Data loss or distortion causes adverse effects on the accuracy and stability of the thunderstorm point charge localization.To solve this problem,we propose a data complementary method based on the atmospheric electric field apparatus array group.The electric field component measurement model of the atmospheric electric field apparatus is established,and the orientation parameters of the thunderstorm point charge are defined.Based on the mirror method,the thunderstorm point charge coordinates are obtained by using the potential distribution formulas.To test the validity of the basic algorithm,the electric field component measurement error and the localization accuracy are studied.Besides the azimuth angle and the elevation angle,the localization parameters also include the distance from the apparatus to the thunderstorm cloud.Based on a primary electric field apparatus,we establish the array group of apparatuses.Based on this,the data measured by each apparatus is complementarily processed to regain the thunderstorm point charge position.The results show that,compared with the radar map data,this method can accurately reflect the location of the thunderstorm point charge,and has a better localization effect.Additionally,several observation results during thunderstorm weather have been presented. 展开更多

In order to testify and examine the ability and correctness of an expert system for diagnosing the faults in the electrical power system of a certain kind of satellite, the authors have developed a simulated testbed according to the operational principle of the electrical power system. This paper takes the solar battery array as an instance to introduce the designing principle of its hardware circuits, and presents the methods to design the interface and the software program of the single-chip microprocessor system. The software scheme of the upper computer is introduced at the end of this paper. It has been proved that this simulated system could effectively achieve the complete functions coupled with the simple design by using of various mature techniques in the fields of electronic circuits, single-chip microprocessor and numerical emulation. 展开更多

Low-voltage electrical apparatuses(LVEAs)have many workpieces and intricate geometric structures,and the assembly process is rigid and labor-intensive,and has little balance.The assembly process cannot readily adapt to changes in assembly situations.To address these issues,a collaborative assembly is proposed.Based on the requirements of collaborative assembly,a colored Petri net(CPN)model is proposed to analyze the performance of the interaction and self-government of robots in collaborative assembly.Also,an artificial potential field based planning algorithm(AFPA)is presented to realize the assembly planning and dynamic interaction of robots in the collaborative assembly of LVEAs.Then an adaptive quantum genetic algorithm(AQGA)is developed to optimize the assembly process.Lastly,taking a two-pole circuit-breaker controller with leakage protection(TPCLP)as an assembly instance,comparative results show that the collaborative assembly is cost-effective and flexible in LVEA assembly.The distribution of resources can also be optimized in the assembly.The assembly robots can interact dynamically with each other to accommodate changes that may occur in the LVEA assembly. 展开更多

This paper presents a novel transformer magnetic biasing control method for high-power high-performance AC power supplies. Serious consequences due to magnetic biasing and several methods to overcome magnetic biasing are first discussed. The causes of the transformer magnetic biasing are then analyzed in detail. The proposed method is based on a high-pass filter inserted in the forward path and the feedforward control. Without testing magnetic biasing of transformer, this method can eliminate magnetic biasing of transformer completely in real-time waveform feedback control systems though the zero error of the Hall effect sensors varies with time and temperature. The method has already been employed in a 90KVA AC power supply. It is shown that it offers improved performance over existing ones. In this method, no sensors are used such that the zero error of the Hall effect sensors has not any influence on the system. It is simple to design and implement. Furthermore, the method is suitable for various power applications. 展开更多

Robust Parameter Design(RPD) has been widely applied for improving quality and reliability of products.One of the key drawbacks of applying RPD using Taguchi method is that the stable factors may not be independent of the adjustment factors, resulting in unsatisfactory design.Moreover, the Taguchi method cannot guarantee global optimality since the levels set in the experiment are usually discrete to ensure orthogonal design.In this paper, robust solutions of the stable factors are obtained via a nonlinear model based on polynomial fitting;while the adjustment factors are obtained via interactions analysis so that they are independent of the stable factors.In particular, the values of the adjustment factors are determined by output offset compensation so as to achieve robustness of the design scheme.An example on the design of an aeronautical electrical apparatus is presented to illustrate the procedure.The results show that the proposed method can take full advantage of the nonlinearity in the response and achieve the desired outcome. 展开更多

The Brownian motion of a polystyrene bead trapped in a time-sharing optical tweezers (TSOT) is numerically simulated by adopting Monte-Carlo technique. By analyzing the Brownian motion signal, the effective stiffness of a TSOT is acquired at different switching frequencies. Simulation results confirm that for a specific laser power and duty ratio, the effective stiffness varies with the frequency at low frequency range, while at high frequency range it keeps constant. Our results reveal that the switching frequency can be used to control the stability of time-sharing optical tweezers in a range. 展开更多
