The experimental results show that there is a significantly wavelength-dependent. The effects of ashing temperature, heating mode, atomization temperature, recording time and matrix modifiers affecting the non-specific absorption of Lu and Yb matrices were discussed.展开更多

As REE contentsof vegetables for A region are different from B region, it suggeststhat there are a lot of factors controlling REE distribution betweenvegetables. Comparing with thenormal region, soluble RE contentsin water of the RE-rich backgroundregions are factors of 68 and 18than that of the normal region.REE contents of the most plantsand crops in A and B regions arehigher than that in the normal region. It is clear that REE are theindispensable elements of plantsduring their growing period. Asthere are unusually higher REEcontents of some plants in A and Bthan in the normal regions, it isconsidered to result from absorbingREE passively during the period ofplants and crops growing up.展开更多

The experiments demonstrated that the background absorption of Tm matrices is obviously wavelength dependent. The background absorption of TmCl 3 is larger than that of Tm(NO 3) 3, especially in short wavelength region. The background absorption of TmCl 3 is decreased significantly as the ashing temperature increases and that of Tm matrices is eliminated completely at about 1900 ℃. The time distribution of background signal is related to the atomization temperature and the heating mode of atomization HNO 3 can be used to reduce the background absorption of TmCl 3 matrix.展开更多
