CAD System Dedicated to the Design of Sport Bike Frame Structure

This article aims to discuss the design process of the CAD system dedicated for sport bike frame structure, introducing in detail its design concept and the scheme of implementation. Based on the different usages of sport bikes and the requirements on the system made out by Beijing Hanglun Sport Apparatus Company Limited. Structural analysis on two types of bikes frames is carried out. The system defines the basic design parameters and analyses the constraint conditions.Then calculating formulas with constraint conditions are derived. The system solves equations with Visual C++ program, realizes input of the original data and output of the results through interactive system. With AutoCAD14.0 as the platform, the system uses VC++ and ObjectARX to realize auto output of bike frame graphics. The system has been put into use. Practice has affirmed that the system抯 convenience, applicability and reliability all have reached the expected goal. 展开更多

Pile foundation bearing-retaining wall combination structure is a new type of support structure developed in recent years.This article focuses on the characteristics,advantages,and application scope of the support structure,while combining a variety of algorithms,according to different geological conditions and slope stability,as well as summarizes the pile foundation bearing-retaining wall combination structure force analysis and design methods,taking a high-fill road project in Chongqing as an example.The application of this support structure under special conditions,such as thicker soil layer,steeper sliding surface,weak foundation,and limited slope release conditions,is presented,which illustrates the technical advantages of this support structure and proving that it has several other advantages,including clear force mechanism as well as economic and reasonable structure,thus providing reference for similar projects. 展开更多

Purpose–The purpose of this paper is to consider the concept of Fuzzy Radial Basis Function Neural Networks with Information Granulation(IG-FRBFNN)and their optimization realized by means of the Multiobjective Particle Swarm Optimization(MOPSO).Design/methodology/approach–In fuzzy modeling,complexity,interpretability(or simplicity)as well as accuracy of the obtained model are essential design criteria.Since the performance of the IG-RBFNN model is directly affected by some parameters,such as the fuzzification coefficient used in the FCM,the number of rules and the orders of the polynomials in the consequent parts of the rules,the authors carry out both structural as well as parametric optimization of the network.A multi-objective Particle Swarm Optimization using Crowding Distance(MOPSO-CD)as well as O/WLS learning-based optimization are exploited to carry out the structural and parametric optimization of the model,respectively,while the optimization is of multiobjective character as it is aimed at the simultaneous minimization of complexity and maximization of accuracy.Findings–The performance of the proposed model is illustrated with the aid of three examples.The proposed optimization method leads to an accurate and highly interpretable fuzzy model.Originality/value–A MOPSO-CD as well as O/WLS learning-based optimization are exploited,respectively,to carry out the structural and parametric optimization of the model.As a result,the proposed methodology is interesting for designing an accurate and highly interpretable fuzzy model. 展开更多
