[ Method] With long-term continuous cropping rice as control, according to field location e...[ Objective] The paper was to explore ecological effect of paddy field rotation on reducing disease, pests and weeds of rice. [ Method] With long-term continuous cropping rice as control, according to field location experiments for consecutive 14 years, the effects of paddy field rotation on diseases, pests and weeds of rice were studied in details. [ Result] Paddy field rotation in some extent could reduce diseases, pests and weeds of rice. The diseased plant rate and disease in- dex of rice sheath blight in early rice under paddy field rotation treatment were averagely 10% and 0.4% lower than those in continuous cropping treatment, respec- tively. The diseased plant rate and disease index of rice sheath blight in late rice were 17.7% and 13.3% lower than those in treatments with continuous cropping mode, respectively. The diseased plant rate and disease index of rice false smut in both early rice and late rice under rotation treatments were lower than those in treatments with continuous cropping mode. White leaf rate caused by rice leaf roller and dry heart rate caused by striped rice borer under rotation treatments were significantly lower than those under continuous cropping treatment. The growth status of weeds under rotation treatments was weaker than that under continuous cropping treatment. [ Conclusion] The paper has important significance on alleviating diseases, pests and weeds of rice and improvement of ecological environment of farmland, and provides theoretical basis for sustainable development of agriculture.展开更多

[ Method] Using systematic investigation method, the species and occurrence regularity of diseases, pests and weeds of corn in Pedras Negras farm ( Malanje), Sanza Pombo farm (Uige) and Catete farm (Luanda) in the Mrican continent, the Republic of Angola, were studied in two dry seasons and a rainy season from 2011 to 2012. [ Result] The occurrence status of pests and diseases of corn during dry and rainy seasons were basically similar, and only individual diseases and pests had different incidence degrees. The corn varieties from the United States and Brazil had prominent advan- tages in resistance to diseases and barren. Due to different climate environments in dry and rainy seasons, the unearthed rate of weeds in fields was also different. Soil moisture had great impact on weed population and density. Soil layer depth greatly influenced unearthed speed and unearthed rate of weeds. [Method] Comparison of the incidence of weeds, sheath blight and insects pest under rice-duck mutualism, conventional cultivation and control treatment, the yield and economic benefits were analyzed under the 3 treatments. [Result] Average occurrence of weeds in rice-duck mutualism group decreased by 2.33 and 52.0g ind/m^2 compared with that in conventional cultivation and control treatment ; the control rate of mutualism was up to 75% against rice hopper, but just between 25% -60% against rice leaf roller and Chilo suppressalis. The rates of diseased plant and diseased bell against rice sheath blight were higher and disease indices were lower compared with control group. The yield of mutualism group was identical with conventional cultivation, Which was greatly higher than that of control group. The results suggested an higher economic benefits and lower cost benefit ratio for rice-duck mutualism treatment. [Conclusion] Rice-duck mutualism gives birth to a positive effect to control the diseases, insect pests and weeds, as well as to economic benefits, providing basis on extension of rice-duck mutualism system.展开更多

In complex agricultural environments,cucumber disease identification is confronted with challenges like symptom diversity,environmental interference,and poor detection accuracy.This paper presents the DM-YOLO model,wh...In complex agricultural environments,cucumber disease identification is confronted with challenges like symptom diversity,environmental interference,and poor detection accuracy.This paper presents the DM-YOLO model,which is an enhanced version of the YOLOv8 framework designed to enhance detection accuracy for cucumber diseases.Traditional detection models have a tough time identifying small-scale and overlapping symptoms,especially when critical features are obscured by lighting variations,occlusion,and background noise.The proposed DM-YOLO model combines three innovative modules to enhance detection performance in a collective way.First,the MultiCat module employs a multi-scale feature processing strategy with adaptive pooling,which decomposes input features into large,medium,and small scales.This approach ensures that high-level features are extracted and fused effectively,effectively improving the detection of smaller and complex patterns that are often missed by traditional methods.Second,the ADC2f module incorporates an attention mechanism and deep separable convolution,which allows the model to focus on the most relevant regions of the input features while reducing computational load.The identification and localization of diseases like downy mildew and powdery mildew can be enhanced by this combination in conditions of lighting changes and occlusion.Finally,the C2fe module introduces a Global Context Block that uses attention mechanisms to emphasize essential regions while suppressing those that are not relevant.This design enables the model to capture more contextual information,which improves detection performance in complex backgrounds and small-object scenarios.A custom cucumber disease dataset and the PlantDoc dataset were used for thorough evaluations.Experimental results showed that DM-YOLO achieved a mean Average Precision(mAP50)improvement of 1.2%p on the custom dataset and 3.2%p on the PlantDoc dataset over the baseline YOLOv8.These results highlight the model’s enhanced ability to detect small-scale and overlapping disease symptoms,demonstrating its effectiveness and robustness in diverse agricultural monitoring environments.Compared to the original algorithm,the improved model shows significant progress and demonstrates strong competitiveness when compared to other advanced object detection models.展开更多

