Methods: The current study involved 44 metastatic breast cancer patients treated with docetaxel-based chemotherapy. Among them, 25 cases were treated with dendritic cells derived from CD34+ hematopoietic stem cells enriched autologous peripheral mononuclear cells after chemotherapy, and 19 cases received chemotherapy alone. Peripheral blood samples were collected from each patient before and after treatment, and lymphocyte subpopulations including CD3+, CD3+/CD4+, CD3+/CD8+, CD3-/CD16+56+, CD3+/CD16+56+, CD4+/CD25+, CD8+/CD28-, CD8+/CD28+, CD4/CD8, DC1, DC2 and DC1/DC2 were analysed by a 3-color flow cytometric analysis. Results: The two treatment groups were well matched with regard to demographic and baseline disease characteristics. Comparing the changes of lymphocyte subpopulations between the two groups, it showed that the difference of the change of CD8+/CD28-lymphocyte had statistic significance. The percentage of CD8+/CD28-lymphocyte was lower in the chemotherapy+DC group, but higher in the chemotherapy-alone group. Conclusion: As CD8+/CD28-lymphocyte represent a kind of suppressive T lymphocyte, we conclude that dentritic cell therapy can relieve immunosuppression to some extent.展开更多

The alloy ingots were produced by electromagnetic stirring during solidification. It was found that, the Si phase in eutectic dissolves in a way of diffusion toward α phase, its appearance changes from flake to dot like, and tends to be fine and spheroidal with increasing reheating temperature. The thinner the flake, the lower the temperature for the occurrence of this process, and the higher the transforming speed. The eutectic melts partially when Si phase dissolves to some extent, and the morphology and size of primary α phase begin to change. The dendrite and rosette α phases tends to sphericize. The size of the former becomes larger, while the size of the latter reduces to be 1/2~1/4 of the original size. The spheroidal primary α phase has a tendency of grain growth.展开更多

The result shows that trace lithium added to copper coarsens the grains of Cu-Li alloys in equiaxed crystal area because of the excellent purification effect. With the amount of lithium increasing, the average grain size increases sharply. But when the amount of lithium increases more, the average grain size decreases instead. At the same time, the typical dentritic crystal area of copper is diminished when lithium is added to pure copper.展开更多

A large single mass in liver was showed in CT scan. Enhanced CT showed obvious uneven change of liver neoplasm during the arterial phase and the portal vein phase with tortuous disorganized blood vessels. Immumohistochemical staining of CD21, CD23 and EBER was positive. HFDCS is extremely rare. Except for pathologicaldiagnosis by liver biopsy, its preoperative diagnosis rate is extremely low. Its diagnosis is based on the histopathology and immumohistochemistry. HFDCS was first reported by Shek in 1996, and often occurred in women aged 19 - 82 years (with an average age of 46.7 years). Its main clinical manifestations were abdominal pain, abdominal distention, weight loss, anemia, fever, etc. Some patients were asymptomatic.展开更多

The morphology of the alloy was obtained by using scanning electron microscopy (SEM) under different heat treatment conditions. The magnetic behavior of the non heat-treated alloy is ferromagnetic. A mixed magnetic structure including both paramagnetic and ferromagnetic states was obtained at 800℃ after 6 and 12 h heat treatments. In addition, the magnetic structure of the heat-treated alloy at 1150~C for 12 h was ferromagnetic. With the volume fraction changing, the effective hyperfine field of the ferromagnetic austenite phase and isomery shift values were also determined by Mtssbauer spectroscopy.展开更多
