AIM:To evaluate the efficacy and safety of telbivudine(LDT) in hepatitis B e antigen(HBeAg)-positive chronic hepatitis B(CHB) patients who have high baseline alanine aminotransferase(ALT) levels between 10 and 20 time...AIM:To evaluate the efficacy and safety of telbivudine(LDT) in hepatitis B e antigen(HBeAg)-positive chronic hepatitis B(CHB) patients who have high baseline alanine aminotransferase(ALT) levels between 10 and 20 times the upper limit of normal.METHODS:Forty HBeAg-positive CHB patients with high baseline ALT levels between 10 and 20 times the upper limit of normal were enrolled and received LDT monotherapy for 52 wk.Another forty patients with baseline ALT levels between 2 and 10 times the upper limit of normal were included as controls.We compared the virological,biochemical,serological and side effect profiles between the two groups at 52 wk.RESULTS:By week 52,the mean decrease in hepatitis B virus(HBV) DNA level compared with baseline was 7.03 log10 copies/mL in the high baseline ALT group and 6.17 log10 copies/mL in the control group,respectively(P < 0.05).The proportion of patients in whom serum HBV DNA levels were undetectable by polymerase chain reaction assay was 72.5% in the high baseline ALT group and 60% in the control group,respectively(P < 0.05).In addition,45.0% of patients in the high baseline ALT group and 27.5% of controls became HBeAg-negative,and 37.5% of those in the high baseline group and 22.5% of controls,respectively,had HBeAg seroconversion(P < 0.05) at week 52.Moreover,in the high baseline group,4 out of 40 patients(10%) became hepatitis B surface antigen(HBsAg)-negative and 3(7.5%) of them seroconverted(became HBsAg-positive).Only 1 patient in the control group became HBsAg-negative,but had no seroconversion.The ALT normalization rate,viral breakthrough,genotypic resistance to LDT,and elevations in creatine kinase levels were similar in the two groups over the 52 wk.CONCLUSION:High baseline ALT level is a strong predictor for optimal results during LDT treatment.展开更多
Stable isotopic compositions (δ18O and 6D) have been utilized as a useful indicator for evaluating the current and historical climatic and environmental changes. Therefore, it is vital to understand the relationshi...Stable isotopic compositions (δ18O and 6D) have been utilized as a useful indicator for evaluating the current and historical climatic and environmental changes. Therefore, it is vital to understand the relationship be- tween the stable isotopic contents in lake water and the variations of lake level, particularly in Lake Qinghai, China. In this study, we analyzed the variations of isotope compositions (δ18O, 6D and d-excess) in lake water and pre- cipitation by using the samples that were collected from Lake Qinghai region during the period from 2009 to 2012. The results showed that the average isotopic contents of δ18O and 6D in lake water were higher than those in pre- cipitation, which were contrary to the variations of d-excess. The linear regression correlations between δ18O and 6D in lake water and precipitation showed that the local evaporative line (LEL) in lake water (δD=5.88δ18O-2.41) deviated significantly from the local meteoric water line (LMWL)in precipitation (δD=8.26δ18O+16.91), indicating that evaporative enrichment had a significant impact on isotopic contents in lake water. Moreover, we also quanti- fied the Eli ratio (evaporation-to-input ratio) in Lake Qinghai based on the lake water isotopic enrichment model derived from the Rayleigh equation. The changes of E/I ratios (ranging from 0.29 to 0.36 between 2009 and 2012) clearly revealed the shifts of lake levels in Lake Qinghai in recent years. The average E/I ratio of 0.40 reflected that water budget in Lake Qinghai was positive, and consistent with the rising lake levels and the increasing lake areas in many lakes of the Tibetan Plateau. These findings provide some evidences for studying the hydrological balance or water budget by using δ18O values of lake sedimentary materials and contribute to the reconstruction of paleo- lake water level and paleoclimate from an isotopic enrichment model in Lake Qinghai.展开更多
