In the Chinese medicine market, S. baicalensis has been divided into two primary types, "Ku Qin"(WXR) and "Tiao Qin"(TST). Moreover, TST is also divided into different grades according to the diameter of roots. To explore the distribution patterns of the contents of five biologically activate ingredients(FBAI), we used six-year-old cultivated S. baicalensis and analyzed its growth characteristics as well as the quality difference among different types and diameters in roots. Throughout the entire root, we discovered that contents of the FBAI all initially increased and subsequently decreased from the top to the bottom of the roots. The baicalin content of WXR was less than that of TST. On the contrary, the contents of baicalein, wogonin, and oroxylin A in WXR were up to about two times higher than that in TST. We also found that the 0 to 40 cm part of the S. baicalensis root possessed about 87% of the root biomass and about 92% of the contents of the active ingredients.展开更多

文摘Carabid beetles, predatory insects, are abundant in forests and sensitive to environmental changes. The distribution patterns and diversity of carabid beetles in several natural forests were studied to provide a basis for evaluating the importance of a forest in the protection of carabid beetle diversity.Carabids were captured by pitfall traps during their seasonal activity from 2012 to 2013 in a poplar-birch forest,ash-walnut forest and broad-leaved Korean pine forest.A total of 5252 individuals, representing 21 species, were collected.Carabid abundance was highest in the broad-leaved Korean pine forest and lowest in the ash-walnut forest.Carabus billbergi Mannerheim and Pterostichus pertinax(Tschitscherine)were the dominant beetle species in each stand.Carabus canaliculatus Adams was dominant in the poplar-birch and ash-walnut forests, and Leistus niger Gebler was dominant in the ash-walnut forest. The carabids were affected differently by stand factors.C.billbergi and P.pertinax was positively correlated with mean DBH.C.canaliculatus and L.niger were not positively correlated with any stand factors. The broad-leaved Korean pine forest with greater age, large DBH and thick leaf litter fostered a high diversity of carabid species. The main yearly activity period for most carabids was during July.Different carabid species responded differently to seasonality, and the activity period of several species was relatively late(August)in the year.

文摘The housing price has been paid close attention by people in all walks of life, and the development of big data provides a new data environment for the study of urban housing price.Housing price data of four national central cities (Beijing,Shanghai,Guangzhou and Wuhan) are taken as research samples. With the help of software GIS,exploratory spatial data analysis method is used to depict the spatial distribution pattern of urban housing price, and commonness and difference of spatial distribution of housing price are explored. The conclusions are as below:①regional imbalance of housing price in national central cities is significant.②Spatial distribution of urban housing price in Beijing,Shanghai,Guangzhou and Wuhan presents a polycentric pattern, and there is obvious spatial agglomeration.③The internal change of housing price in different cities has significant spatial difference.Beijing,Shanghai,Guangzhou and Wuhan are taken as typical city samples for research, with reference and practical significance, which could help to effectively predict spatial development trend of housing prices in other first and second tier cities. The research aims to provide certain reference for the government implementing real estate control policies according to local conditions, project location and reasonable pricing of real estate developers.
文摘The impact of different public service facilities is obtained by investigating the infl uence of public service facilities on distribution pattern of housing price in 25 cities.According to the survey results, public education service facilities have the highest weight and the greatest impact, which also refl ects the root of“school district housing fever”from the side.Public sports service facilities have the lowest score when compared with other options. This is not because public sports service facilities are not important, but is determined by actual situation of social development and actual living standard of residents in China. From the improvement and enhancement of urban public service facilities, the construction of public service facilities should be convenient for people’s education, health, culture and entertainment.

文摘As an important herbaceous plant, Scutellaria baicalensis Georgi(Chinese skullcap) is geographically widespread and commonly used throughout the world. We also found that the 0 to 40 cm part of the S. baicalensis root possessed about 87% of the root biomass and about 92% of the contents of the active ingredients.

