Economics Analysis for Information Flow of the Leader Dynamic Management in Virtual Enterprise

The virtual enterprise will play a more and more im po rtant role in economy development. The virtual enterprise leader raises market a daptability and group cooperation ability through its dynamic management. Thus t he validity and efficiency of leader’s dynamic management determines the efficie ncy of the virtual enterprise operation, and the validity of the information flo w is one of the main factors. In this paper, the validity of the information flo w in the course of the leader’s dynamic management in the virtual enterprise is analyzed by using the economic searching theory and the information theory, and the possible ways to improve the validity and efficiency of leader’s dynamic man agement are indicated. Firstly, the basic concepts such as leader’s dynamic management, virtual enterpr ise, and its leader are defined. The dynamic management procedure for the virtua l enterprise leader is analyzed with the dynamic theory raised by Mowshowitz. Secondly, the model for the dynamic management of the virtual enterprise leader is constructed using multi-goal selection. The information flow validity for th e leader during the stages of the identification and the establishment is analyz ed with the economic searching theory and the information theory. Meanwhile, the value of the dynamic management policy is discussed with the information va lue theory. Finally, two ways to improve the validity of the information flow are obtained. The first way is to process the various kinds of information of the existing mem bers in the virtual enterprise for the future cooperative usage and to extend th e selective objects for the leader, and to make the detailed and clear mechanism of the object evaluation and selection (the market chance and the cooperative partner). The other way is to build the system of the effective transfer and process of the feedback information flow during the operation of the virtual ent erprise based on the information technology. 展开更多

To solve the problem of delayed update of spectrum information(SI) in the database assisted dynamic spectrum management(DB-DSM), this paper studies a novel dynamic update scheme of SI in DB-DSM. Firstly, a dynamic update mechanism of SI based on spectrum opportunity incentive is established, in which spectrum users are encouraged to actively assist the database to update SI in real time. Secondly, the information update contribution(IUC) of spectrum opportunity is defined to describe the cost of accessing spectrum opportunity for heterogeneous spectrum users, and the profit of SI update obtained by the database from spectrum allocation. The process that the database determines the IUC of spectrum opportunity and spectrum user selects spectrum opportunity is mapped to a Hotelling model. Thirdly, the process of determining the IUC of spectrum opportunities is further modelled as a Stackelberg game by establishing multiple virtual spectrum resource providers(VSRPs) in the database. It is proved that there is a Nash Equilibrium in the game of determining the IUC of spectrum opportunities by VSRPs. Finally, an algorithm of determining the IUC based on a genetic algorithm is designed to achieve the optimal IUC. The-oretical analysis and simulation results show that the proposed method can quickly find the optimal solution of the IUC, and ensure that the spectrum resource provider can obtain the optimal profit of SI update. 展开更多

To improve mesh quality for KIVA-3V a method has been developed for rapid mesh generation and dynamic mesh management with moving valves for internal combustion engines. Two phases are included in rapid mesh generation: the initial mesh generation and the mesh pre-treatment. In the second step (pre-treatment), the connectivity of those cells is generated by a new algorithm added to the KIVA-3V code after the initial mesh generated. In dynamic mesh management phase, a new rezoning algorithm is developed and the basic principle is that the rezoning starts from the moving part. The movement of the adjustment is treated as an "earth quake wave" propagating to the surrounding vertexes. The amount of coordinate adjustment of the surrounding vertexes is determined by the movement of the epicenter and the distance between the vertexes and the "epicenter". Finally, a real IC engine mesh is generated and managed aceording to the new method. It gives a new theory and a new method for creating and managing the mesh in IC engine. 展开更多