AIM: To determine the changes of quantitative hepatitis B e antigen (HBeAg) that predicts early detection of non-response or breakthrough to long-term lamivudine (LAM) therapy. METHODS: Among HBeAg positive chro...AIM: To determine the changes of quantitative hepatitis B e antigen (HBeAg) that predicts early detection of non-response or breakthrough to long-term lamivudine (LAM) therapy. METHODS: Among HBeAg positive chronic hepatitis B patients who failed to achieve HBeAg seroconversion within 12 too, we retrospectively analyzed 220 patients who had received LAM more than 24 too. RESULTS: The mean duration of LAM therapy was 36 (range, 24-72) mo. HBeAg seroconversion after the first 12 mo of LAM therapy was achieved in 53 (24.1%) patients. Viral breakthrough was observed in 105 (47.7%) patients. To find out whether the changing patterns of HBeAg levels can predict the outcome of LAM therapy, we analyzed the reduction rates of HBeAg levels during LAM therapy. Using the decrease more than 90% of pretreatment HBeAg levels, the sensitivity and specificity of response were 96.2% and 70.1%, respectively. Patients were divided into 3 groups according to the reduction patterns of the decrease of quantitative HBeAg: decrescendo, decrescendo-crescendo, no change or fluctuating groups. The optimal time to predict non-response or breakthrough was the first 9 mo of therapy. At 9 mo of therapy, 49 (92.5%) of 53 patients who had achieved HBeAg seroconversion were included in the decrescendo group. On the contrary, in the no change or fluctuating group, only four (7.5%) had achieved HBeAg seroconversion. Among patients who did not show the continuous decrease of HBeAg levels at 9 too, 95.2% (negative predictive value) failed to achieve HBeAg seroconversion. CONCLUSION: Almost all patients who failed to show a continuous decrease of HBeAg levels at 9 mo of LAM therapy were non-response or breakthrough. Therefore, monitoring changes of HBeAg levels during LAM therapy in HBeAg positive chronic hepatitis B may be valuable for identifying patients who are at high risk of non-response or breakthrough.展开更多

In the supposed theory, 219 site of APOE promoter region is near gene coding region, so its polymorphism may result in the abnormality of APOE gene and protein expression, and finally lead to dementia. OBJECTIVE: To observe the association between APOE promoter-219G/T polymorphisms with serum total cholesterol in patients with Alzheimer disease, and compare it with non-dementia people. DESIGN: Case-control, comparative observation. SETTING: Department of Neurology, Fengtian Hospital of Shenyang Medical College. PARTICIPANTS: Fifty-five dementia patients including 27 males and 28 females aged (66±3) years and treated in the Department of Neurology, Fengtian Hospital were selected from January 2002 to December 2005 as the Alzheimer disease group. They all diagnosed according to the DSM-Ⅳdiagnostic criteria of Alzheimer disease instituted by American Psychiatry Association in 1994. Meanwhile, 44 none-dementia patients including 21 males and 23 females aged (66±3) years were selected from other clinical departments of Fengtian Hospital as control group. All the participants were informed the detection and agreed. METHODS: Genomic DNA was extracted from the peripheral blood of all subjects, then 'NEST'PCR, DNA sequence and enzyme digestion were adopted to detect the expression of APOE promoter-219 polymorphism, following by biomedical statistics analysis based on the clinical total cholesterol level. MAIN OUTCOME MEASURES: Polymorphism of APOE promoter-219 G/T and total cholesterol level. RESULTS: All 55 dementia patients and 44 non-dementia ones were involved in the result analysis. ①Allele and genotype frequency: The T allele frequency of the Alzheimer disease group was significantly higher than that in the control group [88.2% (97/110), 54.5% (48/88)], while G allele frequency was remarkably lower than that in the control group [11.8%(13/110), 45.5%(40/88), χ2=8.2, P < 0.01]. The TT allele frequency of the Alzheimer disease group was significantly higher than that in the control group [76% (42/55), 48% (21/44)], while GT+GG allele frequency was remarkably lower than that in the control group [24%(13/55), 52%(23/44), χ2=8.7, P < 0.01]. ②Total cholesterol level: The level of the TT genotype patients in the Alzheimer group was obviously higher than that in GT+GG genotype patients (t =2.46, P < 0.05); the cholesterol level in the two genotypes of the control group was similar (P > 0.05). CONCLUSION: TT genotype and allele T in the APOE promoter-219 polymorphisms are the sensitive gene, and genotype TT has a relationship with the increase of total cholesterol level.展开更多
