We first discretize the differential equation of the secondary potential field with mixed boundary conditions by using a seven-point finite-difference method to obtain a large sparse system of linear equations. Then, we introduce the theory behind the pairwise aggregation algorithms for AGMG and use the conjugate-gradient method with the V-cycle AGMG preconditioner (AGMG-CG) to solve the linear equations. We use typical geoelectrical models to test the proposed AGMG-CG method and compare the results with analytical solutions and the 3DDCXH algorithm for 3D DC modeling (3DDCXH). In addition, we apply the AGMG-CG method to different grid sizes and geoelectrical models and compare it to different iterative methods, such as ILU-BICGSTAB, ILU-GCR, and SSOR-CG. The AGMG-CG method yields nearly linearly decreasing errors, whereas the number of iterations increases slowly with increasing grid size. The AGMG-CG method is precise and converges fast, and thus can improve the computational efficiency in forward modeling of three-dimensional DC resistivity.展开更多

However, multiattributes are not effectively used in 3D modeling. To solve this problem, we propose a novel method for building of 3D model of geological anomalies based on the segmentation of multiattribute fusion. First, we divide the seismic attributes into edge- and region-based seismic attributes. Then, the segmentation model incorporating the edge- and region-based models is constructed within the levelset- based framework. Finally, the marching cubes algorithm is adopted to extract the zero level set based on the segmentation results and build the 3D model of the geological anomaly. Combining the edge-and region-based attributes to build the segmentation model, we satisfy the independence requirement and avoid the problem of insufficient data of single seismic attribute in capturing the boundaries of geological anomalies. We apply the proposed method to seismic data from the Sichuan Basin in southwestern China and obtain 3D models of caves and channels. Compared with 3D models obtained based on single seismic attributes, the results are better agreement with reality.展开更多

The surface of whole garment is sequent and glossy so that it is lack of the texture characteristic which is the key of digital 3D modeling. According to this reason, the structure illumination is steered into a method of this paper. The paper proposes the method by which 3D model of whole garment is created from 2D image sequences directly but not by the common techniques using general CAD model. In the paper the structure illumination is generated by the slide projector and the modeling of whole garment is based on the strict theory of the digital photogrammetry, computer vision and image processing pattern recognition. Because whole garment is lack of the applicable texture for matching, the characteristic texture generated by the structure illumination is added onto the surface of whole garment. After the characteristic texture is extracted from images and is matched well, 3D coordinates of the characteristic texture can be calculated out by the space forward intersection. Then the whole garment model is acquired by connecting all neighhour space points in the TIN and rendering the real texture of whole garment automatically. The 3D modeling method is untouched so that it is nondestructive which is just suitable for the messaline and the clothing. The method of whole garment 3D modeling proposed in the paper is flexible, effective and practical, which is confirmed by the results of the reconstructing experiments.展开更多

The multi-source data interpretation method put forward in this analysis is based on a database-driven pattern and focuses on the discrete and irregular features of geological data. The geological data from a variety of sources covering a range of accuracy, resolution, quantity and quality are classified and integrated according to their reliability and consistency for 3D modeling. The new interpolation-approximation fitting construction algorithm of geological surfaces with the non-uniform rational B-spline(NURBS) technique is then presented. The NURBS technique can retain the balance among the requirements for accuracy, surface continuity and data storage of geological structures. Finally, four alternative 3D modeling approaches are demonstrated with reference to some examples, which are selected according to the data quantity and accuracy specification. The proposed approaches offer flexible modeling patterns for different practical engineering demands.展开更多

文摘The traditional ground direct current method is not suitable for leakage detection of underground diaphragm walls in foundation pits because of its low accuracy and poor anti-noise ability. Here,we propose a joint surface-borehole observation device for leakage electric fi eld detection to achieve rapid measurement of the electric fi eld distribution characteristics at ground level in the foundation pit, thus enabling rapid localization of leakage points. We first establish the mechanism and basic equation of the leakage electric field response by combining the electric field formed by electrokinetic effect(EK)and the stable electric fi eld formed by conduction current in a combined leakage channel. Then, the fi nite–infi nite element coupling method is used to solve the electric fi eld equation to simulate the responses of a three-dimensional foundation pit leakage model.Furthermore,we conduct numerical simulations of diff erent pit models to investigate the infl uencing factors of the detection device and response characteristics of the change in the properties of the leakage channel. The results demonstrate that the proposed joint surface-borehole observation device can effi ciently reveal anomalous potential caused by leakage, and the amplitude of the electric fi eld generated by EK can eff ectively strengthen the leakage electric fi eld signal at the leakage, thus improving detection accuracy and effi ciency.

