Bolzano Traffic: An Example of Open ITS Deployment for Advanced Traveller Information Services

This paper aims to present the experience gathered in the Italian alpine city of Bolzano within the project“Bolzano Traffic”whose goal is the introduction of an experimental open ITS platform for local service providers,fostering the diffusion of advanced traveller information services and the future deployment of cooperative mobility systems in the region.Several end-users applications targeted to the needs of different user groups have been developed in collaboration with local companies and research centers;a partnership with the EU Co-Cities project has been activated as well.The implemented services rely on real-time travel and traffic information collected by urban traffic monitoring systems or published by local stakeholders(e.g.public transportation operators).An active involvement of end-users,who have recently started testing these demo applications for free,is actually on-going.

Geospatial Information Service Based on Ad Hoc Network

The mobile geospatial information service involves the domain of mobile communication, mobile computing, geospatial information service and other techniques. This paper focuses on the integration of spatial information and mobile communication technologies. The author proposes the architecture of mobile geospatial information service based on the Ad Hoc network. On the basis of this architecture, a system is developed, and applied in correlative fields.

Urban Traffic Information Service Application Grid

Traffic information processing is very complicated because of dynamic, cooperative and distributed features. This paper describes the prototype system version 2.0 of Urban Traffic Information Service Application Grid (UTISAG), which is based on the previous version. In this version, a new architecture and more enhanced services are introduced, The. remarkable characteristic of the new system is providing dynamic information services for travelers by grid technology. Therefore, the key research includes integrating large multi-source traffic data, forecasting route status, simulating regional traffic flow parallelly, and implementing optimum dynamic travel scheme based on massive GPS data.

Application and research of global grid database design based on geographic information

Energy crisis and climate change have become two seriously concerned issues universally. As a feasible solution, Global Energy Interconnection(GEI) has been highly praised and positively responded by the international community once proposed by China. From strategic conception to implementation, GEI development has entered a new phase of joint action now. Gathering and building a global grid database is a prerequisite for conducting research on GEI. Based on the requirement of global grid data management and application, combining with big data and geographic information technology, this paper studies the global grid data acquisition and analysis process, sorts out and designs the global grid database structure supporting GEI research, and builds a global grid database system.

EASE-Grid投影风云卫星产品地理信息写入方法

风云卫星遥感数据服务网的卫星遥感产品数据集中,风云三系列气象卫星遥感产品数据集中很多采用的是等面积可伸缩地球网格(EASE-Grid)投影方式进行处理,实际应用中对使用者具有较高的数据处理能力要求,不利于遥感产品数据集的省级应用。基于数据集使用中的这些问题,该文以FY3D雪水当量数据集产品为例,采用程序化方法对EASE-Grid投影产品数据集的地理信息进行写入,通过构建地理坐标系参考对象和地理信息目录,将数据矩阵中写入地理信息并以GeoTiff格式文件输出。结果表明,经过该方法处理过的产品数据可与矢量文件实现准确的经纬度信息的匹配,降低了数据分析处理的难度。该方法具有较好的适用性,对于EASE-Grid的三种不同的投影方式均适用,可在一定程度上提高卫星遥感产品数据集的省级科研与应用水平。

Environmental Information Governance Reform in the Era of Big Data--From Information Disclosure to Public Service

The development of environmental information governance includes three phases: providing for oneself,information disclosure,and public service. And then China is in the transition and transformation of environmental information disclosure to the environmental information public service. The core of the transformation is public participation,in the whole procedure of environmental information supply decision making,production,and quality supervision and evaluation,etc. The target path of the environmental information governance reform includes five parts: improvement of public satisfaction,optimizing information disclosure,information quality control,integration of information resources,and multiple supply.

Information Security in the Cloud: Emerging Trends and Challenges

This article explores the evolution of cloud computing, its advantages over traditional on-premises infrastructure, and its impact on information security. The study presents a comprehensive literature review covering various cloud infrastructure offerings and security models. Additionally, it deeply analyzes real-life case studies illustrating successful cloud migrations and highlights common information security threats in current cloud computing. The article concludes by offering recommendations to businesses to protect themselves from cloud data breaches and providing insights into selecting a suitable cloud services provider from an information security perspective.

Information Assurance Technique for Mitigation of Data Breaches in the Human Service Sector

This research paper analyzes data breaches in the human service sector. The hypothesis for the solution to this problem is that there will be a significant reduction in data breaches in the human service sector due to an increase in information assurance. The hypothesis is tested using data from the United States Department of Health and Human Services data breach notification repository during January 2018-December 2020. Our result shows that without the increased mitigation of information assurance, data breaches in the human service sector will continue to increase.

An Efficient Grid Service Discovery Mechanism Based on the Locality Principle

With the explosion of services in grid environment, it＇s necessary to develop a mechanism which has the ability of discovering suitable grid services efficiently. This paper attempts to establish a layered resource management model based on the locality principle which classifies services into different domains and virtual organizations （VOs） according to their shared purposes. We propose an ontologybased search method applying the ontology theory for characterizing semantic information. In addition, we extend the UD- D1 in querying, storing, and so on. Simulation experiments have shown that our mechanism achieves higher performance in precision, recall and query response time.

