated chemical comprehensive wastewater was treated by nano-TiO2 photocatalytic oxidation under the conditions of reaction time 3 h,nano-TiO2 dosage 8 g/L,and pH 8. 0,the effluent COD was 61. 9 mg/L and its removal rate was 63. 8%. Additionally,the species of organic pollutants reduced from 12 to 6. Meanwhile,the content of humic-like and fulvic-like substances dropped dramatically.

Comprehensive treatment for primary right renal diffuse large B-cell lymphoma with a renal vein tumor thrombus:A case report

BACKGROUND Renal involvement in lymphoma is commonly associated with widespread nodal or extranodal lymphoma.Primary renal diffuse large B-cell lymphoma is an extremely rare extranodal lymphoma,accounting for fewer than 1%of all renal masses.Interestingly,the patient in this study had a renal vein tumor thrombus that was observed after laparoscopic radical nephrectomy.CASE SUMMARY We report the case of a 56-year-old female patient with primary renal lymphoma and a renal vein tumor thrombus whose first symptom was right pain in the back and gross hematuria.Histopathology revealed primary renal diffuse large B-cell lymphoma.The patient received 8 standard cycles of rituximab with cyclophosphamide,doxorubicin,vincristine,and prednisone chemotherapy after surgery,and no obvious signs of recurrence were observed during the one-year follow-up.CONCLUSION We evaluated comprehensive treatment of primary renal diffuse large B-cell lymphoma and multidisciplinary management of this malignancy.

Clinical Effect of Comprehensive Rehabilitation Treatment for Deep Burns in Different Functional Joint Areas

Objective:To analyse the clinical effect of comprehensive rehabilitation therapy in patients with deep burns at different functional joint areas.Methods:Eighty-one patients with deep burns with different functional joint areas from April 2018 to April 2019 were divided into the conventional and rehabilitation groupings.The conventional group(n=40)received routine treatment and rehabilitation while the rehabilitation group(n=41)was given comprehensive rehabilitation treatment.Thereafter,the recovery of joint function in patients with deep burns in different areas,the combined value of clinical long-term treatment,the recovery of joint function and the score of daily living ability were calculated.Results:The total long-term effective rate of treatment,the recovery of the joint function,and the score of daily living ability of the patients with deep burns in the rehabilitation group were more favourable than those of the conventional group as demonstrated by P<0.05,the index data indicating statistical significance.Conclusion:Comprehensive rehabilitation therapy can reduce complications and improve the quality of life in patients with deep burns in different functional joint areas.

Clinical Observation on the Prevention and Treatment of Juvenile Mild Myopia with Traditional Chinese Medicine Comprehensive Therapy

Objective:To observe the clinical effect of traditional Chinese medicine on the prevention and treatment ofjuvenile mild myopia.Methods:One hundred and twenty cases of juvenile mild myopia were randomly divided into six groups,with 20 cases in each group:western medicine group,ultrasonic group,acupuncture group,auricular point group,traditional Chinese oral decoction group,and traditional Chinese medicine comprehensive therapy group.The therapeutic effects of the treatment administered to the six groups were compared.Result:In the post-treatment and follow-up stages,the visual acuity of the traditional Chinese medicine comprehensive therapy group significantly improved along with reduced diopter compared to the other groups(p<0.05).However,the axial length of the six groups had no significant change compared with that before treatment(p>0.05).There were no adverse reactions in any of the patients.Conclusion:In the treatment of juvenile mild myopia,traditional Chinese medicine comprehensive therapy has good therapeutic effect without any adverse reactions;thus,it is worthy of clinical promotion.

Comprehensive recovery of gold and base-metal sulfide minerals from a low-grade refractory ore

The comprehensive recovery of small amounts of valuable minerals such as gold and base-metal sulfide minerals from a low-grade refractory ore was investigated. The following treatment strategy was applied to a sample of this ore： gold flotation-gold concen- trate leaching-lead and zinc flotation from the gold concentrate leaching residue. Closed-circuit trials of gold flotation yielded a gold concen- trate that assayed at 40.23 g·t-1 Au with a recovery of 86.25%. The gold concentrate leaching rate was 98.76%. Two variants of lead-zinc flotation from the residue--preferential flotation of lead and zinc and bulk flotation of lead and zinc--were tested using the middling processing method. Foam from the reflotation was returned to the lead rougher flotation or lead-zinc bulk flotation, whereas middlings from reflotation were discarded. Sulfur concentrate was a byproduct. The combined strategy of flotation, leaching, and flotation is recommended for the treatment of this kind of ore.

Recent update on comprehensive therapy for advanced hepatocellular carcinoma

Hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC)is one of the most common malignant tumors in the world.The treatment methods for HCC are diverse,mainly including surgical resection,ablation,and liver transplantation.The curative effect can be achieved only for early stage HCC,and it is easy to recur and metastasize after surgery,with a 5-year recurrence rate as high as 70%.Most patients with HCC are in the middle and advanced stage at the time of diagnosis and lose the chance of surgical resection.In recent years,with the in-depth study of the pathogenesis of HCC and the progress of medical science and technology,the systemic treatment of advanced HCC has made a breakthrough.At present,multidisciplinary comprehensive treatment including targeted therapy and immunotherapy has become an effective strategy and inevitable trend for the treatment of advanced HCC.Combined therapy has greatly improved the prognosis of HCC patients and opened up a new milestone in the treatment of this malignancy.In this article,we focus on the treatment progress of advanced HCC to further guide clinical practice.
