The information of shear wave velocity is required to reduce the uncertainty for discriminating lithology, identifying fluid type in porous material and calculating gas saturation in reservoir prediction. Based on Zoeppritz equations, a numeral and scanning method was proposed in this paper. Shear wave velocity can be calculated with prestack converted wave data. This paper describes a new algorithm for the 2-D converted-measurement Kalman filter (CMKF) which estimates a target’s Cartesian state given polar position measurements. At each processing index, the new algorithm chooses the more accurate of (1) the sensor’s polar position measurement and (2) the CMKF’s Cartesian position prediction. The new algorithm then computes the raw converted measurement’s error bias and the corresponding debiased converted measurement’s error covariance conditioned on the chosen position estimate. The paper derives explicit expressions for the polar-measurement-conditioned bias and covariance and shows the resulting polar-measurement-conditioned CMKF’s mathematical equivalence with the 2-D modified unbiased CMKF (MUCMKF). The paper also describes a method, based upon the unscented transformation, for approximating the raw converted measurement’s error bias and the debiased converted measurement’s error covariance conditioned on the CMKF’s Cartesian position prediction. Simulation results demonstrate the new CMKF’s improved tracking performance and statistical credibility as compared to those of the 2-D MUCMKF. 展开更多

With rapid growth of power demand, transmission capacity is also in urgent need of upgrading. In some cases, converting existing AC transmission lines to DC lines can Improve the transmission capacity and reduce the construction investment. In this paper, the upstream finite element method was expanded to calculate the total electric field of same tower multi-circuit DC lines converted from double-circuit AC lines, and the validity of the algorithm was confirmed by experiments. Taking a DC line converted from a typical same tower 500 kV double-circuit AC transmission line as an example, the surface electric field and the ground total electric field in different pole conductor arrangement schemes were calculated and analyzed, and the critical height of pole conductors for DC lines in residential and non-residential area were determined. Then, the corridor width of DC and AC lines at critical height in residential and non-residential areas before and after AC-DC line transformation were compared. The results indicate that for DC lines converted from common 500 kV double-circuit AC lines, the ground total electric field can meet the requirements of corresponding standard with appropriate pole conductor arrangement schemes. 展开更多

The original algorithm for the 2-D debiased converted-measurement Kalman filter (CMKF) specified, with incorrect mathematical justification, a requirement for evaluating the average true bias and covari-ance with the best available polar estimate, rather than exclusively with the polar measurement. Even though this original algorithm yields better tracking performance than the debiased-CMKF algorithm which evaluates the average true bias and covariance exclusively with the polar measurement, this paper shows the specified requirement compromises the statistical consistency between the debiased converted measurement’s error and the average true covariance. To resolve this apparent contradiction, this paper provides the correct empirical explanation for the tracking-performance improvement obtained by the specified requirement. 展开更多

This paper analyzes propagation characteristics of non-converted and converted refracted waves,and discovers a favor-able condition for the formation of converted refracted wave,i.e. the velocity of overlaying medium S wave is much lower than that of underlying medium S wave. In addition,the paper proposes the static correction method of converted wave based on PPS converted refracted wave,and processes the real three-component seismic data with better results of static correction of converted wave. 展开更多

Lead halide perovskites have drawn extensive attention over recent decades owing to their outstanding photo-electric performances.However,their toxicity and instability are big issues that need to be solved for further commercialization.Herein,we adopt a facile dry ball milling method to synthesize lead-free Cs3Cu2X5(X=I,CI)perovskites with photoluminescence(PL)quantum yield up to 60%.The optical features including broad emission spectrum,large Stokes shift,and long PL lifetime can be attributed to self-trapped exciton recombination.The as-synthesized blue emissive Cs3Cu2I5 and green emissive Cs3Cu2Cl5 lead-free perovskite powders have good thermal stability and photostability.Furthermore,UV-pumped phosphor-converted light-emitting diodes were obtained by using Cs3Cu2I5 and Cs3Cu2Cl5 as phosphors. 展开更多

Tracking problem in spherical coordinates with range rate (Doppler) measurements, which would have errors correlated to the range measurement errors, is investigated in this paper. The converted Doppler measurements, constructed by the product of the Doppler measurements and range measurements, are used to replace the original Doppler measurements. A de-noising method based on an unbiased Kalman filter (KF) is proposed to reduce the converted Doppler measurement errors before updating the target states for the constant velocity (CV) model. The states from the de-noising filter are then combined with the Cartesian states from the converted measurement Kalman filter (CMKF) to produce final state estimates. The nonlinearity of the de-noising filter states are handled by expanding them around the Cartesian states from the CMKF in a Taylor series up to the second order term. In the mean time, the correlation between the two filters caused by the common range measurements is handled by a mini- mum mean squared error (MMSE) estimation-based method. These result in a new tracking filter, CMDN-EKF2. Monte Carlo simulations demonstrate that the proposed tracking filter can provide efficient and robust performance with a modest computa- tional cost. 展开更多

Phonon-assisted upconverted emission is the heart of energy harvesting,bioimaging,optical cryptography,and optical refrigeration.It has been demonstrated that emerging two-dimensional(2D)semiconductors can provide an excellent platform for efficient phonon-assisted upconversion due to the enhanced optical transition strength and phonon-exciton interaction of 2D excitons.However,there is little research on the further enhancement of excitonic upconverted emission in 2D semiconductors.Here,we report the enhanced multiphoton upconverted emission of 2D excitons in doubly resonant plasmonic nanocavities.Owing to the enhanced light collection,enhanced excitation rate,and quantum efficiency enhancement arising from the Purcell effect,an upconverted emission amplification of>1000-fold and a decrease of 2~3 orders of magnitude in the saturated excitation power are achieved.These findings pave the way for the development of excitonic upconversion lasing,nanoscopic thermometry,and sensing,revealing the possibility of optical refrigeration in future 2D electronic or excitonic devices. 展开更多