A Compositive Information Collection Platform System Based on Web Service

The aim is to solve the problem that how to share dispersive and heterogeneous data inside business information system or some other information source. On the basis of Web service, this paper adopts the notion of Data As ,Service to build service-oriented data integration architecture. According to this architecture, we develop data collection system which effectively integrates data from heterogeneous informa tion source and present a uniform data view to end users by implementing sharing data from heterogeneous systems and information source . At last, this paper gives an example of a compositive information collection platform system.

TThe Geographic Information Grid System Based on Mobile Agent

We analyze the deficiencies of current application systems, and discuss the key requirements of distributed Geographie Information serviee （GIS）, We construct the distributed GIS on grid platform. Considering the flexibility and efficiency, we integrate the mobile agent technology into the system. We propose a new prototype system, the Geographic Information Grid System （GIGS） based on mobile agent. This system has flexible services and high performance, and improves the sharing of distributed resources. The service strategy of the system and the examples are also presented.

Data Exchange in Grid Workflow

In existing web services-based workflow, data exchanging across the web services is centralized, the workflow engine intermediates at each step of the application sequence. However, many grid applications, especially data intensive scientific applications, require exchanging large amount of data across the grid services. Having a central workflow engine relay the data between the services would resu＇lts in a bottleneck in these cases. This paper proposes a data exchange model for individual grid workflow and multiworkflows composition respectively. The model enables direct communication for large amounts of data between two grid services. To enable data to exchange among multiple workflows, the bridge data service is used.

Spatial Data Sharing on Grid

The Internet technology has already changed the Information Society in profound ways, and will continue to do so. Nowadays many people foresee that there is a similar trajectory for the next generation of Internet - Grid Technology. As an emerging computational and networking infrastructure, Grid Computing is designed to provide pervasive, uniform and reliable access to data, computational and human resources distributed in a dynamic, heterogeneous environment. On the other hand, the development of Geographic Information System （GIS） has been highly influenced by the evolution of information technology such as the Internet, telecommunications, software and various types of computing technology. In particular, in the distributed GIS domain, the development However, due to the closed and centralized has made significant impact in the past decade. legacy of the architecture and the lack of interoperability, modularity, and flexibility, current distributed GIS still cannot fully accommodate the distributed, dynamic, heterogeneous and speedy development in network and computing environments. Hence, the development of a high performance distributed GIS system is still a challenging task. So, the development of Grid computing technology undoubtedly provides a unique opportunity for distributed GIS, and a Grid Computing based GIS paradigm becomes inevitable. This paper proposes a new computing platform based distributed GIS framework - the Grid Geographic Information System （G^2IS）.

A Selection Algorithm of Service Providers for Optimized Data Placement in Multi-Cloud Storage Environment

The benefits of cloud storage come along with challenges and open issues about availability of services, vendor lock-in and data security, etc. One solution to mitigate the problems is the multi-cloud storage, where the selection of service providers is a key point. In this paper, an algorithm that can select optimal provider subset for data placement among a set of providers in multicloud storage architecture based on IDA is proposed, designed to achieve good tradeoff among storage cost, algorithm cost, vendor lock-in, transmission performance and data availability. Experiments demonstrate that it is efficient and accurate to find optimal solutions in reasonable amount of time, using parameters taken from real cloud providers.

SOA Information Engineering System Based on Knowledge Grid Applications in Smart Grids

Smart grids have the characteristics of being observable,controllable,adaptive,self-healing,embedded independent processing,and real-time analysis.With the development of smart grids,constructing a grid to cover global,unified information systems,which should be adapted to fulf ill the requirements of the characteristics,is essential.This paper presents an service-oriented architecture(SOA)for smart grid information-engineering systems based on knowledge grid,which could form as a service-oriented architecture through business,technology and management;it would extract potentially valuable information from the massive amount of information on the generation side,the grid side,and the electricity side,then share the useful information to improve availability,security and stability.

基于Web Service的分布式电网营销数据共享方法

分布式电网营销数据具有大规模、多源多端口、多方参与的特点,为了提高电网营销数据协作能力,提出基于Web Service的分布式电网营销数据共享方法。基于多个综合能源联供型微网调度模式下的电网营销数据统计分析模型,采用Web Service构架模式,构建分布式电网营销数据的分散控制模型。通过适用性分析与模型测度分析,实现分布式电网营销数据的调度和信息融合。通过综合指数衡量,实现大规模多端口分布式电网营销数据共享调度。测试结果表明:采用该方法进行分布式电网营销数据共享的融合度较高,平均数据融合度高于0.9,提高了分布式电网营销数据共享水平。该方法能够解决大规模多端口电网营销数据调度问题,实现高效、实时、安全的电网营销数据共享。

科技情报智慧数据:方法、体系与应用

[目的/意义]分析智慧数据建设现状,认识人工智能时代科技情报智慧数据建设的方法与框架。[方法/过程]界定科技情报智慧数据的概念内涵,提出“明确定位与价值、数据架构体系、建设知识语料、数据质量控制、嵌入业务流程的协同建设模式、数据权益约束及安全分级”7个方面的建设原则,设计“技术与功能逻辑、数据分类组织、数据建设流程、数据协同加工工具、运营服务策略”体系框架,拓展智慧数据的示范应用。[结果/结论]通过研发具有“收、存、治、管、用”一体化的科情数据平台,建立了覆盖“情报动态、科研成果、创新活动、创新主体及多类功能型知识实体”等类型的科技情报智慧数据中心,并在“科技人才自动发现、重大科技问题的自动生成以及语义查重查新”等场景中开展应用。