The variation cycle of disease severity of Microsphaera lonicerae ( Wint. ) belongs to double peak type, and the disease index will be larger at April and September. The variation cycle of diseased shoot rate belongs to single peak type; diseased shoot rote of Lonicera dasystyla Rehd. and Loniccra hvpolzlauca Miquel is relatively high during April to June, while the index of Lonice- ra confusa (Sweet) DC. is relatively high during February to May. The variation cycle of population number of main natural enemies such as Lemnia biplagiata ( Swartz), Coccinella septcmpunctata ( Linnaeus ) and Harmonia axyridis (Pallas) belongs to double peak type, and they have large occurrence at April and Sep- tember. [-Result] There were 22 kinds of pests and 5 kinds of diseases causing damage on P. graveolens, the occurrence peak of main pest P. litura were in June and September. Field control test showed that 5% hexaflumuron SC and 1% emamectin microcapsule suspension had relatively high control effect on P. litura, the control effect all over 88.58% after spraying for 7 d, and the persistent effect was about 14 d. This research was aimed at the defects in traditional artificial spraying control method and the problems such as the difficulty in pesticides applying,labor shortage and low operating efficiency in the middle and lat...This research was aimed at the defects in traditional artificial spraying control method and the problems such as the difficulty in pesticides applying,labor shortage and low operating efficiency in the middle and late stage of sugarcane high stalk crops.The aerial pesticide application technology for sugarcane main diseases and pests was systematically developed and demonstrated from the aspects of aircraft type choice,selection of special pesticides and auxiliaries,integration of pesticides and equipment,field operation,technical specifications,and large-scale application organization mode.The UAV model and flight technical parameters suitable for the sugarcane planting area in low-latitude plateau were analyzed,and the optimal agent formulation combination and application technology of the UAV flight control were screened out,and the UAV flight control was applied to the major sugarcane pests and diseases control in the low-latitude plateau in large scale(UAV flight control was popularized and applied to 15 527 hm 2 in 2018).The research results provided mature whole-process technical support for the normalization of the application of the UVA flight control of major sugarcane pests and diseases.The UAV control technology for major sugarcane pests and diseases had the advantages of ultra-low pesticides applying dosage and high operating efficiency,and could effectively solve the problems such as the difficulty in pesticides applying,labor shortage and low operating efficiency in the middle late growth stage of high stalk crops.This technology successfully opened up a simple,efficient and new way for the effective control of major sugarcane pests and diseases,and practically accelerated the process of integrated control and prevention of sugarcane pests and diseases.In addition,this technology had an extremely significant effect on reducing the loss of sugarcane farmers and enterprises caused by the epidemic and outbreak of sugarcane pests and diseases,increasing sugarcane yield and sugar content.At the same time,this technology played an important role in realizing the whole-process precise control of sugarcane pests and diseases,improving the quality and increasing the efficiency of sugarcane,and guaranteeing the national sugar safety.展开更多

文摘In rice production,the prevention and management of pests and diseases have always received special attention.Traditional methods require human experts,which is costly and time-consuming.Due to the complexity of the structure of rice diseases and pests,quickly and reliably recognizing and locating them is difficult.Recently,deep learning technology has been employed to detect and identify rice diseases and pests.This paper introduces common publicly available datasets;summarizes the applications on rice diseases and pests from the aspects of image recognition,object detection,image segmentation,attention mechanism,and few-shot learning methods according to the network structure differences;and compares the performances of existing studies.Finally,the current issues and challenges are explored fromthe perspective of data acquisition,data processing,and application,providing possible solutions and suggestions.This study aims to review various DL models and provide improved insight into DL techniques and their cutting-edge progress in the prevention and management of rice diseases and pests.
文摘With the rapid development of modern agriculture,the prevention and control of crop diseases and insect pests has become an important part to ensure the safety of agricultural production,the quality of agricultural products and the safety of agricultural ecological environment.Although the effect of traditional chemical prevention and control technology is remarkable,the health risks and environmental problems brought by it should not be ignored.As a green and environmentally friendly means of prevention and control,biological prevention and control technology has gradually become a hot research topic and a trend of agricultural production.This paper is intended to comprehensively evaluate the social costs of biological control technologies for crop diseases and pests,including the health risks reduced,environmental improvements,economic benefits,and barriers to promotion,and put forward corresponding policy recommendations.

