The Early effect of the SOI SiGe HBT is analysed considering vertical and horizontal collector depletion, which is different from that of a bulk counterpart. A new compact formula of the Early voltage is presented and validated by an ISE TCAD simulation. The Early voltage shows a kink with the increase of the reverse base-collector bias. Large differences are observed between SOI devices and their bulk counterparts. The presented Early effect model can be employed for a fast evaluation of the Early voltage and is useful to the design, the simulation and the fabrication of high performance SOI SiCe devices and circuits.展开更多

Methods 31 patients with severe COPD underwent LVRS, bilateral LVRS in 11 patients and unilateral in 20 patients. The results of lung function (FEV1, RV, TLC), arterial blood gas analysis (PAO2, PACO2 ) and color Doppler echocardiography (CD,CI,FS,EF,PAP) were analyzed before and 3 month after LVRS in 26 cases. Background Adult Fulminant myocarditis(FM)is the more serious form of acute myocarditis,and extracorporeal membrane oxygenation(ECMO)is an effective adjunction that helps to maintain circulation while providing adequa...Background Adult Fulminant myocarditis(FM)is the more serious form of acute myocarditis,and extracorporeal membrane oxygenation(ECMO)is an effective adjunction that helps to maintain circulation while providing adequate treatment.The blood supply of vital organs is guaranteed,which helps patients to survive the acute attack and improves the survival rate of FM.Methods In this study,50 clinical data of adult FM patients received in our hospital from July 2018 to July 2023 were collected for retrospective analysis.According to different treatment methods,they were divided into ECMO group(n=25)and non-ECMO group(n=25).After 14 days of treatment,the level of left ventricular ejection fraction(LVEF),left ventricular end-diastolic diameter(LVEDD),left ventricular end-systolic diameter(LVESD),creatine kinase isoenzymes(CK-MB),cardiac troponinⅠ(cTnⅠ)and brain natriuretic peptide(BNP),and the incidence of complications were compared between the two groups.Results Before treatment,there was no significant difference in cardiac function between the two groups(P>0.05).After 14 days of treatment,ECMO group showed greater decline than non-ECMO group in LVESD and LVEDD,and LVEF was higher than that in the non-ECMO group(P<0.05).The level of CK-MB,cTnⅠ and BNP in ECMO group were lower than those in non-ECMO(P<0.05).The overall incidence of complications was 8% in the ECMO group,which was lower than 32% in the non-ECMO group(P<0.05).Conclusions The early efficacy of ECMO treatment in adult patients with FM is considerable,which is conducive to improving the cardiac function of patients and preventing complications.展开更多

A previous 24-week, placebo-controlled study demonstrated that a solution containing propylene glycol, urea and lactic acid (K101) was well-tolerated and effective in the treatment of onychomycosis. Patients who received K101 judged that their condition had improved from Week 2 of treatment onwards. The aim of the current study was to further evaluate and document early visible effects on nail appearance after application of topical K101 in an 8-week baseline-controlled study in 75 patients. Patients graded the appearance of their nail compared with baseline using a four-point scale. Compared with baseline, 91.8% (67/73;95% confidence interval (CI): 83.0%, 96.9%) of the patients experienced at least some improvement in their target nail after 8 weeks of treatment. At Week 2, the proportion showing some improvement was 76.7% (56/73;95% CI: 65.4%, 85.8%) with this number increasing to 87.7% (64/73;95% CI: 77.9%, 94.2%) at Week 4. Proportions of patients reporting less thickened, less discoloured, less brittle and softer nails increased over the course of the study. No safety issues were identified. In conclusion, K101 provided early visible improvements in nails affected by onychomycosis.展开更多

Therefore, the capabilities of F-18-Fluorodesoxyglucose-PET in comparison to histomor...Introduction: For clinical assessment of neoadjuvant radiochemotherapy of esophageal cancer reliable in-vivo methods are necessary. Therefore, the capabilities of F-18-Fluorodesoxyglucose-PET in comparison to histomorphological grading of tumor regression were studied. Methods: In 33 patients with locally advanced esophageal carcinoma (uT3, uN0-1, cM0) F-18-FDG-PET was performed before and 2 weeks after radiochemotherapy. All tumors were resected by transthoracic en-bloc esophagectomy 3–4 weeks after induction therapy. A subgroup of 11 patients underwent weekly PET scan during neoadjuvant therapy. PET was performed in a dedicated scanner 1.3 h after administration of 370 MBq F-18-FDG. Data analysis based on maximum SUV data derived from individual regions of interest in pre- and posttherapeutic images. PET data were compared to histomorphological grading parameters for tumor regression whithin the resected tissues. Results: The comparison of histopathological tumor regression after neoadjuvant therapy and PET SUV di?erences showed a signi?cant χ2 P -value of 0.006. There was a signi?cant decrease 五笔字型计算机汉字输入技术 of the SUV data from 9.1±3.5 to 4.3±1.9 (P <0.0001). In therapy responders SUV was diminished by 59 % and in non-responders by 34 %. Conclusion: The recent data of the FDG-PET follow-up after neoadjuvant therapy show that PET is able to predict therapy response. The objective of this study was to investigate whet...Background Patients with cardiovascular disease(CVD) have a reduced quality of life(QOL) partly due to their limited range of physical activity and independence. The objective of this study was to investigate whether the nurse based early cardiac rehabilitation will be improved QOL in elderly patients with CVD after8-week treatment from baseline and post intervention, compared with conventional care. Methods Sixty-six elderly patients with CVD were randomly assigned(using the coin tossing method) to either the ‘early cardiac rehabilitation' group(i.e. the experimental group), and the control group(i.e. routine care group) for 8weeks between June 2013 and June 2014, with 33 participants in each group. The control group received routine CVD care, and the experiment group received early rehabilitation care in addition to routine CVD care.The outcome measures included the Short Form-36 Health Survey(SF-36), and Self-rating Anxiety Scale(SAS). Results There were non-significant differences between the groups at baseline in age, sex, duration of the disease, length of hospitalization, total number of comorbid conditions, and total number of medications(P 〉 0.05). Following 8-week treatment, all groups improved their QOL scores and SAS anxiety scores(P 〈 0.05). In addition, the nursing based on early cardiac rehabilitation group was significantly improved in QOL and SAS anxiety scores(P 〈 0.05), when compared with the control group. Conclusions This study has demonstrated that the nurse based early cardiac rehabilitation is effective in increasing selected aspects of a general QOL and improved the anxiety situation in elderly patients with CVD.