With the rapid development of wireless sensor network (WSN), the demands of limited radio frequency spectrum rise sharply, thereby dealing with the frequency assignment of WSN scientifically and efficiently becomes a popular topic. To improve the frequency utilization rate in WSN, a spectrum management system for WSN combined with cloud computing technology should be considered. From the optimization point of view, the study of dynamic spectrum management can be divided into three kinds of methods, including Nash equilibrium, social utility maximization, and competitive economy equilibrium. In this paper, we propose a genetic algorithm based approach to allocate the power spectrum dynamically. The objective is to maximize the sum of individual Shannon utilities with the background interference and crosstalk consideration. Compared to the approach in [1], the experimental result shows better balance between efficiency and effectiveness of our approach. 展开更多

In mobile cloud computing,trust is a very important parameter in mobile cloud computing security because data storage and data processing are performed remotely in the cloud.Aiming at the security and trust management of mobile agent system in mobile cloud computing environment,the Human Trust Mechanism(HTM)is used to study the subjective trust formation,trust propagation and trust evolution law,and the subjective trust dynamic management algorithm(MASTM)is proposed.Based on the interaction experience between the mobile agent and the execution host and the third-party recommendation information to collect the basic trust data,the public trust host selection algorithm is given.The isolated malicious host algorithm and the integrated trust degree calculation algorithm realize the function of selecting the trusted cluster and isolating the malicious host,so as to enhance the security interaction between the mobile agent and the host.Given algorithm simulation and verification were carried out to prove its feasibility and effectiveness. 展开更多

Cognitive Radio(CR) system based on Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiple Access(OFDMA),such as Wireless Regional Area Networks(WRAN) and Worldwide Interoperability for Microwave Access(WiMAX),often attempt to improve performance via dynamic radio resource management,which is characterized as concurrent processing of different traffic and nondeterministic system capacity.It is essential to design and evaluate such complex system using proper modeling and analysis tools.In the previous work,most of the communication systems were modeled as Markov Chain(MC) and Stochastic Petri Nets(SPN),which have the explicit limitation in evaluating adaptive OFDMA CR system with wide area traffic.In this paper,we develop an executable top-down hier-archical Colored Petri Net(CPN) model for adaptive OFDMA CR system,and analyze its performance using CPN tools.The results demonstrate that the CPN can model different radio resource manage-ment algorithms in CR Systems,and the CPN tools require less computational effort than Markov model using Matlab,with its flexibility and adaptability to the traffics which arrival interval and processing time are not exponentially distributed. 展开更多

Fault tolerance(FT)schemes are intended to work on a minimized and static amount of physical resources.When a host failure occurs,the conventional FT frequently proceeds with the execution on the accessible working hosts.This methodology saves the execution state and applications to complete without disruption.However,the dynamicity of open cloud assets is not seen when taking scheduling choices.Existing optimization techniques are intended in dealing with resource scheduling.This method will be utilized for distributing the approaching tasks to the VMs.However,the dynamic scheduling for this procedure doesn’t accomplish the objective of adaptation of internal failure.The scheme prefers jobs in the activity list with the most elevated execution time on resources that can execute in a shorter timeframe,but it suffers with higher makespan;poor resource usage and unbalance load concerns.To overcome the above mentioned issue,Fault Aware Dynamic Resource Manager(FADRM)is proposed that enhances the mechanism to Multi-stage Resilience Manager at an application-level FT arrangement.Proposed FADRM method gives FT a Multi-stage Resilience Manager(MRM)in the client and application layers,and simultaneously decreases the over-head and degradations.It additionally provides safety to the application execution considering the clients,application and framework necessities.Based on experimental evaluations,Proposed Fault Aware Dynamic Resource Manager(FADRM)method 157.5 MakeSpan(MS)time,0.38 Fault Rate(FR),0.25 Failure Delay(FD)and improves 5.5 Performance Improvement Ratio(PIR)for 25,50,75 and 100 tasks and 475 MakeSpan(MS)time,0.40 Fault Rate(FR),1.30 Failure Delay(FD)and improves 6.75 improves Performance Improvement Ratio(PER)for 100,200,300 and 500 Tasks compare than existing methodologies. 展开更多

Energy-Efficient Scheduling Based on Task Migration Policy Using DPM for Homogeneous MPSoCs

