Shot peening is a surface modification technology with the metal surface nano machine(SNC),which can modify the surface microstructure and extend the fatigue life of Cu-19Ni alloy.The hardness,damage evolution and mechanical properties were investigated and characterized by scanning electron microscope(SEM),laser confocal microscope(LSM)and material surface performance tester(CFT).The results showed that the surface roughness and friction coefficient of Cu-19Ni alloy decreased with the increase of shot peening duration and diameter,while the microhardness and strength increased.Moreover,with the increase in shot peening duration and diameter,SEM observation showed that the fracture dimples became smaller,meanwhile,with the increase of small cleavage planes,shear tearing ridges and the thickness of the surface nano layer,the fracture mode gradually evolved from plastic to brittle fracture.The uniaxial tensile test of shot peened Cu-19Ni alloy was carried out by MTS testing machine combined with digital image correlation technology(DIC).The evolution of Cu-19Ni surface damage was analyzed,and the evolution equations describing the damage of large deformation zone and small deformation zone were established.The effect of shot peening on the damage evolution behavior of Cu-19Ni alloy was revealed. 展开更多

采用大应力塑性变形(机械冲击)技术对Cu-30Ni合金表面进行纳米化处理。利用原子力显微镜技术、纳米压痕试样、显微硬度测量、电化学分析和电子功函数等手段分别测试原始样品、大应力塑性变形纳米化处理样品的晶粒尺寸、力学性能、腐蚀... 采用大应力塑性变形(机械冲击)技术对Cu-30Ni合金表面进行纳米化处理。利用原子力显微镜技术、纳米压痕试样、显微硬度测量、电化学分析和电子功函数等手段分别测试原始样品、大应力塑性变形纳米化处理样品的晶粒尺寸、力学性能、腐蚀性能。结果表明,与原始样品相比,大应力塑性变形纳米化处理样品的表面晶粒尺寸达到40nm;力学性能显著改善。电化学测试表明,表面纳米化提高了合金的耐腐蚀性能,耐腐蚀性能变化与电子功函数变化一致。机械冲击工艺技术能够使Cu-30Ni合金表面纳米化,从而提高了表面力学性能和耐腐蚀性能。 展开更多

Some azoles were tested such as 3-amino-1,2,4-triazole (ATA), 3-4’-bitriazole -1,2,4 (BiTA)and 2-Mercaptobenzimidazole (MBI) against Cu-30Ni alloy corrosion in 3%NaCl polluted by ammonia using potentiodynamic measurements and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy and non-electrochemical techniques (scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM)) studied surface morphology has been used to characterize electrode surface. This study permitted to follow the evolution of the inhibitory effect of some azoles, on Cu-30Ni alloy corrosion in 3%NaCl polluted by ammonia and indicate that the tested inhibitors act as a good mixed-type inhibitor retarding the anodic and cathodic reactions. An increase of the inhibitors concentration leads to a decrease of corrosion rate and inhibition efficiency increase. 展开更多

Undercooling heredity of Cu_(70)Ni_(30) melt solidified in non-catalytic nucleation coated mould

A new concept of undercooling heredity is developed to evaluate the undercooling ability in a non catalytic nucleation coated mould, where alloy melts were highly undercooled previously. Before the heredity experiment a non catalytic nucleation composite glass lined coating (B F) was prepared on the inner surface of mould and the Cu 70 Ni 30 alloy was selected to perform undercooling experiment in the B F non catalytic coating mould. Its ratio of undercooling heredity was 0.76. The results prove that the B F coating is an ideal non catalytic media for purified Cu 70 Ni 30 alloy melts due to its small contact angle between the melt and coating layer. Considering that various microstructures form under different undercoolings, two critical undercoolings, Δ T 1 and Δ T 2, and their corresponding microstructures of Cu 70 Ni 30 alloy are well defined. Moreover, it is found that the manned trigging solidification in the non catalytic coating mould could be used to get directional undercooling dendrite structure while the melt undercooling is larger than the critical undercooling Δ T 2. 展开更多