The rise of tidal level in tidal reaches induced by sea-level rise has a large impact on flood control and water supply for the regions around the estuary. This paper focuses on the variations of tidal level response ...The rise of tidal level in tidal reaches induced by sea-level rise has a large impact on flood control and water supply for the regions around the estuary. This paper focuses on the variations of tidal level response along the tidal reaches in the Yangtze Estuary, as well as the impacts of upstream discharge on tidal level response, due to the sea-level rise of the East China Sea. Based on the Topex/Poseidon altimeter data obtained during the period 1993-2005, a stochastic dynamic analysis was performed and a forecast model was run to predict the sea-level rise of the East China Sea. Two- dimensional hydrodynamic numerical models downscaling from the East China Sea to estuarine areas were implemented to analyze the rise of tidal level along the tidal reaches. In response to the sea-level rise, the tidal wave characteristics change slightly in nearshore areas outside the estuaries, involving the tidal range and the duration of flood and ebb tide. The results show that the rise of tidal level in the tidal reaches due to the sea-level rise has upstream decreasing trends. The step between the stations of Zhangjiagang and Shiyiwei divides the tidal reaches into two parts, in which the tidal level response declines slightly. The rise of tidal level is 1-2.5 mm/a in the upper part, and 4-6 mm/a in the lower part. The stations of Jiangyin and Yanglin, as an example of the upper part and the lower part respectively, are extracted to analyze the impacts of upstream discharge on tidal level response to the sea-level rise. The relation between the rise of tidal level and the upstream discharge can be fitted well with a quadratic fimction in the upper part. However, the relation is too complicated to be fitted in the lower part because of the tide dominance. For comparison purposes, hourly tidal level observations at the stations of Xuliujing and Yanglin during the period 1993-2009 are adopted. In order to uniform the influence of upstream discharge on tidal level for a certain day each year, the hourly tidal level observations are corrected by the correlation between the increment of tidal level and the increment of daily mean upstream discharge. The rise of annual mean tidal level is evaluated. The resulting rise of tidal level at the stations of Xuliujing and Yanglin is 3.0 mm/a and 6.6 mm/a respectively, close to the rise of 5 mm/a according to the proposed relation between the rise of tidal level and the upstream discharge.展开更多

The time series of the SLAT from merged altimeter data (1993-2003) had a great meridional variation during the 1997-1998 E1 Nifio event. By using historical upper layer temperature data (1955-2003) for the tropical Pacific Ocean, the temperature-based SLAT is also calculated and the meridional variation can be found in the historical E1 Nifio events (1955-2003), which suggests that the meridional shifts of the sea level anomaly are also intrinsic oscillating modes of the E1 Nifio cycles like the zonal shifts.展开更多

In this work, robust synch...It is known that both excitatory and inhibitory neuronal networks can achieve robust synchronization only under certain conditions, such as long synaptic delay or low level of heterogeneity. In this work, robust synchronization can be found in an excitatory/inhibitory (E/I) neuronal network with medium synaptie delay and high level of heterogeneity, which often occurs in real neuronal networks. Two effects of post-synaptic potentials (PSP) to network synchronization are presented, and the synaptic contribution of excitatory and inhibitory neurons to robust synchronization in this E/I network is investigated. It is found that both excitatory and inhibitory neurons may contribute to robust synchronization in E/I networks, especially the excitatory PSP has a more positive effect on synchronization in E/I networks than that in excitatory networks. This may explain the strong robustness of synchronization in Eli neuronal networks.展开更多
从淘宝电商经济、乡村经济环境、电商经济支撑、电商服务保障4个维度构建指标体系,运用综合评价法、探索性空间数据分析(exploring spatial data analysis,ESDA)法,从省、市、县、乡镇4种尺度对浙江省农村电商发展水平的时空分异规律进...从淘宝电商经济、乡村经济环境、电商经济支撑、电商服务保障4个维度构建指标体系,运用综合评价法、探索性空间数据分析(exploring spatial data analysis,ESDA)法,从省、市、县、乡镇4种尺度对浙江省农村电商发展水平的时空分异规律进行探索,并运用空间回归分析法进行影响因素分析。研究表明:(1)从省域尺度看,浙江省农村电商水平处于全国第一梯队且引领示范作用明显,在时间上表现为“快-稳-快”的增长趋势。江浙沪区域,在空间上与周边沿海城市产生了“近朱者赤”的高-高集聚效果。(2)从市域尺度看,高水平区主要分布在杭州市、宁波市、嘉兴市、台州市和温州市,并在沿海地区形成正向集聚,金华市、绍兴市和湖州市集聚效应相对不高,靠近江西省的外围区城市发展水平相对较低。(3)从县域尺度看,高水平区主要分布在两处,一处是以杭州市、宁波市、义乌市为支点的中北部区域,另一处是在以温州市、台州市为支撑的东南部集聚片区。低水平区主要分布在浙西南地区并产生了低值集聚效应,形成塌陷区。(4)从乡镇尺度看,淘宝村集聚区与市域、县域尺度类似,主要分布在浙中北地区和浙东南沿海一带,内部的专业化组织、临近扩散效应明显,而在浙西、浙西南外围区发育不佳。高、较高水平淘宝村在浙北、浙中、浙东南地区分别形成了以五金电器、小家电和服装皮草业为核心的“一主两副”3个核心区。(5)从影响因素看,市、县尺度均表现为创新人才、经济支撑等指标的正向影响和工业水平的负向影响突出,县域尺度主要受工业和批发零售业共同作用,乡镇尺度下淘宝村的集聚水平与成长基础更具解释性。展开更多
