Research on the Status Quo of Psychological Crisis Among College Students in Ethnic Areas

The article discusses the significance of the research,and outlines the concepts of psychological crisis,its intervention,and psychological crisis among college students,as well as relevant theories on psychological crisis.The research mainly adopts case study and interview methods.Through scientific analysis of psychological crisis cases in four grades of X College in ethnic regions,it summarizes the current situation of crisis psychology among X College students,hoping to provide some first-hand data and research ideas for relevant researchers.

Evolution and spatiotemporal analysis of earthquake public opinion based on social media data

As critical conduits for the dissemination of online public opinion,social media platforms offer a timely and effective means for managing emergencies during major disasters,such as earthquakes.This study focuses on the analysis of online public opinions following the Maduo M7.4 earthquake in Qinghai Province and the Yangbi M6.4 earthquake in Yunnan Province.By collecting,cleaning,and organizing post-earthquake Sina Weibo(short for Weibo)data,we employed the Latent Dirichlet Allocation(LDA)model to extract information pertinent to public opinion on these earthquakes.This analysis included a comparison of the nature and temporal evolution of online public opinions related to both events.An emotion analysis,utilizing an emotion dictionary,categorized the emotional content of post-earthquake Weibo posts,facilitating a comparative study of the characteristics and temporal trends of online public emotions following the earthquakes.The findings were visualized using Geographic Information System(GIS)techniques.The analysis revealed certain commonalities in online public opinion following both earthquakes.Notably,the peak of online engagement occurred within the first 24 hours post-earthquake,with a rapid decline observed between 24 to 48 hours thereafter.The variation in popularity of online public opinion was linked to aftershock occurrences.Adjusted for population factors,online engagement in areas surrounding the earthquake sites and in Sichuan Province was significantly high.Initially dominated by feelings of“fear”and“surprise”,the public sentiment shifted towards a more positive outlook with the onset of rescue operations.However,distinctions in the online public response to each earthquake were also noted.Following the Yangbi earthquake,Yunnan Province reported the highest number of Weibo posts nationwide;in contrast,Qinghai Province ranked third post-Maduo earthquake,attributable to its smaller population size and extensive damage to communication infrastructure.This research offers a methodological approach for the analysis of online public opinion related to earthquakes,providing insights for the enhancement of post-disaster emergency management and public mental health support.

Ultra-brief crisis interpersonal psychotherapy based intervention for suicidal children and adolescents

Suicidal behaviors in adolescence are a major public health concern.The dramatic rise in self-injurious behaviors among adolescents has led to an overwhelming increase in the number of those presenting to the emergency rooms.The intervention described below was constructed on the basis of brief and focused interventions that were found to be effective among suicidal adults using an adaptation of interpersonal psychotherapy for adolescents.The intervention has four main objectives:first,a focused treatment for reducing suicide risk;second,a short and immediate response;third,building a treatment plan based on understanding the emotional distress and interpersonal aspects underlying suicidal behavior;and lastly,to generate hope among adolescents and their parents.The intervention includes intensive five weekly sessions,followed by 3 mo of email follow-up.

The Role of Flow in Crisis Intervention and Emotional Counseling in Tree-Hole Rescue

Flow is the experience of working full time and enjoying the flow of your life,regardless of the rewards,like a flowing stream of water.Based on the literature review,this paper discusses the role of flow in the actual rescue work,combined with the actual work of the rescue mission in the tree hole baby crisis intervention and emotional counseling and accompanying.The effect of flow intervention is positive.It can reduce the rumination of young tree hole babies and increase and enhance their sense of life meaning and subjective well-being.Since the term“Flow”is rarely used in the process of intervention,this paper also looks forward to the further application of flow intervention.

上海市精神卫生专科医院心理应急管理现状研究

目的 了解新型冠状病毒肺炎疫情影响下上海市精神卫生专科医院心理应急管理现状及面临的主要问题,为建立健全精神卫生专科医院心理应急管理体系提供对策和建议。方法 采用定量研究和定性研究相结合的方法,面向上海市18家精神卫生中心的心理危机干预管理人员及272名心理危机干预队伍成员开展问卷调查,选取24名心理危机干预相关工作人员进行访谈。结果 (1)管理设置方面,18家医院中仅上海市精神卫生中心设置了独立的心理危机干预办公室,15家(83.3%)已制定心理应急总体干预方案或预案,11家(61.1%)已建立健全心理应急管理相关制度,12家(66.7%)配备心理危机干预工作经费。(2)队伍建设方面,心理危机干预队员以兼职为主(84.9%),年龄主要在35~<45岁(47.8%),96.3%的队员具有大学本科及以上学历,所学专业以精神医学为主(40.4%),85.7%的队员具有心理咨询师资格证书,40.1%的队员具有突发公共卫生事件心理危机干预经验,81.3%的队员能够有效处理创伤后心理问题。(3)心理应急管理过程中存在的主要问题包括队员压力过大、能力水平参差不齐、队伍人手不足和保障机制不完善4个方面。结论 目前,上海市已初步形成心理危机干预体系,但在管理机制和队伍建设方面仍存在不足。建议进一步完善心理危机干预体系管理机制和人才队伍建设。

Reflection:A Critical Look at Escaping Secondary Traumatic Stress Experienced by Law Enforcement Officers

Despite the stigma that is associated with law enforcement officers receiving mental health resources and treatment to combat secondary traumatic stress,it is widely the most effective form for recovery and having a fulfilling career.Law enforcement officers are superheroes and,they are known for saving the day.That is why it is critical for mental health offerings to be normalized in law enforcement agencies and constant evaluation of the psychological and cognitive well-being of officers.Unfortunately,the stress of the profession will not go away,but having resources and incentives to address several factors that officers face will assist with their overall feeling about the important work they do.As such,it is recommended that law enforcement agencies adopt programs to treat secondary traumatic stress,such as Critical Incident Stress Debriefing,Peer-Support Program,and Crisis Intervention Team.While there is no perfect program,these programs are designed to reduce the risk of serious injury or death during an emergency interaction between citizens and law enforcement officers.Ultimately,it is the responsibility of those charged with protecting law enforcement officers to understand the stress and how it affects the mind and body of those officers in managing life,work,and citizens.

Recommended psychological crisis intervention response to the 2019 novel coronavirus pneumonia outbreak in China:a model of West China Hospital

The novel coronavirus pneumonia(COVID-19)epidemic has brought serious social psychological impact to the Chinese people,especially those quarantined and thus with limited access to face-to-face communication and traditional social psychological interventions.To better deal with the urgent psychological problems of people involved in the COVID-19 epidemic,we developed a new psychological crisis intervention model by utilizing internet technology.This new model,one of West China Hospital,integrates physicians,psychiatrists,psychologists and social workers into Internet platforms to carry out psychological intervention to patients,their families and medical staff.We hope this model will make a sound basis for developing a more comprehensive psychological crisis intervention response system that is applicable for urgent social and psychological problems.

A Study on Current Situation of Psychological Crisis Intervention in Public Emergencies

Public emergencies exert a significant impact on the mental health of the people,while psychological crisis intervention can efficiently improve the level of the mental health. The existing psychological crisis intervention in China has weakness in organization system,budget input,human resources,social cognition,and other aspects. The psychological crisis intervention work in the future can be performed by actively perfecting the organization management system of psychological crisis intervention,increasing the budget input,strengthening the construction of psychological intervention teams,improving the level of social cognition,and so on.