文摘In complex agricultural environments,cucumber disease identification is confronted with challenges like symptom diversity,environmental interference,and poor detection accuracy.This paper presents the DM-YOLO model,which is an enhanced version of the YOLOv8 framework designed to enhance detection accuracy for cucumber diseases.Traditional detection models have a tough time identifying small-scale and overlapping symptoms,especially when critical features are obscured by lighting variations,occlusion,and background noise.The proposed DM-YOLO model combines three innovative modules to enhance detection performance in a collective way.First,the MultiCat module employs a multi-scale feature processing strategy with adaptive pooling,which decomposes input features into large,medium,and small scales.This approach ensures that high-level features are extracted and fused effectively,effectively improving the detection of smaller and complex patterns that are often missed by traditional methods.Second,the ADC2f module incorporates an attention mechanism and deep separable convolution,which allows the model to focus on the most relevant regions of the input features while reducing computational load.The identification and localization of diseases like downy mildew and powdery mildew can be enhanced by this combination in conditions of lighting changes and occlusion.Finally,the C2fe module introduces a Global Context Block that uses attention mechanisms to emphasize essential regions while suppressing those that are not relevant.This design enables the model to capture more contextual information,which improves detection performance in complex backgrounds and small-object scenarios.A custom cucumber disease dataset and the PlantDoc dataset were used for thorough evaluations.Experimental results showed that DM-YOLO achieved a mean Average Precision(mAP50)improvement of 1.2%p on the custom dataset and 3.2%p on the PlantDoc dataset over the baseline YOLOv8.These results highlight the model’s enhanced ability to detect small-scale and overlapping disease symptoms,demonstrating its effectiveness and robustness in diverse agricultural monitoring environments.Compared to the original algorithm,the improved model shows significant progress and demonstrates strong competitiveness when compared to other advanced object detection models.

文摘By studying principles and methods related to early-warning model of plant diseases and using PSO method, parameter optimization was conducted to backward propagation neural network, and a pre-warning model for plant diseases based on particle swarm and neural network algorithm was established. The test results showed that the construction of early-warning model is effective and feasible, which will provide a via- ble model structure to establish the effective early-warning platform.

文摘The occurrence periods of Semiaphis heraclei Takahashi,Frankliniella sp.,Haptonchus luteolus and Microsphara linicerae Enchson wint.in Rabenh.causing damage on Flos lonicerae were investigated in F.lonicerae planting area in XinCheng county of Guangxi Province during 2008-2010,which were coincided with the occurrence periods of related phenology of local Prunus persica Rootstock.With P.persica Rootstock as indicator plant,the occurrence periods of three species of pests and one species of disease were predicted,respectively,and the method was simple and accurate,which could be the foundation for preventing these pests and diseases in the local field.

文摘[ Objective ] The paper was to study the main diseases and pests in Lonicerae japonica in Guangxi Province and fluctuation pattern of their natural ene- mies. [Method] The population change of main diseases and pests, and main predatory naturaI enemies of pests in different species of Lonicerae japonica in Xincheng County of Guangxi Province were systematically investigated during 2008 -2010. [ Result ] The variation cycle of population number of Semiaphis heraclei (Takahashi) belongs to single peak type, and it has large occurrence in April. The variation cycle of population number of Franklinlella sp. and Haptonchus luteo- ius (Erichson) belongs to double peak type, and they have large occurrence at April and September. The variation cycle of disease severity of Microsphaera lonicerae ( Wint. ) belongs to double peak type, and the disease index will be larger at April and September. The variation cycle of diseased shoot rate belongs to single peak type; diseased shoot rote of Lonicera dasystyla Rehd. and Loniccra hvpolzlauca Miquel is relatively high during April to June, while the index of Lonice- ra confusa (Sweet) DC. is relatively high during February to May. The variation cycle of population number of main natural enemies such as Lemnia biplagiata ( Swartz), Coccinella septcmpunctata ( Linnaeus ) and Harmonia axyridis (Pallas) belongs to double peak type, and they have large occurrence at April and Sep- tember. [ Conclusion] The results could provide scientific basis for determination of optimum control period against major diseases and pests in Loniceraejaponica and development of integrated control programs.

