On Translation Courses Teaching and Learning in Blended Learning

Translation is a work requiring both independence and collaboration.Blended learning is an education mode that combines online digital media with traditional classroom methods.In adoption of this mode in translation courses teaching and learning,the researcher aims at improving the teaching outcomes and enhancing the students’learning participation as well as sense of translation and further positively changing their learning behaviors.

A Comparative Study of Translation Course Teaching Mode of English Teacher and Chinese Teacher from the Perspective of Interactive Teaching Theory

The paper discusses a field study of different features of the teaching modes of English teacher and Chinese teacher from the perspective of interactive teaching theory.With survey of the translation course reform experimented in Chinese students classroom,the positive exposure of a foreign teacher combined with the work of a Chinese teacher's help in classroom are inspiring for further remolding of a better teaching mode tailored to some special group of Chinese students aiming for study abroad later.The newly teaching mode developed above would serve as a reference for the teaching field.

Design and Practice of New Teaching Mode of English Economy and Trade Translation Course

The uncertainty of the teaching content and teaching methods of English economy and trade translation course has alwaysbeen the core problem that restricts the development of the course education.This paper proposes the design method and practiceprocess of the new teaching mode of English economy and trade translation course.Firstly,using marketing theory and economicand trade ideas,the content of English economy and trade translation course will be revised to construct a reasonable teaching con-tent system;Then,based on the above teaching content,the constructive theory is used as the guiding ideology to propose the class-room situational teaching mode and the extracurricular situational teaching mode,and complete the overall construction of the newteaching mode of English economy and trade translation course.The practical results show that the new teaching mode has obviousadvantages and has practical promotion value.

The PAD Class Teaching of Business English Translation

The author is constantly thinking of a problem that what kind of teaching method of Business English translation teaching should take in the course of teaching.In this paper,a new kind of teaching mode"PAD class"has been applied to explore the teaching of business English translation course,and to analyse the effect of classroom teaching.

Video Game Title Translation Functional Translation Theory Perspective

The video game plays an important role in inter-cultural communication studies. However, few have ventured the field of E-C translation of video game titles. Within the frame of Skopostheorie, this paper focuses on the three translation strategies brought up by the functions and features of video game titles. When preserving the structure and meaning of the original title is possible, literal translation should be used. However, the fact that some translators ignore the context of the title causes rigid translation. Transliteration is recommended when the title is the name of a person or place because the meaning of the title is hard to be preserved by the other two strategies. Since there are cultural differences between China and western world, when literal translation and transliteration cannot present the meaning of the title, free translation should be used. Translators should bear the content and game play of the game in mind in order to free themselves from the formal equivalence for a properly translated title. Free translation does not mean translators can do the translation as whatever they want in the name of Skopos, they should avoid arbitrary translation. The aim of this paper is to help people to understand more about the E-C translation of video game title as well as the practical translation strategies and Sino-western inter-cultural communication.

A Study of English-Chinese Translation Methods for Cosmetic Advertising

Advertisement is an action or form of communication in the market whose purpose is to inform potential customers about products and services and how to obtain and use them.However,English and Chinese advertisements have different forms and characteristics due to the influence of some factors such as their distinct language and culture.This study analyzes the characteristics of advertising language based on some typical examples of cosmetic advertising at home and abroad.The findings show that four methods of English-Chinese advertising translation are commonly used namely transliteration,literal translation,free translation and supplementary translation.These findings contribute to our knowledge in cosmetic advertising translation and are of practical significance for relevant research in the future.

On the Conversion of Parts of Speech in English-Chinese Translation

Conversion refers to the transformation of parts of speech in some words while maintaining the original content unchanged in order to make the translated text sound smooth and fluent as well as more idiomatic in the target language. In E-C translation, conversion of pars of speech is one of the most important translation methods. Several different forms about conversion of parts of speech are introduced through analyzing the differences and usages between the two languages so that a better version in E-C translation can be got.

