Owing to the vulnerability of Invar to moisture in the membranes of LNG tanker cargo tank construction platforms(CTCPs),an energy-efficient ventilation system is needed to maintain a suitable thermal-moisture environment and a healthy workplace.However,the optimal distribution of supply and return devices that would guarantee worker satisfaction,air quality,and energy efficiency is unclear.Therefore,we conducted numerical simulations to determine the worker satisfaction indices(temperature,relative humidity,and carbon monoxide concentration satisfactions),air quality index(contaminant-removal efficiency),and energy efficiency index(heat-removal efficiency)with supply vane angles ranging from-75°to 0°and two return vent positions(the bottom return vent and the top return vent).The analytic hierarchy process(AHP)entropy weight method was employed to determine the optimal supply vane angle and return vent position for three design targets by considering these indices simultaneously.The results indicated that,with a supply angle of-45°and a bottom return vent,worker satisfaction and air quality were prioritized.Furthermore,a high energy performance of the ventilation system was achieved with a-15°supply angle and a bottom return vent.Moreover,a comprehensive graph of supply vane angles at both return heights,which could provide a reference for optimizing the ventilation system in LNG-CTCPs,is described. 展开更多

Background Based on the excellent medical care and management system for Chinese veterans,as well as the detailed medical documentation available,we aim to construct a Chinese Veteran Clinical Research (CVCR) platform on noncommunicable diseases (NCDs) and carry out studies of the primary disabling NCDs.Methods The Geriatric Neurology Department of Chinese People's Liberation Army General Hospital and veterans' hospitals serve as the leading and participating units in the platform construction.The fundamental constituents of the platform are veteran communities.Stratified typical cluster sampling is adopted to recruit veteran communities.A cross-sectional study of mental,neurological,and substance use (MNS) disorders are performed in two stages using screening scale such as the Mini-Mental State Examination and Montreal cognitive assessment,followed by systematic neuropsychological assessments to make clinical diagnoses,evaluated disease awareness and care situation.Results A total of 9 676 among 277 veteran communities from 18 cities are recruited into this platform,yielding a response rate of 83.86%.8 812 subjects complete the MNS subproject screening and total response rate is 91.70%.The average participant age is (82.01±4.61) years,69.47% of veterans are 80 years or older.Most participants are male (94.01%),83.36% of subjects have at least a junior high school degree.The overall health status of veterans is good and stable.The most common NCD are cardiovascular disorders (86.44%),urinary and genital diseases (73.14%),eye and ear problems (66.25%),endocrine (56.56%) and neuro-psychiatric disturbances (50.78%).Conclusion We first construct a veterans' comprehensive clinical research platform for the study of NCDs that is primarily composed of highly educated Chinese males of advanced age and utilize this platform to complete a cross-sectional national investigation of MNS disorders among veterans.The good and stable health condition of the veterans could facilitate the long-term follow-up studies of NCDs and provide prospective data to the prevention and management of NCDs. 展开更多

Many of the world’s powerful and wealthy nations,including China,have devoted both large amounts of funding and considerable promotion to lunar research and exploration.The launch of Chinese Chang’e-1 satellite and the construction of the scientific observation data platform created a favourable opportunity for research into the lunar geometrical,physical and chemical environment.Based on this background,a Wide Area Network(WAN)based virtual lunar environment was constructed for observation data sharing and further exploration.The systematic architecture and framework were introduced and then strategies of mass data(e.g.lunar digital elevation model,lunar digital orthophoto map and typical thematic lunar data)organisation,integration,management and scheduling were then set up to achieve the 3D visualisation of typical lunar geomorphic features.Furthermore,the integration method of 3D lunar data and the process model of impact craters were studied;thus,the whole lunar and celestial collision process could be dynamically simulated.The results indicate that the WAN-based virtual lunar platform can be used effectively for public information sharing,scientific exploration and further to promote the development of deep space exploration in China. 展开更多
