The spatial order of architecture has been significantly impacted by digital architectural design and production, creating a dynamic uncertainty. This study aims to explore digital architecture from the perspective of spatial order, discussing the antidote/poison effect caused by digital technologies in architectural practice and the cultural digital changes in digital architectures. The study selected four digital architecture cases, including the(W)rapper at Los Angeles by Eric Owen Moss,Beijing Daxing International Airport by Zaha Hadid,3D Print Niaokan Bridge by Xu Weiguo, and World Internet Conference Center by Yuan Feng. This study is hypothesising that the future special order of digital architectures will be a dynamic and balanced new spatial order. This new order includes the symbiosis of a human-machine and virtual-real hierarchy;the interactive co-existence between nature, humanity and technology;and the creative multi-immersive sharing of parametric information,built-environment resources and cultural artistic information. The evolution of spatial order of future digital architecture will be discussed in connection with the idea of the metaverse. The value of this work is its ability to inspire a broader examination of the new order of digital architectural space. 展开更多

Assessment using Bloom’s taxonomy levels has evolved in a variety of contexts and uses.In the era of the COVID-19 pandemic, which necessitates use of online assessment, the need for teachers to use digital-based taxonomy skills or Bloom’s Digital Taxonomy(BDT)has increased even more. However, the existing studies on validity and reliability of BDT items are limited. To overcome this limitation, this study aims to test whether BDT has good psychometric characteristics as a teacher’s self-assessment tool using the Rasch model analysis and to investigate the pattern of BDT usage in teaching and learning.By using a quantitative online survey design, this study involves six levels of BDT,namely,Remembering,Understanding,Applying,Analyzing,Evaluating, and Creating. The questionnaire was developed and validated by two experts prior to administration.A stratified random sampling technique was conducted on 774 secondary teachers from five geographical zones in Malaysia, and the Rasch model was analyzed using WINSTEPS 3.71 software. The performances of items improved by Rasch psychometric assessment including the application of BDT among teachers. The hierarchy level was also assessed through graphical analysis, including the Wright map and bubble chart,to demonstrate the powerful performance of the Rasch model analysis in investigating item quality and reliability.Overall, these empirically validated items using the Rasch model could advance the academic knowledge of BDT for future assessment and promote the Rasch calibration in an educational setting. 展开更多

Digital Earth(DE)is a powerful metaphor for the organisation and access to digital information through a multi-scale three-dimensional representation of the globe.Recent progress gave a concrete body to this vision. However, this body is not yet self-aware:further integration of the temporal and voluntary dimension is needed to better portray the event-based nature of our world. We thus aim to extend DE vision with a Nervous System in order to provide decision makers with improved alerting mechanisms.Practical applications are foreseen for crisis management, where up-to-date situational awareness is needed. While it is traditionally built through trusted sources, citizens can play a complementary role by providing geo-referenced information known as Volunteered Geographic Information(VGI).Although workflows have been implemented to create, validate and distribute VGI datasets for various thematic domains, its exploitation in real time and its integration into existing concepts of DE,such as spatial data infrastructures, still needs to be further addressed. In this paper we suggest to bridge this gap through Sensor Web Enablement for VGI,where VGI sensing becomes a sense of the DE’s Nervous System. We discuss this approach and its applicability in the context of a forest fire scenario. 展开更多

The objective of this study was to assess the regulatory framework for health data in Indonesia in order to understand the policy context and explore the possibility of expanding the adoption and implementation of the FAIR Guidelines, which state that data should be Findable,Accessible,Interoperable and Reusable(FAIR),in Indonesia.Although the FAIR Guidelines were not explicitly mentioned in any of the policy documents relevant to the Indonesian digital health sector, six out of the eight documents analysed contained FAIR Equivalent principles. In particular,Indonesia’s Population Identification Number(NIK)has the potential,as a unique identifier,to support the integration and interoperability(findability)of data, which is crucial to all other aspects of the FAIR Guidelines. There is also a plan to build standards and protocols into the implementation of information systems in each ministry and government agency to improve data accessibility(accessibility),the integration of the various information systems is planned/ongoing(interoperability),and the need for a standardised arrangement for health information systems related to health data following the community standard is recognised(reusability). The documents at the core of Indonesia’s digital health/e Health policy have the highest FAIR Equivalency Score(FE-Score),showing some degree of alignment between the Indonesian digital health implementation vision and the FAIR Guidelines. This indicates that Indonesia’s digital health sector is open to using the FAIR Guidelines. 展开更多