围绕“新文科”内涵,通过深入挖掘商务英语专业翻译类课程中长期存在的痛难点,从教学目标、教学内容、教学方式以及评价体系4个方面提出翻译类课程的规范化建设路径,旨在为商务英语相关专业人才培养提供启发与参考,助力培养高素质的翻译人才,推动文科类高等教育事业迈上新的台阶。

“课程思政”视角下“汉维翻译理论与实践”课程的教学探究

运用文献研究法基于“课程思政”视角梳理了“汉维翻译理论与实践”课程教学中存在的问题,认为:翻译理论教学中存在本土理论教学薄弱、不够重视翻译史教学、对各种译论溯源不足等问题;翻译实践教学中存在教学方法单一、翻译实践材料选取随意等问题。在此基础上,针对性提出了策略:翻译理论教学方面要加强本土理论教学,加强翻译史教学,对各种译论进行隐喻和溯源;翻译实践教学方面要注重教学方法多样化、优化翻译实践材料选择,以实现“汉维翻译理论与实践”课程的专业能力和“课程思政润物细无声”的效果双收的教学目的。

“讲好中国故事”背景下外宣翻译人才培养途径

“讲好中国故事,传播好中国声音”,需要大量的优秀外宣翻译人才。培养外宣翻译人才,要有顶层设计,对学科和专业重新定位,把外宣翻译人才培养纳入培养方案中,课程设置要交叉融合。在外宣翻译课程教学中,要通过课程思政培养学生敏锐的政治意识和正确的价值导向,精选课程教学内容,通过案例教学凸显外宣翻译融通策略知识,通过翻译工作坊提升学生翻译能力。

关于国家翻译实践研究的几点思考

近十年来,围绕“国家翻译实践”这一中国本土原创性译学概念的研究成果,在国内产生了重要反响,开始引起国外学者关注。国家翻译实践研究历经概念化、理论化两个发展阶段,步入学科化发展轨道,有望促进译学知识生产和话语创新,为翻译学中国学派的构建与发展做出贡献。站在学科化发展新起点上,本文在回望国家翻译实践研究演进历程基础上,进一步思考其学科归属,辨正相关概念,展望发展趋势,指出以“融西立中”为指针的中国翻译理论发展路径。

泛在学习视阈下碎片化学习面临的挑战及对策

“课程思政”为翻译专业课程建设提供了价值判断的标准,为翻译专业人才培养指明了方向。民族院校翻译课程建设要将立德树人根本任务落实到知识、能力以及素质培养的各个环节;以知识传授与价值引领为主线,以课堂教学为主渠道,将课程思政有机融入课程教学,结合时代特征和地方民族特色不断扩充思政教学内容,拓展思政教育空间,结合少数民族学生文化心理特征,整合多种教学方法,强化课程思政育人实效。

转化医学视域下基于成果导向的药学创新人才培养模式研究——以药理学课程教学为例

社会的发展和民众对医疗健康需求的不断提高带来了对药学专业人才的持续增长需求,同时对他们的专业素质要求也与日俱增。虽然我国的药学人才培养模式一直在摸索改进,但是依然存在培养方面机制还不够健全、评价体系不完善等多方面不足,无法满足社会对药学人才的需求。该文依托药理学课程教学过程各环节,分析药学人才培养模式中存在的主要不足,从转化医学和成果导向教育(OBE)的角度对创新型药学人才的培养模式进行研究。在OBE导向下,该文提出从教学内容、教学策略、教学环节等实施环节反向整体设计以及持续性教学评价等方面进行培养模式构建的探索,以期不断完善药理学课程教学体系,构建创新药学人才培养模式,从而对未来的药学人才培养产生积极影响,并为满足社会对创新药学人才的需求作出贡献。

高职英语专业课程思政“三层六面”模式构建与实践路径——基于旅游英语翻译课程的探索

课程思政是高校落实“立德树人”的根本举措。在教育部颁布的《高等学校课程思政建设指导纲要》的指引下,高职英语专业课程思政首先须从家国情怀、国际视野、讲好中国故事、翻译家精神和翻译职业素养等四个方面,深入探寻其价值内涵;以旅游英语翻译课程为载体,尝试构建“三层六面”模式;并从“三位一体”育人目标重构、“六面”课程内容重组、“三层”教学路径重塑、课程考核方式重置、线上慕课资源重建等方面探索其实践路径。

针对国内英语本科高年级学生理论和研究方法的训练比较薄弱的现象,依据教育部高等教育司提出的英语专业学生应具备“一定的研究能力”,翻译专业学生要具备一定的“翻译研究能力”的要求,基于内容语言融合教学理念,对学生研究能力培养的教学模式和方法进行探讨和实践。通过布置课题研究任务的形式,将跨学科知识与翻译课程内容相融合,培养学生的研究能力,以期为将来的研究和个人的发展打下坚实的基础。