文摘We present a method for computed tomography(CT)image processing and modeling for tibia microstructure, achieved by using computer graphics and fractal theory.Given the large-scale image data of tibia species with DICOM standard for clinical applications,we take advantage of algorithms such as image binarization, hot pixel removing and close operation to obtain visually clear image for tibia microstructure. All of these images are based on 20 CT scanning images with 30μm slice thickness and 30μm interval and continuous changes in pores. For each pore,we determine its profile by using an improved algorithm for edge detection. Then,to calculate its three-dimensional fractal dimension,we measure the circumference perimeter and area of the pores of bone microstructure using a line fitting method based on the least squares.Subsequently,we put forward an algorithm for the pore profiles through ellipse fitting. The results show that the pores have significant fractal characteristics because of the good linear correlation between the perimeter and the area parameters in log–log scale coordinates system, and the ratio of the elliptical short axis to the long axis through ellipse fitting tends to 0.6501.Based on support vector machine and structural risk minimization principle,we put forward a mapping database theory of structure parameters among the pores of CT images and fractal dimension,Poisson’s ratios, porosity and equivalent aperture. On this basis,we put forward a new concept for 3D modeling called precision-measuring digital expressing to reconstruct tibia microstructure for human hard tissue.

文摘3D modeling of geological bodies based on 3D seismic data is used to define the shape and volume of the bodies, which then can be directly applied to reservoir prediction, reserve estimation, and exploration. Compared with 3D models obtained based on single seismic attributes, the results are better agreement with reality.

文摘Mobile laser scanning(MLS)systems mainly comprise laser scanners and mobile mapping platforms.Typical MLS systems can acquire three-dimensional point clouds with 1-10cm point spacings at a normal driving or walking speed in streets or indoor environments. The efficiency and stability of these systems make them extremely useful for application in three-dimensional urban modeling. This paper reviews the latest advances of the LiDAR-based mobile mapping system(MMS)point cloud in the field of 3D modeling, including LiDAR simultaneous localization and mapping, point cloud registration, feature extraction, object extraction, semantic segmentation, and processing using deep learning.Furthermore, typical urban modeling applications based on MMS are also discussed.
文摘In the last issue, two case reports separately present examples of the extremely rare and complex congenital heart diseases that show concordant atrioventricular connections to the L-looped ventricles in the presence of situs solitus. Both cases highlight that the relationship between the two ventricles within the ventricular mass is not always harmonious with the given atrioventricular connection.Such disharmony between the connections and relationships requires careful assessment of the three basic facets of cardiac building blocks, namely their morphology, the relationship of their component parts, and their connections with the adjacent segments.3D imaging and printing can now facilitate an otherwise difficult diagnosis in such complex situations.Rotation of either the 3D images or the models permit accurate assessment of the ventricular topologic pattern by creating the right ventricular en-face septal view, thus facilitating placement of the observer’s hands. As we now emphasize,an alternative approach, which might prove more attractive to imagers,is to rotate the ventricular mass to provide the ventricular apical view, thus permitting determination of the ventricular relationship without using the hands.
文摘With the coming of information age and the development of computer science, digitalization of whole garment is becoming more and more important. The method of whole garment 3D modeling proposed in the paper is flexible, effective and practical, which is confirmed by the results of the reconstructing experiments.

文摘Frequency-domain airborne electromagnetics is a proven geophysical exploration method.Presently, the interpretation is mainly based on resistivity-depth imaging and onedimensional layered inversion;nevertheless,it is difficult to obtain satisfactory results for two- or three-dimensional complex earth structures using 1D methods.3D forward modeling and inversion can be used but are hampered by computational limitations because of the large number of data. Thus,we developed a 2.5D frequency-domain airborne electromagnetic forward modeling and inversion algorithm. To eliminate the source singularities in the numerical simulations,we split the fields into primary and secondary fields. The primary fields are calculated using homogeneous or layered models with analytical solutions, and the secondary(scattered) fields are solved by the finite-element method. The linear system of equations is solved by using the large-scale sparse matrix parallel direct solver, which greatly improves the computational efficiency. The inversion algorithm was based on damping leastsquares and singular value decomposition and combined the pseudo forward modeling and reciprocity principle to compute the Jacobian matrix.Synthetic and field data were used to test the effectiveness of the proposed method.

文摘Due to the complex nature of multi-source geological data, it is difficult to rebuild every geological structure through a single 3D modeling method. The proposed approaches offer flexible modeling patterns for different practical engineering demands.