文摘In this study,we determined six“hotspots”for avian biodiversity conservation in China. We analyzed the distribution patterns of 183 threatened bird species in China in conjunction with geographical data to produce a distribution map that shows the concentrations of threatened species. The six biodiversity hotspots are:the western Tianshan Mountains;the Qilian and Hengduan mountains;southern Anhui, southern Jiangsu, and the Zhejiang Hills;the Songliao Plain and the northern region of the North China Plain;the island of Taiwan;and the island of Hainan.Based on our analysis of a species–habitat matrix, species were determined to be distributed mainly in broadleaved forest, grassland and meadows, urban and agricultural areas, wetlands, and bush. Most species were commonly found to have a range of three to five different habitat types.Apart from the six biodiversity hotspots, six ecological clusters were determined.Protection strategies indicating different levels of habitat priority among the biodiversity hotspots were also recommended.

文摘Aims As a unique geographical unit of the earth, the tibetan Plateau is extensively covered by various Stipa communities. However, their vegetation features have not been reported systematically till now, especially in some scantily explored regions. In this study,we endeavor to reveal the community types, quantitative charac-teristics and climatic distribution patterns of Stipa steppes in these areas based on primary relevés obtained from fieldwork. Methods We collected a total of 223 plots in 79 study sites in the Changthang Plateau and the Yarlung Zangbo Valley, ranging from 79°E to 91°E.the categories of Stipa formations were identified according to the classification scheme in Vegetation of China and then verified by Nonmetric Multidimensional Scaling. We performed detrended correspondence analysis and detrended canonical correspondence analysis to hunt for the alteration of Stipa communities along the precipitation gradient.Quantitative characteristics including species richness, coverage, biomass as well as importance values(IV)of dominant species were calcu-lated and visualized, respectively.Important Findings Stipa steppes in scantily explored regions of the tibetan Plateau are classified into 11 formations but major formations are rather limited in number.Formation(form.)Stipa purpurea is the most widespread Stipa assemblages not only in scantily explored regions but also across the whole tibetan Plateau.the characteristics of Stipa com-munities,including coverage, species richness, productivity and IV of dominant species, demonstrate the features of typical alpine steppes on the tibetan Plateau.Precipitation proves to be the prime climatic factor controlling the distribution patterns of Stipa assemblages.Form.Stipa subsessiliflora var.basiplumosa and form.Stipa glareosa normally distribute in arid habitats, but rainfall for the former is of greater variance.Form.Stipa roborowskyi and form.Stipa capillacea favor moderately moist environment.Form.Stipa purpurea and form.Stipa roborowskyi can tolerate a fairly broad range of precipitation.

文摘Urban Functional Zone(UFZ)identification is vital for urban planning, renewal, and development.Point of Interest(POI),as one of the most popular data in UFZ studies,is transformed into a geo-corpus under specific sampling strategies, which can be used with Natural Language Processing(NLP)technology to extract geo-semantic features and identify UFZs.However, existing studies only capture a single spatial distribution pattern of POIs,while ignoring the other spatial distribution information. In this paper,we developed an integrated geo-corpus construction approach to capture multi-spatial distribution patterns of POIs that were represented by different modal POI embeddings.Subsequently, random forest model was leveraged to classify UFZs based on those embeddings.A set of combination experiments were designed for performance validation. The results show that our proposed method can effectively identify UFZs with an accuracy of 72.9%,with an improvement of 8.5%compared to the baseline methods. The outcome of this study will help urban planners to better understand UFZs through investigating the integrated spatial distribution patterns of POIs embedded in UFZs.

