Comparison of Chronic Wound Inpatients and Outpatients’ Diets and Meals Nutrient Content in Taabo Wound Management Unit, Côte d’Ivoire

Chronic and potential non-healing wounds are a great challenge for patients, physicians, and wound care professionals and the health system. A balanced nutrition intake is essential for health as well as a speedy recovery of such wounds. The study objective was to compare chronic wound inpatients supplemented with food nutrient content with outpatients with their usual intake in a cross-sectional study. Patients’ food samples were taken for chemical analyses. The protein, beta-carotene, sodium, magnesium, manganese, and potassium content prove statistically significant differences. Outpatients’ diets are more diversified than inpatients’ diets, and supplementation diet richest in beta-carotene and in protein. Outpatients have better dietary diversity than those who were hospitalized. The result provides insights of supplementary food as critical issues pertaining to chronic wounds management. However, analyzing bioavailability of nutrient on patients’ blood may provide more knowledge in the appropriate integrated wound management.

EDCMS:A Content Management System for Engineering Documents

Engineers often need to look for the right pieces of information by sifting through long engineering documents, It is a very tiring and time-consuming job. To address this issue, researchers are increasingly devoting their attention to new ways to help information users, including engineers, to access and retrieve document content. The research reported in this paper explores how to use the key technologies of document decomposition （study of document structure）, document mark-up （with EXtensible Mark- up Language （XML）, HyperText Mark-up Language （HTML）, and Scalable Vector Graphics （SVG））, and a facetted classification mechanism. Document content extraction is implemented via computer programming （with Java）. An Engineering Document Content Management System （EDCMS） developed in this research demonstrates that as information providers we can make document content in a more accessible manner for information users including engineers.The main features of the EDCMS system are： 1） EDCMS is a system that enables users, especially engineers, to access and retrieve information at content rather than document level. In other words, it provides the right pieces of information that answer specific questions so that engineers don＇t need to waste time sifting through the whole document to obtain the required piece of information. 2） Users can use the EDCMS via both the data and metadata of a document to access engineering document content. 3） Users can use the EDCMS to access and retrieve content objects, i.e. text, images and graphics （including engineering drawings） via multiple views and at different granularities based on decomposition schemes. Experiments with the EDCMS have been conducted on semi-structured documents, a textbook of CADCAM, and a set of project posters in the Engineering Design domain. Experimental results show that the system provides information users with a powerful solution to access document content.

甘蓝型油菜高亚麻酸CMS的快速选育方法及效果研究

为了加速甘蓝型油菜高亚麻酸杂交育种进程。以高亚麻酸油菜种质为试验材料,采用快速选育方法进行油菜高亚麻酸CMS及保持系的选育。结果表明:选育周期从5~6年缩短为4年,亚麻酸含量由11.85%提升至16.96%,含油量由45.0%提升至48.8%,单株亚麻酸产出量由0.98 g提升至1.53 g。与原CMS(陕6A)相比,“YM-1A”的含油量、单株产量、亚麻酸含量、异交结实系数、单株亚麻酸产量分别提高8.45%、4.49%、59.43%、12.8%、80.65%;而自交结实系数降低56.86%。因不育性、农艺、品质等性状显著提高,YM-1A在甘蓝型油菜高亚麻酸杂交育种中具有较高的利用价值。

Use of content management systems to address nursing workflow

Nurses are at the forefront of providing healthcare services to individuals of all age groups and with varying medical conditions.Aside from the critical knowledge and technical skills from nursing science,advancement in technology has assisted nurses in delivering quality nursing care by streamlining workflow processes and ensuring that data can easily be retrieved or modified.Electronic health records dramatically changed the landscape of the healthcare practice by providing an electronic means to store data and for healthcare professionals to retrieve and manipulate health information in a secured and collaborative environment.But with the nature of data being stored in the electronic health records,nurses still need to organize and process these data into relevant information,knowledge or wisdom so they can provide better holistic care to patients.This discussion paper details the role of content management systems in addressing nursing workflow by providing a mechanism for nurses to be developers themselves,and not just users or consumers of health innovative technologies.By using content management systems as platform for application development,nurses or other healthcare professionals,may be able to address problems with internal workflow without having to incur huge amounts in software development,or having to extensively learn programming languages.

A Digital Right Management Model for Distribution of Digital Audiovisual Content

This paper presents a digital rights management model, which considers the integrated factors including legality, communication security, integrity of the content, and trading fairness. The architecture of the model, the necessary protocol for the copyright control and content distribution, the authentication mechanism which offer consumption registration for content fair distribution, of the model are all provided. The scheme also provides distribution and evidence for using the copyright of digital content fairly and effectively. Finally, analysis shows the proposed model has both high security and good performance.

Evaluating Enterprise Content Management Tools in a Real Context

Managing documentation in a suitable way has become a critical issue for any organization. Organizations depend on the information?they store and they are required to have appropriate mechanisms to support the functional needs of information storage, management and retrieval. Currently, there are several tools in the market, both free software and proprietary license, normally named Enterprise Content Management (ECM) tools, which offer relevant solutions in this context. This paper presents a comparative study among several of the most commonly used ECM tools. It starts with a systematic review of the literature to analyze possible solutions and then it defines a characterization schema instantiated in a particular case, the Regional Government of Andalusia.