Increasing the life span and efficiency of Multiprocessor System on Chip(MPSoC)by reducing power and energy utilization has become a critical chip design challenge for multiprocessor systems.With the advancement of technology,the performance management of central processing unit(CPU)is changing.Power densities and thermal effects are quickly increasing in multi-core embedded technologies due to shrinking of chip size.When energy consumption reaches a threshold that creates a delay in complementary metal oxide semiconductor(CMOS)circuits and reduces the speed by 10%–15%because excessive on-chip temperature shortens the chip’s life cycle.In this paper,we address the scheduling&energy utilization problem by introducing and evaluating an optimal energy-aware earliest deadline first scheduling(EA-EDF)based technique formultiprocessor environments with task migration that enhances the performance and efficiency in multiprocessor systemon-chip while lowering energy and power consumption.The selection of core andmigration of tasks prevents the system from reaching itsmaximumenergy utilization while effectively using the dynamic power management(DPM)policy.Increase in the execution of tasks the temperature and utilization factor(u_(i))on-chip increases that dissipate more power.The proposed approach migrates such tasks to the core that produces less heat and consumes less power by distributing the load on other cores to lower the temperature and optimizes the duration of idle and sleep times across multiple CPUs.The performance of the EA-EDF algorithm was evaluated by an extensive set of experiments,where excellent results were reported when compared to other current techniques,the efficacy of the proposed methodology reduces the power and energy consumption by 4.3%–4.7%on a utilization of 6%,36%&46%at 520&624 MHz operating frequency when particularly in comparison to other energy-aware methods for MPSoCs.Tasks are running and accurately scheduled to make an energy-efficient processor by controlling and managing the thermal effects on-chip and optimizing the energy consumption of MPSoCs. 展开更多

Minimizing the energy consumption to increase the life span and performance of multiprocessor system on chip(MPSoC)has become an integral chip design issue for multiprocessor systems.The performance measurement of computational systems is changing with the advancement in technology.Due to shrinking and smaller chip size power densities onchip are increasing rapidly that increasing chip temperature in multi-core embedded technologies.The operating speed of the device decreases when power consumption reaches a threshold that causes a delay in complementary metal oxide semiconductor(CMOS)circuits because high on-chip temperature adversely affects the life span of the chip.In this paper an energy-aware dynamic power management technique based on energy aware earliest deadline first(EA-EDF)scheduling is proposed for improving the performance and reliability by reducing energy and power consumption in the system on chip(SOC).Dynamic power management(DPM)enables MPSOC to reduce power and energy consumption by adopting a suitable core configuration for task migration.Task migration avoids peak temperature values in the multicore system.High utilization factor(ui)on central processing unit(CPU)core consumes more energy and increases the temperature on-chip.Our technique switches the core bymigrating such task to a core that has less temperature and is in a low power state.The proposed EA-EDF scheduling technique migrates load on different cores to attain stability in temperature among multiple cores of the CPU and optimized the duration of the idle and sleep periods to enable the low-temperature core.The effectiveness of the EA-EDF approach reduces the utilization and energy consumption compared to other existing methods and works.The simulation results show the improvement in performance by optimizing 4.8%on u_(i) 9%,16%,23%and 25%at 520 MHz operating frequency as compared to other energy-aware techniques for MPSoCs when the least number of tasks is in running state and can schedule more tasks to make an energy-efficient processor by controlling and managing the energy consumption of MPSoC. 展开更多