70Cu-30Ni合金管FeSO_(4)预成膜及冲刷腐蚀行为分析

通过动态FeSO_(4)溶液冲刷在70Cu-30Ni合金管内壁形成稳定的FeSO_(4)预成膜层,并通过不同速率的动态海水冲刷试验,研究预成膜层的耐海水冲刷腐蚀行为。FeSO_(4)预成膜实验结果显示,在200 mg/L FeSO_(4)溶液0.5 m/s流速下经历4 d冲刷,70C... 通过动态FeSO_(4)溶液冲刷在70Cu-30Ni合金管内壁形成稳定的FeSO_(4)预成膜层,并通过不同速率的动态海水冲刷试验,研究预成膜层的耐海水冲刷腐蚀行为。FeSO_(4)预成膜实验结果显示,在200 mg/L FeSO_(4)溶液0.5 m/s流速下经历4 d冲刷,70Cu-30Ni合金管内壁形成一层淡黄色金属光泽膜层,随着时间增加,膜层颜色加深,厚度增加;30 d时,会形成底层NiO-Ni(OH)_(2)层,中间层Cu_(2)O-FeOOH致密层和表层Fe_(2)O_(3)-FeOOH疏松层的复合膜层。3个月周期的动态海水冲刷腐蚀试验结果显示,经历动态海水冲刷后,0.5和1.5 m/s低冲刷流速下试样的预成膜层保存较完整,仅出现轻微疏松层减薄现象;2.5 m/s高冲刷流速条件下,预成膜膜层局部位置存在疏松层剥离现象。XPS分析显示,高冲刷流速下,耐蚀膜层中Ni含量略有增加,Cu_(2)O在Cu组分中的含量增加,FeOOH含量在Fe组分中增加。电化学测试显示,随着冲刷流速的增加,预成膜层的电荷传递阻抗逐渐减小,由0.5 m/s状态下的2.28×10^(5)Ω·cm^(2),减小到2.5 m/s时的6.51×10^(4)Ω·cm^(2)。70Cu-30Ni合金管FeSO_(4)预成膜层组成为NiO-Ni(OH)_(2)/Cu_(2)O-FeOOH/Fe_(2)O_(3);随着冲刷速率的增加,合金管局部腐蚀现象更加显著。 展开更多

Experiments of X-ray diffraction for liquid Cu70Ni30 alloy above and below its liquidus (1 230℃) have been carried out. By the analysis of experimental results, it is discovered that difference between structures of liquid and undercooled Cu70Ni30 alloy is their cluster sizes. The correlation radius of cluster is 1.125 nm and the atom number of cluster is 403 at 1 250-1 400℃, and they are 1.3 nm and 704 respectively at the undercooled liquid state (1 200℃). The structure of liquid alloy is fee short order and its solid structure, fcc, is kept from liquid fcc short order. 展开更多

A molecular dynamics (MD) simulation study has been performed for the rapid solidification of Cu70Ni30 adopting the quantum Sutton-Chen many-body potentials. By analyzing the bond-types and the relation of atomic average energy versus temperature, it was demonstrated that as cooling rate being 2 × 1012 K/s, the Cu70Ni30 formed fcc crystal structures and freezing point was found. In addition, having analyzed the transformation of microstructures and the detail of crystal growth by using atomic trace and visual method, not only could the formation of binary disordered solid solution be showed, but also the solidification of liquid metals and the crystal growth processes could be further understood. 展开更多

利用Gleeble热力模拟、EBSD和TEM等方法,研究了Ni-30%Fe合金热变形后奥氏体的亚动态软化行为,分析了微观亚结构演化对奥氏体亚动态软化机制的影响。结果表明,亚结构恢复和亚动态再结晶是奥氏体亚动态软化的2种主要机制。当奥氏体内发生... 利用Gleeble热力模拟、EBSD和TEM等方法,研究了Ni-30%Fe合金热变形后奥氏体的亚动态软化行为,分析了微观亚结构演化对奥氏体亚动态软化机制的影响。结果表明,亚结构恢复和亚动态再结晶是奥氏体亚动态软化的2种主要机制。当奥氏体内发生部分动态再结晶时,再结晶晶粒与变形基体间的储能差较大,热变形后保温过程的软化首先是通过亚动态再结晶进行;同时,变形基体内亚结构的恢复会逐渐降低变形基体内的形变储能,使晶界迁移速率降低而抑制亚动态再结晶的继续进行。而当奥氏体内动态再结晶发生完全时,在热变形后的保温过程中,再结晶晶粒内部因持续变形而形成的小角度亚结构会通过快速恢复而大量分解,形成不均匀的高密度位错会促进大角度晶界的局部迁移,从而促进晶粒的粗化,加速材料软化。 展开更多

Liquid structure of molten pure Cu, Cu-12Al, Cu-12Al-4Ni (mass fraction, %) alloys has been investigated using the X-ray diffraction method. It is found that the main peak of the structure factor of pure Cu is symmetrical. In the front of main peak, the curve takes on a shape of parabola, whereas a distinct pre-peak has been found around a scattering vector magnitude of 18.5 nm-1 in the structure factor of the liquid Cu-12Al alloy. This pre-peak increases its inten-sity with the addition of Ni in the liquid Cu-12Al-4Ni alloy. The appearance of a pre-peak is a mark of the mediate-range order. Based on Daken-Gurry theory and according to mu-tual interaction between unlike atoms, the analysis of corre-lation between different composition and liquid structure was done: the strong interaction exists between Cu and Ni, so Cu-Al can form strong chemical bond which causes compound-forming behavior.
