They are commercially valuable and prized as a food and folk medicine in Asia. Nutritionally, sea cucumbers have an impressive profile of valuable nutrients such as vitamins, minerals and amino acids. A number of unique biological and pharmacological activities/properties, including anticancer, anticoagulant/antithrombotic, antimicrobial, antioxidant, antihyperlipidemic, antihyperglycemic, anti-inflammatory, antihypertension and radioprotective, have been ascribed to various compounds isolated from sea cucumbers. The therapeutic properties and medicinal benefits of sea cucumbers can be linked to the presence of a wide array ofbioactives, especially triterpene glycosides, acid mucopolysaccharide, sphingoid bases, glycolipids, fucosylated chondroitin sulfate, polysaccharides, phospholipids, cerebrosides, phosphatidylcholines, and other extracts and hydrolysates. This review highlights the valuable bioactive components as well as the multiple therapeutic properties of sea cucumbers with a view to exploring their potential uses as functional foods and a natural source of new multifunctional drugs.展开更多
目的分析糖尿病肾病(DN)特点,评价复方黄芪汤与骨化三醇联合治疗的预后效果。方法92例DN患者,随机分为对照组与观察组,各46例。对照组采用骨化三醇治疗,观察组在对照组基础上联合复方黄芪汤治疗。对比两组治疗效果、治疗前后血糖[空腹血...目的分析糖尿病肾病(DN)特点,评价复方黄芪汤与骨化三醇联合治疗的预后效果。方法92例DN患者,随机分为对照组与观察组,各46例。对照组采用骨化三醇治疗,观察组在对照组基础上联合复方黄芪汤治疗。对比两组治疗效果、治疗前后血糖[空腹血糖(FBG)、餐后2 h血糖(2 h PG)、糖化血红蛋白(HbA1c)]与肾功能指标[血肌酐(Scr)、尿素氮(BUN)、尿白蛋白(ALB)]水平。结果观察组治疗总有效率95.65%高于对照组的78.26%,差异有统计学意义(P<0.05)。治疗后,观察组FBG(6.50±0.80)mmol/L、2 h PG(9.75±1.05)mmol/L、HbA1c(5.99±1.06)%、Scr(83.30±8.20)μmol/L、BUN(6.42±0.80)mmol/L、尿ALB(0.35±0.10)mg/ml水平均明显优于对照组的(7.45±1.50)mmol/L、(11.30±1.20)mmol/L、(7.45±1.20)%、(88.80±8.50)μmol/L、(7.50±1.02)mmol/L、(0.88±0.15)mg/ml,差异均有统计学意义(P<0.05)。结论复方黄芪汤联合骨化三醇治疗DN效果显著,有助于控制患者血糖水平、改善肾功能。展开更多