It assesses the impact of AIGC services on engineering management processes, mapping out the potential development of AIGC in various engineering functions. The study categorizes AIGC services within the domain of engineering management and conceptualizes an AIGC-aided engineering lifecycle. It also identifies key challenges and emerging trends associated with AIGC. The challenges highlighted are ethical considerations, reliability, and robustness in engineering management. The emerging trends are centered on AIGC-aided optimization design, AIGC-aided engineering consulting, and AIGC-aided green engineering initiatives.

Diagnosis and management of coronary allograft vasculopathy in children and adolescents

Coronary allograft vasculopathy remains one of the leading causes of death beyond the first year post transplant. As a result of denervation following transplantation, patients lack ischaemic symptoms and presentation is often late when the graft is already compromised. Current diagnostic tools are rather invasive, or in case of angiography, significantly lack sensitivity. Therefore a non-invasive tool that could al ow early diagnosis would be invaluable.This paper review the disease form its different diagnosis techniques,including new and less invasive diagnostic tools to its pharmacological management and possible treatments.

Smart Irrigation System: A Water Management Procedure

This paper presents a smart irrigation system suitable for use in places where water scarcity is a challenge. In many parts of Africa, even when irrigation is practiced, it is manually operated. Smart irrigation system is thereby believed to be a major solution. The paper therefore presents a smart irrigation system that optimizes the available water in the water reservoir thus providing an efficient and effective water usage solution for the irrigation system. The irrigation system is able to automatically start/stop water pumps on the irrigation site based on the soil moisture content acquired from the moisture content sensor as well as the ultrasonic sensor measuring the water level in the reservoir. The measured sensor values are sent to the Arduino microcontroller for configuring the control algorithm. The system prioritizes irrigation operation by determining the number of pumps to be operated at any instance as well as their locations. In this way, different crops can be watered depending on their varying water requirements. In order to implement the design, a laboratory scale architectural model depicting a farm setting with reservoir, direct current (DC) pumps and the control unit was constructed. Experimental results revealed good performance which makes the developed system a suitable tool for studies on irrigation.

Trust Management for Mobile Media Distribution

Multimedia content delivery to capable smart phones with high-speed next-generation Internet connectivity is becoming commonplace. However, the openness of delivery demands adaptive and robust management of intellectual property rights. The purpose of this article is to describe a framework to address the central issues in content delivery: a scalable peer-to-peer-based content delivery model. Our method pairs the delivery with a secure access control model that enables data providers to secure a return from making their original content available. Our work resulted in a prototype implementation written in Java that includes a client for the Android mobile platform. Adding robust trust management to scalable peer-to-peer content delivery is the major significance of our work.

Discussion on the Improvement of Management Mode of Student Status in Colleges and Universities

In order to improve the management of university status in China,it is necessary to actively transform the student status management model,it should be student service,and it’s turned into restraint and motivation,the mode of student service as a supplement is transformed.Under the model of service and constraint and incentive,we should strengthen the current management mode of student status in colleges and universities.And under the new model,the data quality of student status can be guaranteed,so that students’academic safety and education and teaching order can be improved accordingly,establish a good learning atmosphere,strengthening management.This paper analyzes and probes into the problems existing in the management of university status in China,this paper expounds the main contents of university student status management,and put forward the effective measures to improve the current management of university status.

我国生育妇女健康管理政策变迁——基于ROST CM6政策文本分析

目的基于我国生育妇女健康管理政策,分析在价值目标、规则等方面的演变历程及发展特征,为完善孕产期及育儿期妇女健康管理政策提供依据。方法采用内容分析法和社会网络分析法,运用ROST CM6软件对生育妇女健康管理相关政策文件进行分析,获取不同阶段生育妇女健康管理政策聚焦点,依据社会治理体系挖掘政策阶段性演变规律。结果1992-2021年,政策文件数量呈不断增加趋势;政策目标由“保障孕产妇健康权益”拓展到“为孕产妇免费提供生育全过程的健康服务”;政策关注群体由户籍孕产妇拓展到流动孕产妇和育儿期妇女;相关法律法规体系不断完善,但滞后于价值目标;社会支持主体由政府主导到提倡全社会参与;相关机制在发展中得到补充和加强。结论生育妇女健康管理总体呈不断发展趋势,但在对育儿期妇女关注度方面仍显不足。提示要进一步加强对育儿期妇女健康管理的关注,同时法律法规需要紧跟国家价值目标的变化,及时提供刚性保障。

SDN-Enabled Content Dissemination Scheme for the Internet of Vehicles

The content-centric networking(CCN)architecture allows access to the content through name,instead of the physical location where the content is stored,which makes it a more robust and flexible content-based architecture.Nevertheless,in CCN,the broadcast nature of vehicles on the Internet of Vehicles(IoV)results in latency and network congestion.The IoVbased content distribution is an emerging concept in which all the vehicles are connected via the internet.Due to the high mobility of vehicles,however,IoV applications have different network requirements that differ from those of many other networks,posing new challenges.Considering this,a novel strategy mediator framework is presented in this paper for managing the network resources efficiently.Software-defined network(SDN)controller is deployed for improving the routing flexibility and facilitating in the interinteroperability of heterogeneous devices within the network.Due to the limited memory of edge devices,the delectable bloom filters are used for caching and storage.Finally,the proposed scheme is compared with the existing variants for validating its effectiveness.
