A hybrid control strategy has been designed and developed for the electro-hydraulic posi-tion servo control system with generalized Pulse code modulation (GPCM), which is suitable for the area where the work condition is poor and a large flow rate is required. It is difficult to control the GPCM system because the system is discrete. With consideration of the stability and speediness of the GPCM position servo control system, a control strategy is developed through the theoretical and ex-perimental analyses. The control strategy integrates the merits of Bang-Bang control, PID control and fuzzy control. With this hybrid control strategy, the electro hydraulic control system has good per-formances, and the servo control is carried out with GPCM through on-off valves. 展开更多

In this paper, we proposed development architecture for embedded control systems based on MIC. GME is used to construct meta-model and application model, model in-terpreter interprets model and stores model information in xml format document. The final cross-platform codes are automatically generated by different templates and xml format document. Quantum network coding is used to solve the congestion problem in quantum communication,which will promote the transmission efficiency of quantum information and the total throughput of quantum network.We propose a novel controlled quantum network coding without information loss.The effective transmission of quantum states on the butterfly network requires the consent form a third-party controller Charlie.Firstly,two pairs of threeparticle non-maximum entangled states are pre-shared between senders and controller.By adding auxiliary particles and local operations,the senders can predict whether a certain quantum state can be successfully transmitted within the butterfly network based on the Z-{10>,|1>}basis.Secondly,when trans-mission fails upon prediction,the quantum state will not be lost,and it will sill be held by the sender.Subsequently,the controller Charlie re-prepares another three-particle non-maximum entangled state to start a new round.When the predicted transmission is successful,the quantum state can be transmitted successfully within the butterfly network.If the receiver wants to receive the effective quantum state,the quantum measurements from Charlie are needed.Thirdly,when the transmission fails,Charlie does not need to integrate the X-{1+>,1->}basis to measure its own particles,by which quantum resources are saved.Charlie not only controls the effective transmission of quantum states,but also the usage of classical and quantum channels.Finally,the implementation of the quantum circuits,as well as a flow chart and safety analysis of our scheme,is proposed. 展开更多

The finite element method(FEM) is combined with the GHM(Golla Hughes McTavish) model of viscoelastic material to model a cantilever beam with active constrained layer damping (ACLD), which can avoid time consuming iteration for solving modal frequencies, modal damping rations and responses. But the resulting finite element model has too many degress of freedom from the point of control. Furthermore, it is not observable and controllable. So, a new model reduction procedure was proposed. Firstly, an iterativr dynamic condensation is performed in the physical space and Guyan condensation is taken as an initial approximation of the iteration. This results in a reduced order system with suitable size, but it is still not observable and controllable. So a kind of robust model reduction methods is utilized in the state space afterwards. The numerical example shows that the above model reduction procedure can not only reduce the size of the system greatly but also guarantee the stability, controllability and observability of the final reduced order system. Finally, a controller, is designed by LQG (Linear Quadratic Gaussian) method based on the final reduced order model. It shows that the vibration attenuation is obvious. 展开更多

It is important to achieve continuous, stable and efficient pumping well operation in actual oilfield operation. Down-hole pumping well working conditions can be monitored in real-time and a reasonable production scheme can be designed when computer diagnosis is used. However, it is difficult to make a comprehensive analysis to supply efficient technical guidance for operation of the pumping well with multiple faults of down-hole conditions, which cannot be effectively dealt with by the common methods. To solve this problem, a method based on designated component analysis (DCA) is used in this paper. Freeman chain code is used to represent the down-hole dynamometer card whose important characteristics are extracted to construct a designated mode set. A control chart is used as a basis for fault detection. The upper and lower control lines on the control chart are determined from standard samples in normal working conditions. In an incompletely orthogonal mode, the designated mode set could be divided into some subsets in which the modes are completely orthogonal. The observed data is projected into each designated mode to realize fault detection according to the upper and lower control lines. The examples show that the proposed method can effectively diagnose multiple faults of down-hole conditions. 展开更多

Variable Bit Rate Fuzzy Control for Low Delay Video Coding

Rate control plays a critical role in achieving perceivable video quality under a variable bit rate,limited buffer sizes and low delay applications.Since a rate control system exhibits non-linear and unpredictable characteristics,it is difficult to establish a very accurate rate-distortion(R-D)model and acquire effective rate control performance.Considering the excellent control ability and low computing complexity of the fuzzy logic in non-linear systems,this paper proposes a bitrate control algorithm based on a fuzzy controller,named the Fuzzy Rate Control Algorithm(FRCA),for All-Intra(AI)and low-delay(LD)video source coding.Contributions of the proposed FRCA mainly consist of four aspects.First,fuzzy logic is adopted to minimize the deviation between the actual and the target buffer size in the hypothetical reference decoder(HRD).Second,a fast lookup table is employed in fuzzy rate control,which reduces computing cost of the control process.Third,an input domain determination scheme is proposed to improve the precision of the fuzzy controller.Fourth,a novel scene change detection is introduced and integrated in the FRCA to adaptively adjust the Group-of-Pictures(GOP)length when the source content fluctuates.The FRCA can be transplanted and implemented in various industry coders.Extensive experiments show that the FRCA has accurate variable bit-rate control ability and maintains a steady buffer size during the encoding processes.Compared with the default configuration encoding under AI and LD,the proposed FRCA can achieve the target bit rates more accurately in various classical encoders. 展开更多