Vehicles operating in space need to withstand extreme thermal and electromagnetic environments in light of the burgeoning of space science and technology.It is imperatively desired to high insulation materials with lightweight and extensive mechanical properties.Herein,a boron-silica-tantalum ternary hybrid phenolic aerogel(BSiTa-PA)with exceptional thermal stability,extensive mechanical strength,low thermal conductivity(49.6 mW m^(-1)K^(-1)),and heightened ablative resistance is prepared by an expeditious method.After extremely thermal erosion,the obtained carbon aerogel demonstrates noteworthy electromagnetic interference(EMI)shielding performance with an efficiency of 31.6 dB,accompanied by notable loading property with specific modulus of 272.8 kN·m kg^(-1).This novel design concept has laid the foundation for the development of insulation materials in more complex extreme environments. 展开更多

Code converters are essential in digital nano communication;therefore,a low-complexity optimal QCA layout for a BCD to Excess-3 code converter has been proposed in this paper.A QCA clockphase-based design technique was adopted to investigate integration with other complicated circuits.Using a unique XOR gate,the recommended circuit’s cell complexity has been decreased.The findings produced using the QCADesigner-2.0.3,a reliable simulation tool,prove the effectiveness of the current structure over earlier designs by considering the number of cells deployed,the area occupied,and the latency as design metrics.In addition,the popular tool QCAPro was used to estimate the energy dissipation of the proposed design.The proposed technique reduces the occupied space by∼40%,improves cell complexity by∼20%,and reduces energy dissipation by∼1.8 times(atγ=1.5EK)compared to the current scalable designs.This paper also studied the suggested structure’s energy dissipation and compared it to existing works for a better performance evaluation. 展开更多

To address this challenge, we have designed an on-chip TE0–TE1mode converter based on topologically protected waveguide arrays. The simulation results demonstrate that the converter exhibits a mode coupling efficiency of 93.5% near 1550 nm and can tolerate a relative fabrication error of 30%. The traditional automotive catalytic converter using commercial ceramic honeycomb carriers has many problems such as high back pressure,low engine efficiency,and high usage of precious metals.This study proposes a four-channel catalytic micro-reactor based on alumina hollow fiber membrane,which uses phase inversion method for structural molding and regulation.Due to the advantages of its carrier,it can achieve lower ignition temperature under low noble metal loading.With Pd/CeO_(2) at a loading rate of 2.3%(mass),the result showed that the reaction ignition temperature is even less than 160℃,which is more than 90℃ lower than the data of commercial ceramic substrates under similar catalyst loading and airspeed conditions.The technology in turn significantly reduces the energy consumption of the reaction.And stability tests were conducted under constant conditions for 1000 h,which proved that this catalytic converter has high catalytic efficiency and stability,providing prospects for the design of innovative catalytic converters in the future. 展开更多

This paper presents a design of single photon avalanche diode(SPAD)light detection and ranging(LiDAR)sensor with 128×128 pixels and 128 column-parallel time-to-analog-merged-analog-to-digital converts(TA-ADCs).Unlike the conventional TAC-based SPAD LiDAR sensor,in which the TAC and ADC are separately implemented,we propose to merge the TAC and ADC by sharing their capacitors,thus avoiding the analog readout noise of TAC’s output buffer,improving the conversion rate,and reducing chip area.The reverse start-stop logic is employed to reduce the power of the TA-ADC.Fabricated in a 180 nm CMOS process,our prototype sensor exhibits a timing resolution of 25 ps,a DNL of+0.30/−0.77 LSB,an INL of+1.41/−2.20 LSB,and a total power consumption of 190 mW.A flash LiDAR system based on this sensor demonstrates the function of 2D/3D imaging with 128×128 resolution,25 kHz inter-frame rate,and sub-centimeter ranging precision. 展开更多

Extracellular vesicles(EVs)are membranous vesicular structures released from almost all eukaryotic cell types under different physiological or pathological conditions.Growing evidence demonstrates that EVs can serve as mediators of intercellular communication between donor and recipient cells or microorganism-infected and noninfected cells.Coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19)disease is caused by infection of the severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2(SARS-CoV-2)of host cells in the respiratory system and various extra-pulmonary tissue/organs,resulting in complications of multiple organ systems.As the cell surface receptor,angiotensin-converting enzyme 2(ACE2)mediates cellular entry of SARS-CoV-2 into the host cells in patients with COVID-19.Recent studies have found that ACE2 can be released with EVs,which have been shown to interfere with the entry of the virus into host cells and thus may be involved in COVID-19 pathophysiology.In addition,ACE2,neprilysin(NEP),and thimet oligopeptidase(TOP)are the key enzymes that regulate angiotensin metabolism by converting angiotensin II or angiotensin I to angiotensin 1-7,the latter of which has protective effects in counterbalancing the harmful effects of angiotensin II in COVID-19 disease.This review summarizes the recent research progress regarding EV-associated ACE2,NEP,and TOP and the perspectives of their potential involvement in the pathophysiology of COVID-19 disease. 展开更多
