The company puts forward its development objectives for becoming a first-class national and international desigh firm within 5 to 10 years. In this paper, the theories and techniques related to the business environment and strategy are used to make an analysis of the companys development objectives. According to the analysis of the environment and internal conditions of CPDEC, we suggest adoping the strategic measures for reaching the development objectives on the basis of the SWOT (the acronym of Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities and Threats) analysis method. Some conclusions and recommendations on the companys situation and strategies are given.展开更多

Greenways are necessary due to their major role in increase of air quality and positive change...Design of greenways is one of the most important planning tools in the promotion of quality of life of the city residents. Greenways are necessary due to their major role in increase of air quality and positive changes in the climate of the urban environments for keeping the environmental quality of the cities and considerably increasing aesthetic values of these environments. Protection of natural ecological systems, provision of extensive recreational opportunities for people in urban regions and rural districts, provision of economic benefits and protection of cultural values and historical heritage are the advantages of designing and creating greenways inside cities. The present paper which was conducted with descriptive-analytical method tried to explain design dimensions of ecological greenways in three urban physical, environmental and social-economic systems by studying suitable experimental concepts and samples in the world. In this regard, this paper studied five main goals of designing greenways: promotion of local and urban accesses with greenways, aesthetic aspects of urban landscapes, improvement of performance and distribution of activities by creating greenways, increase of efficiency and environmental aspects in the city and revival of social values considering economic sustainability and in this regard design strategies and policies were presented for each one of them based on these goals.展开更多

Governments formulate some environmen...Industrial development can enrich people＇s lives, but it also causes environmental pollution, which is an area of significant concern among governments, consumers, and companies. Governments formulate some environmental policies, which motivate industry by providing greater incentives for green product development. Consumers are classified into two groups - ordinary and green market segments - according to their environmental awareness and attitudes. In this regard, companies need to reconsider their primary product design strategies. By investigating the interactions among customers＇ preferences, firms＇ product strategies, and government subsidy policies, this paper presents a theoretical model for new product design strategies. After detailed theoretical analysis of such strategies, we found that to motivate firms to choose environmentally friendly product design strategies, governments should inaugurate effective subsidy policies. After simultaneously considering environmental issues and firms＇ benefits, we designed a subsidy policy. With such a policy, firms can change their primary product design strategies and develop both green and ordinary products, thereby increasing the firms＇ profits and improving the total environmental quality.展开更多

The ethnography method has been used to examine the issues related to ＂form＂ flexibility in the design life cycle of IBS constructions by observing the constructions of live experimental models. The major tasks and respective design aspects that facilitate form flexibitities in architectural design have been identified. Furthermore, an integrated life cycle mode[ has been developed to effectively address the interfaces between the design tasks and eventually fulfill the needs of IBS in the design life cycle.展开更多
