Research on the Audio Publishing of Classical Books Based on the Theory of Business Model Canvas: Taking Romance of the Three Kingdoms in Digital Audio Platforms as an Example

Visual media have dominated sensory communications for decades,and the resulting“visual hegemony”leads to the call for the“auditory return”in order to achieve a holistic balance in cultural acceptance.Romance of the Three Kingdoms,a classic literary work in China,has received significant attention and promotion from leading audio platforms.However,the commercialization of digital audio publishing faces unprecedented challenges due to the mismatch between the dissemination of long-form content on digital audio platforms and the current trend of short and fast information reception.Drawing on the Business Model Canvas Theory and taking Romance of the Three Kingdoms as the main focus of analysis,this paper argues that the construction of a business model for the audio publishing of classical books should start from three aspects:the user evaluation of digital audio platforms,the establishment of value propositions based on the“creative transformation and innovative development”principle,and the improvement of the audio publishing infrastructure to ensure the healthy operation and development of the digital audio platforms and consequently improve their current state of development and expand the boundaries of cultural heritage. 展开更多

By quantizing a host audio's wavelet coefficients (Integer Lifting WaveletTransform) and utilizing the characteristics of human auditory system (HAS), the grayimage isembedded using our watermarking method. Experimental results show that the proposed watermarkingscheme is inaudible and robust against various signal processing such as noising adding, lossycompression, low pass filtering, re-sampling, and re-quantifying. 展开更多

First, an original audio signal is decomposed by discrete wavelet transform at three levels. Then, a discrete watermark is embedded into the coefficients of its intermediate frequencies. Finally, the watermarked audio signal is obtained by wavelet reconstruction. The proposed algorithm makes good use of the multiresolution characteristics of wavelet transform. The original audio signal is not needed when detecting the watermark correlatively. Simulation results show that the algorithm is inaudible and robust to noise, filtering and resampling. 展开更多

The noise and distor... A digital input class-D audio amplifier with a sixth-order pulse-width modulation (PWM) modulator is presented. This modulator moves the PWM generator into the closed sigma-delta modulator loop. The noise and distortions generated at the PWM generator module are suppressed by the high gain of the forward loop of the sigma-delta modulator. Therefore, at the output of the modulator, a very clean PWM signal is acquired for driving the power stage of the class-D amplifier. A sixth-order modulator is designed to balance the performance and the system clock speed. Fabricated in standard 0.18 μm CMOS technology, this class-D amplifier achieves 110 dB dynamic range, 100 dB signal-to-noise rate, and 0.0056% total harmonic distortion plus noise. 展开更多

The codec delivers near CD-quality audio at 128kb/s. T... This paper describes a general audio coding algorithm which has been recently standardized by AVS, China. The algorithm is based on a perceptual coding technique. The codec delivers near CD-quality audio at 128kb/s. This paper describes the coder structure in detail and discusses the reasons for specific design methods. A summary of the subjective test results are presented for the prototype codec. Comparison Mean Opinion Score (CMOS) test indicates that the quality of the AVS audio coder is comparable with MPEG Layer-3 audio coder. A reM-time decoder was used for the characterization test, which is based on a 16-bit fixed-point DSP. The performance of the DSP solution was demonstrated, including computational complexity and storage characteristics. 展开更多