[Objective] This study aimed to explore the effects of phosphorus on the contents of vitamin E in different cultivars of soybean grains and find the optimum application amount of phosphorus for different genotypes of ...[Objective] This study aimed to explore the effects of phosphorus on the contents of vitamin E in different cultivars of soybean grains and find the optimum application amount of phosphorus for different genotypes of soybean cultivars,in order to increase the contents of vitamin E in soybean grains and improve the qualities.[Method] Three soybean cultivars were selected as experimental materials,including Heinong 48(high-protein cultivar),Heinong 37(intermediate cultivar) and Heinong 44(high-oil cultivar).The soybeans were planted in pots,with 0.033 g/kg soil of N and K2O,four phosphorus treatments were set,respectively applied with 0(P1),0.033(P2),0.067(P3) and 0.100(P4) g/kg soil of P2O5,and the total contents of vitamin E in different cultivars of soybean grains were determined by high-performance liquid chromatography method.[Result] The total contents of vitamin E in the same cultivar of soybean grains in P3 treatment were significantly higher than that in the other three treatments,the total contents of vitamin E in Heinong 37,Heinong 44 and Heinong 48 in P3 treatment had increased by 11.96%,16.55% and 14.02%,compared with the control;among the three soybean cultivars in P2 treatment,the content of vitamin E in Heinong 37 was the maximum;among the 12 treatment combinations,the total contents of vitamin E in Heinong 44 in P3 treatment was the maximum.The contents of vitamin E in three soybean cultivars significantly varied among the various cultivars and different phosphorus treatments.[Conclusion] Application of phosphorus could affect the contents of vitamin E in three soybean cultivars,appropriate application amount of phosphorus is advantageous to improve the contents of vitamin E in soybean grains.展开更多

Based on the Topex/Poseidon altimeter data obtained during the period 1993-2005, a stochastic dynamic analysis was performed and a forecast model was run to predict the sea-level rise of the East China Sea. Two- dimensional hydrodynamic numerical models downscaling from the East China Sea to estuarine areas were implemented to analyze the rise of tidal level along the tidal reaches. In response to the sea-level rise, the tidal wave characteristics change slightly in nearshore areas outside the estuaries, involving the tidal range and the duration of flood and ebb tide. The results show that the rise of tidal level in the tidal reaches due to the sea-level rise has upstream decreasing trends. The step between the stations of Zhangjiagang and Shiyiwei divides the tidal reaches into two parts, in which the tidal level response declines slightly. The rise of tidal level is 1-2.5 mm/a in the upper part, and 4-6 mm/a in the lower part. The stations of Jiangyin and Yanglin, as an example of the upper part and the lower part respectively, are extracted to analyze the impacts of upstream discharge on tidal level response to the sea-level rise. The relation between the rise of tidal level and the upstream discharge can be fitted well with a quadratic fimction in the upper part. However, the relation is too complicated to be fitted in the lower part because of the tide dominance. For comparison purposes, hourly tidal level observations at the stations of Xuliujing and Yanglin during the period 1993-2009 are adopted. In order to uniform the influence of upstream discharge on tidal level for a certain day each year, the hourly tidal level observations are corrected by the correlation between the increment of tidal level and the increment of daily mean upstream discharge. The rise of annual mean tidal level is evaluated. The resulting rise of tidal level at the stations of Xuliujing and Yanglin is 3.0 mm/a and 6.6 mm/a respectively, close to the rise of 5 mm/a according to the proposed relation between the rise of tidal level and the upstream discharge.

文摘The Sea Level Anomaly-Torque (SLAT, relative to a reference location in the Pacific Ocean), which means the total torque of the gravity forces of sea waters with depths equal to the Sea Level Anomaly (S/A) in the tropical Pacific Ocean, is defined in this study. The time series of the SLAT from merged altimeter data (1993-2003) had a great meridional variation during the 1997-1998 E1 Nifio event. By using historical upper layer temperature data (1955-2003) for the tropical Pacific Ocean, the temperature-based SLAT is also calculated and the meridional variation can be found in the historical E1 Nifio events (1955-2003), which suggests that the meridional shifts of the sea level anomaly are also intrinsic oscillating modes of the E1 Nifio cycles like the zonal shifts.