The purpose of introducing blockchain into electronic archives sharing and utilization is to break the information barrier between electronic archives sharing departments by relying on technologies such as smart contract and asymmetric encryption.Aiming at the problem of dynamic permission management in common access control methods,a new access control method based on smart contract under blockchain is proposed,which improves the intelligence level under blockchain technology.Firstly,the Internet attribute access control model based on smart contract is established.For the dynamic access of heterogeneous devices,the management contract,permission judgment contract and access control contract are designed;Secondly,the access object credit evaluation algorithm based on particle swarm optimization radial basis function(PSO-RBF)neural network is used to dynamically generate the access node credit threshold combined with the access policy,so as to realize the intelligent access right management method.Finally,combined with the abovemodels and algorithms,the workflow of electronic archives sharing and utilization model of multi blockchain is constructed.The experimental results show that the timeconsuming of the process increases linearly with the number of continuous access to electronic archives blocks,and the secure access control of sharing and utilization is feasible,secure and effective. 展开更多

Large-scale construction companies develop rapidly when facing more and more opportunities and challenges of programme contracting. However, project management technology, not meeting the requirements of firm growth, still stands proud, while relevant programme management methods have not been well studied. Therefore, this paper commences innovative application of coordinated management theory to programme management according to the need of changing the existing management mode in large-scale construction companies,then puts forward the dynamic coordinated management model composed of the dynamic coordination of function module, interface module, support module and evaluation module. Besides, coordination degree was introduced to make auxiliary analysis, so that companies can utilize internal and external resources more effectively to realize the goals of programme management as well as enterprise strategy. 展开更多

Real-time variable bit rate(VBR) video is expected to take a significant portion of multimedia applications.However,plentiful challenges to VBR video service provision have been raised for its characteristic of high traffic abruptness.To support multi-user real-time VBR video transmission with high bandwidth utilization and satisfied quality of service(QoS),this article proposes a practical dynamic bandwidth management scheme.This scheme forecasts future media rate of VBR video by employing time-domain adaptive linear predictor and using media delivery index(MDI) as both QoS measurement and complementary management reference.In addition,to support multi-user application,an adjustment priorities classified strategy is also put forward.Finally,a test-bed based on this management scheme is established.The experimental results demonstrate that the scheme proposed in this article is efficient with bandwidth utilization increased by 20%-60% compared to a fixed service rate and QoS guaranteed. 展开更多

IDRMS: an improved dynamic replication management scheme for cloud storage

However,most data replication schemes... Cloud storage is getting more and more popular as a new trend of data management. Data replication has been widely used to increase the data availability in cloud storage systems. However,most data replication schemes do not fully consider cost and latency issues when users need large amounts of remote replicas. We present an improved dynamic replication management scheme( IDRMS). By adding a prediction model,the optimal allocation of replicas among the cloud storage nodes is determined that the total communication cost and network delay are minimal. When the local data block is frequently requested,the data replicas can be moved to a closer or cheaper node for cost reduction and increased efficiency. Moreover,we replace the B+tree with the B*tree to speed up the search and reduce workload with the lowest blocking probability. We define the value of popularity to adjust the placement of replicas dynamically. We divide the data nodes in the network into hot nodes and cool nodes. By changing to visit cool nodes instead of hot nodes,we can balance the workload in the network. Finally,we implement IDRMS in Matlab simulation platform and simulation results demonstrate that IDRMS outperforms other replication management schemes in terms of communication cost and load balancing for large-scale cloud storage. 展开更多

With the increasing scale of information technology(IT)service system,traditional thresholdbased static service level management(SLM)solution appears to be inadequate to meet current increasingly management requirement of SLM.Due to the stochastic service request rate,the random inherent failure and load surge of IT devices during service operating stage of large scaled IT system,service level objective(SLO)maintenance issue has become a realistic and important issue in dynamic SLM.This paper proposes a closed-loop feedback control mechanism to adaptively maintain SLO that service provider(SP)guaranteed at service operation stage.The mechanism can automatically tune the capacity of IT infrastructure according to service performance dispersion and reduce SLO violations.Considering that the tuning operations also affect service performance,fuzzy control is applied to alleviate the negative effect caused by tuning operations.In the dynamic SLM system that is applied with this mechanism compared with the traditional threshold-based solution,it is proved that the amount of SLO violations obviously decreases,the reliability of the service system increases relatively,and the resource utilization of IT infrastructure is optimized. 展开更多