文摘In map multiscale visualization, typification is the process of replacing original objects, such as buildings, using a smaller number of objects while maintaining initial geometrical and distribution characteristics.During the past few decades, many vector-based methods for building typification have been developed, whereas raster-based methods have received less attention. In this paper,a new method for the typification of buildings with different distribution patterns called superpixel building typification(SUBT)is developed based on raster data.Using this method, buildings with different distribution patterns, such as linear, grid and irregular patterns, are first grouped by image connected component detection and superpixel analysis. Then, the new positions for building typification are determined by superpixel resegmentation. Finally,a new representation of the buildings is determined through analysis of the orientation and shape of the buildings in each superpixel. To test the proposed SUBT method, buildings from both cities and countrysides in China are applied to perform typification. The experimental results show that the proposed SUBT method can realize typification for buildings with linear, grid and irregular distributions while effectively maintaining the original distribution characteristics of the buildings.
文摘The world animal geographical regionalization scheme and the plant geographical regionalization scheme have been formulated by zoologists and botanists respectively since the biogeography has been established. This research team initially confirmed the homogeneity of Chinese animal and plant geography. To explore the relationship between the distribution pattern of global animals, plants, and microorganisms, global 141,814 genera of terrestrial animals,17,526 genera of plants,21,321 genera of microorganisms, and their major taxa were analyzed using their proposed SGF(Similarity General Formula)and a new multivariate similarity clustering analysis method.Almost identical analytical results were obtained, meeting the requirements of statistics, geography, ecology and biology respectively. The expected consistency of their distribution pattern was achieved for the first time.We prove that the earth’s ecological conditions affect the homogeneity and accumulation of the distribution of animals, plants and microorganisms.Homogeneity determines the distribution pattern of global kinds of biological consistency, accumulation determines the impact of the evolutionary period on the breadth of distribution, microorganisms appear earliest, plants second, animals later, and their average distribution domain decreases in turn, reflecting these differences. Therefore, this study not only provides a theoretical basis and quantitative basis for the establishment of geographical regionalization scheme but also advances the development of biogeography to a new stage and raises the theory of biogeographic analysis to a new height.

文摘Using GPS technology and community research methods for plant communities,we investigated the distribution patterns of aquatic plant communities in the high plateaus of the Napahai Wetlands,Yunnan,China,as well as the species changes of plant communities compared with that of 24 years ago since 2005.We found that the types and numbers of aquatic plant communities have changed. Some pollution-tolerant,nutrient-loving plant communities such as Scirpus tabernaemontani,Zizania caduciflora,Myriophyllum spicatum, and Azolla imbricata flourished, while the primary aquatic plant communities were reduced or even disappeared. The number of aquatic plant communities were increased from nine to 12 with the addition of two new emergent plant communities and one new floating-leaved plant community. The increase in emergent plant communities was significant. From east to west and from south to north, various types of plant communities were continuously distributed, including floating-leaved plant communities, emergent plant communities and submerged plant communities. The composition of the communities became more complicated and the number of accompanying species increased, while the percentage ratio of dominant plant species declined. In 2005,the coverage of emergent plant communities was the largest(528.42 hm^(2))followed by submerged plant communities(362.50 hm^(2))and the floating-leaf plant communities was the smallest(70.23 hm^(2)).The variations in the distribution of aquatic plant communities in the Napahai Wetlands reflect the natural responses to the change of the wetland ecological environment. This study indicates that human disturbances have led to an inward movement of the wetland shoreline,a decrease in water quality and a reduction in wetland habitat.

文摘Direction-dependence,or anisotropy,of spatial distribution patterns of vegetation is rarely explored due to neglect of this ecological phenomenon and the paucity of methods dealing with this issue. This paper proposes a new approach to anisotropy analysis of spatial distribution patterns of plant populations on the basis of the data resam-pling technique(DRT)combined with Ripley’s L index.Using the ArcView Geographic Information System(GIS)platform,a case study was carried out by selecting the popula-tion of Pinus massoniana from a needle-and broad-leaved mixed forest community in the Heishiding Nature Reserve,Guangdong Province. Results showed that the spatial pattern of the P.massoniana population was typically anisotropic with different patterns in different directions. The DRT was found to be an effective approach to the anisotropy analysis of spatial patterns of plant populations.By employing resam-pling sub-datasets from the original dataset in different direc-tions,we could overcome the difficulty in the direct use of current non-angular methods of pattern analysis.