文摘[ Objective] The study aimed to confirm species and damage status of the diseases and pests in Pelargonium graveolens L. Her, and explore the control technique of the main pests. [Method] Investigation of pests and diseases was conducted in main growing base of P. graveolens in Guangxi Province during 2007 -2008, and randomized block design was adopted to conduct field efficacy trials. [-Result] There were 22 kinds of pests and 5 kinds of diseases causing damage on P. graveolens, the occurrence peak of main pest P. litura were in June and September. Field control test showed that 5% hexaflumuron SC and 1% emamectin microcapsule suspension had relatively high control effect on P. litura, the control effect all over 88.58% after spraying for 7 d, and the persistent effect was about 14 d. [ Conclusion] The study would provide useful support for disease and oest control in standardized cultivation of P. oraveolens.

In order to scien- tifically and effectively prevent and control pests and diseases of sugarcane to en- sure the safety of sugarcane production, on the basis of an investigation and re- search, according to the present situation of sugarcane production in Yunnan, the occurrence dynamics of major pests and diseases of sugarcane were analyzed, and corresponding control strategies were proposed according to the major pests and diseases as well as their occurrence and damage characteristics.

文摘Based on investigation and research, according to the current actual production of sugarcane, the occurrence dynamics and outbreak causes of important pests and diseases that seriously affect sugarcane production were summarized, and accurate and efficient green prevention and control technology was put forward according to the occurrence and damage characteristics of important pests and diseases, such as strengthening sugarcane introduction and quarantine, breeding and selecting varieties resistant to diseases and pests, promoting the use of detoxified healthy seedlings vigorously, applying lamp trapping technology on a large scale, scientifically guiding and promoting biological prevention and control technology, practically promoting the precise and efficient application of slow-release long- acting and low toxic pesticides, strengthening field management, spraying pesticides in time at the early stage of a disease, and doing a good job of monitoring and emergency prevention and control of sudden pests.

文摘This research was aimed at the defects in traditional artificial spraying control method and the problems such as the difficulty in pesticides applying,labor shortage and low operating efficiency in the middle and late stage of sugarcane high stalk crops.The aerial pesticide application technology for sugarcane main diseases and pests was systematically developed and demonstrated from the aspects of aircraft type choice,selection of special pesticides and auxiliaries,integration of pesticides and equipment,field operation,technical specifications,and large-scale application organization mode.The UAV model and flight technical parameters suitable for the sugarcane planting area in low-latitude plateau were analyzed,and the optimal agent formulation combination and application technology of the UAV flight control were screened out,and the UAV flight control was applied to the major sugarcane pests and diseases control in the low-latitude plateau in large scale(UAV flight control was popularized and applied to 15 527 hm 2 in 2018).The research results provided mature whole-process technical support for the normalization of the application of the UVA flight control of major sugarcane pests and diseases.The UAV control technology for major sugarcane pests and diseases had the advantages of ultra-low pesticides applying dosage and high operating efficiency,and could effectively solve the problems such as the difficulty in pesticides applying,labor shortage and low operating efficiency in the middle late growth stage of high stalk crops.This technology successfully opened up a simple,efficient and new way for the effective control of major sugarcane pests and diseases,and practically accelerated the process of integrated control and prevention of sugarcane pests and diseases.In addition,this technology had an extremely significant effect on reducing the loss of sugarcane farmers and enterprises caused by the epidemic and outbreak of sugarcane pests and diseases,increasing sugarcane yield and sugar content.At the same time,this technology played an important role in realizing the whole-process precise control of sugarcane pests and diseases,improving the quality and increasing the efficiency of sugarcane,and guaranteeing the national sugar safety.
文摘The tobacco pests and diseases in major flue-cured tobacco production areas of Shibing County were investigated, and the corresponding control counter- measures were put forward. The results showed that the common pests and diseases, such as tobacco aphid, tobacco budworm, TMV, CMV, PVY, bacterial wilt and black shank, had occurred in flue-cured tobacco production in Shibing County.
