In the present case,we propose the novel generalized fractional integral operator describing Mittag-Leffler function in their kernel with respect to another function Φ.The proposed technique is to use graceful amalgamations of the Riemann-Liouville(RL)fractional integral operator and several other fractional operators.Meanwhile,several generalizations are considered in order to demonstrate the novel variants involving a family of positive functions n(n∈N)for the proposed fractional operator.In order to confirm and demonstrate the proficiency of the characterized strategy,we analyze existing fractional integral operators in terms of classical fractional order.Meanwhile,some special cases are apprehended and the new outcomes are also illustrated.The obtained consequences illuminate that future research is easy to implement,profoundly efficient,viable,and exceptionally precise in its investigation of the behavior of non-linear differential equations of fractional order that emerge in the associated areas of science and engineering. 展开更多

Background: Our hypothesis was that only established and persistent injuries and complications after positioning in the Trendelenburg position are reported and detected, despite that patients may have great discomfort after surgery. Aim: The aim of this study was to explore patient reported discomfort, pain and functional decrease two hours, 24 hours and four weeks after laparoscopic resection of the colon in the prone lithotomy position, as well as factors potentially associated with reported pain. Methods: A longitudinal self-report questionnaire study was conducted at three time-points. Results: A total of 37 patients responded. Findings show that patients mostly reported pain in relation to the surgical area, but also related to other areas that may be linked to positioning. Conclusion: Even though patients reported mild pain, several of the patients still reported this, four weeks postoperatively, as well as some functional decrease. Our findings support the need to focus on preventing positioning injuries. 展开更多

Very small superparamagnetic iron oxide nanoparticles (VSOPs) rapidly accumulate in atherosclerotic lesions, thereby enabling plaque visualization by magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). This study was performed to identify the uptake mechanisms of VSOPs into atherosclerotic plaques. Low-density lipoprotein receptor-deficient (LDLR^-/-) mice with advanced atherosclerosis were analyzed using MRI and transmission electron microscopy (TEM) at various time points after intravenous administration of VSOPs. Post-mortem MRI detected VSOP labeling of atherosclerotic plaques 10 min after injection, and the signal increased over the first 3 h. TEM revealed that the intensive plaque labeling was mediated by accelerated transcytosis of VSOPs through endothelial cells overlaying atherosclerotic lesions. Experiments with endocytosis inhibitors and small interfering RNA (siRNA) revealed a dynamin-dependent mechanism involving both clathrin- and caveolin-mediated processes. In cell culture experiments, endothelial VSOP uptake was enhanced under proatherogenic flow and TNFα stimulation, conditions that are both present in plaque areas. Our study demonstrates that VSOPs enable non-invasive MRI assessment of accelerated endothelial transcytosis, an important pathomechanism in atherosclerotic plaque formation. 展开更多