文摘It is known that both excitatory and inhibitory neuronal networks can achieve robust synchronization only under certain conditions, such as long synaptic delay or low level of heterogeneity. In this work, robust synchronization can be found in an excitatory/inhibitory (E/I) neuronal network with medium synaptie delay and high level of heterogeneity, which often occurs in real neuronal networks. Two effects of post-synaptic potentials (PSP) to network synchronization are presented, and the synaptic contribution of excitatory and inhibitory neurons to robust synchronization in this E/I network is investigated. It is found that both excitatory and inhibitory neurons may contribute to robust synchronization in E/I networks, especially the excitatory PSP has a more positive effect on synchronization in E/I networks than that in excitatory networks. This may explain the strong robustness of synchronization in Eli neuronal networks.
文摘从淘宝电商经济、乡村经济环境、电商经济支撑、电商服务保障4个维度构建指标体系,运用综合评价法、探索性空间数据分析(exploring spatial data analysis,ESDA)法,从省、市、县、乡镇4种尺度对浙江省农村电商发展水平的时空分异规律进行探索,并运用空间回归分析法进行影响因素分析。研究表明:(1)从省域尺度看,浙江省农村电商水平处于全国第一梯队且引领示范作用明显,在时间上表现为“快-稳-快”的增长趋势。江浙沪区域,在空间上与周边沿海城市产生了“近朱者赤”的高-高集聚效果。(2)从市域尺度看,高水平区主要分布在杭州市、宁波市、嘉兴市、台州市和温州市,并在沿海地区形成正向集聚,金华市、绍兴市和湖州市集聚效应相对不高,靠近江西省的外围区城市发展水平相对较低。(3)从县域尺度看,高水平区主要分布在两处,一处是以杭州市、宁波市、义乌市为支点的中北部区域,另一处是在以温州市、台州市为支撑的东南部集聚片区。低水平区主要分布在浙西南地区并产生了低值集聚效应,形成塌陷区。(4)从乡镇尺度看,淘宝村集聚区与市域、县域尺度类似,主要分布在浙中北地区和浙东南沿海一带,内部的专业化组织、临近扩散效应明显,而在浙西、浙西南外围区发育不佳。高、较高水平淘宝村在浙北、浙中、浙东南地区分别形成了以五金电器、小家电和服装皮草业为核心的“一主两副”3个核心区。(5)从影响因素看,市、县尺度均表现为创新人才、经济支撑等指标的正向影响和工业水平的负向影响突出,县域尺度主要受工业和批发零售业共同作用,乡镇尺度下淘宝村的集聚水平与成长基础更具解释性。

文摘[Objective] This study aimed to explore the effects of phosphorus on the contents of vitamin E in different cultivars of soybean grains and find the optimum application amount of phosphorus for different genotypes of soybean cultivars,in order to increase the contents of vitamin E in soybean grains and improve the qualities.[Method] Three soybean cultivars were selected as experimental materials,including Heinong 48(high-protein cultivar),Heinong 37(intermediate cultivar) and Heinong 44(high-oil cultivar).The soybeans were planted in pots,with 0.033 g/kg soil of N and K2O,four phosphorus treatments were set,respectively applied with 0(P1),0.033(P2),0.067(P3) and 0.100(P4) g/kg soil of P2O5,and the total contents of vitamin E in different cultivars of soybean grains were determined by high-performance liquid chromatography method.[Result] The total contents of vitamin E in the same cultivar of soybean grains in P3 treatment were significantly higher than that in the other three treatments,the total contents of vitamin E in Heinong 37,Heinong 44 and Heinong 48 in P3 treatment had increased by 11.96%,16.55% and 14.02%,compared with the control;among the three soybean cultivars in P2 treatment,the content of vitamin E in Heinong 37 was the maximum;among the 12 treatment combinations,the total contents of vitamin E in Heinong 44 in P3 treatment was the maximum.The contents of vitamin E in three soybean cultivars significantly varied among the various cultivars and different phosphorus treatments.[Conclusion] Application of phosphorus could affect the contents of vitamin E in three soybean cultivars,appropriate application amount of phosphorus is advantageous to improve the contents of vitamin E in soybean grains.
