By constructing a cell repair model after photodamage, we evaluated the photoresistance of FermentDFL, a lysate of Bifidus yeast fermentation products, of human immortalized keratinocytes(HaCaT) and human skin fibroblasts(HDF) under UVB and UVA irradiation. The experimental data show that when human cells are damaged by light, Ferment-DFL with a concentration of 5% and 2% can significantly increase the level of cell viability, reduce the content of ROS reactive oxygen species in cells, and promote the secretion of type I collagen. The regeneration experiment evaluates the repair effect of Ferment-DFL, a lysate of two fission yeast fermentation products. At a concentration of 6%, after 48 h, the repairing promotion rate of zebrafish embryo tail fin reaches 15%, which can significantly promote the regeneration of zebrafish embryo tail fin.Promotes repairing effect. 展开更多

Cosmetics made from natural ingredients are becoming more and more common because they contain bioactive compounds that provide many health benefits,are more environmentally friendly and sustainable.Anoectochilus roxburghii(AR)is a precious Chinese herb in China,possessing bioactive components including flavonoids,polysaccharides,volatile oils,kinsenoside,etc.Due to its unique bioactivity and high safety,the prospect of development and utilization is very broad.In this paper,the extraction,separation and purification techniques of AR’s flavonoid,polysaccharides,volatile oils and kinsenoside are briefly summarized.Meanwhile,we discusses their conformational relationships in cosmetics with antioxidant,whitening,antibacterial and soothing effect,and looks forward to the study of Anoectochilus roxburghii in the field of cosmetics,with a view to providing references to the development and utilization of this resource in the field of cosmetics. 展开更多

It aims to investigate the protective effects of sodium hyaluronate,panthenol,Portulaca oleracea L.and Calendula officinalis L.on hyperosmotic dehydration-induced injury of human immortalized keratinocytes(HaCaT).The safety mass concentrations of four raw materials were screened by detecting cell viability,and the secretion of hyaluronic acid(HA)was determined using the ELISA method.The expression of HaCaT barrier function related genes(OVOL1,EREG,TGM1,TGM2,IVL,IRF6,THBS1,CASP14)was detected at the mRNA level to explore the regulatory effect of four raw materials on these genes.The results demonstrate that pretreatment with the four kinds of raw materials could increase the cell viability after hyperosmotic dehydration,promote the secretion of HA,and improve the expression of barrier function related genes after hyperosmotic dehydration,among which panthenol and Calendula officinalis L.are better.The results show that the four raw materials have a certain protective effect on the hyperosmotic dehydration cell model,which provides data support for its application in cosmetics. 展开更多
