This paper takes the solar battery array as an instance to introduce the designing principle of its hardware circuits, and presents the methods to design the interface and the software program of the single-chip microprocessor system. The software scheme of the upper computer is introduced at the end of this paper. It has been proved that this simulated system could effectively achieve the complete functions coupled with the simple design by using of various mature techniques in the fields of electronic circuits, single-chip microprocessor and numerical emulation.展开更多
Region partition(RP) is the key technique to the finite element parallel computing(FEPC),and its performance has a decisive influence on the entire process of analysis and computation.The performance evaluation index ...Region partition(RP) is the key technique to the finite element parallel computing(FEPC),and its performance has a decisive influence on the entire process of analysis and computation.The performance evaluation index of RP method for the three-dimensional finite element model(FEM) has been given.By taking the electric field of aluminum reduction cell(ARC) as the research object,the performance of two classical RP methods,which are Al-NASRA and NGUYEN partition(ANP) algorithm and the multi-level partition(MLP) method,has been analyzed and compared.The comparison results indicate a sound performance of ANP algorithm,but to large-scale models,the computing time of ANP algorithm increases notably.This is because the ANP algorithm determines only one node based on the minimum weight and just adds the elements connected to the node into the sub-region during each iteration.To obtain the satisfied speed and the precision,an improved dynamic self-adaptive ANP(DSA-ANP) algorithm has been proposed.With consideration of model scale,complexity and sub-RP stage,the improved algorithm adaptively determines the number of nodes and selects those nodes with small enough weight,and then dynamically adds these connected elements.The proposed algorithm has been applied to the finite element analysis(FEA) of the electric field simulation of ARC.Compared with the traditional ANP algorithm,the computational efficiency of the proposed algorithm has been shortened approximately from 260 s to 13 s.This proves the superiority of the improved algorithm on computing time performance.展开更多

In this paper, a hybrid parallel algorithm is proposed for the real-time electromagnetic transient simulation (EMTS) of integrated power systems containing multiphase machines. The proposed algorithm is com- posed of a novel network partition method called component level parallelization and the Multi-Area Thevenin Equivalent (MATE) method, which extends the flexibility of the network partition in parallel simulation. Moreover, several methods are developed to enhance the efficiency of the communication and computation. Power systems with up to 410 single-phase elec- trical nodes and 336 switches are simulated in a time step of 50 ~ts to validate the proposed algorithm.展开更多
Due to the risk of thermal runaway in the charging and discharging process of a soft packed lithium battery pack for electric vehicles,a stamping channel liquid cooling plate cooling system is designed,and then the he...Due to the risk of thermal runaway in the charging and discharging process of a soft packed lithium battery pack for electric vehicles,a stamping channel liquid cooling plate cooling system is designed,and then the heat dissipation problem of the battery pack is solved through reasonable thermal management control strategy.Using computational fluid dynamics simulation software star-CCM+,the thermal management control strategy is optimized through simulation technology,and the temperature field distribution of battery pack is obtained.Finally,an experimental platform is built,combined with experiments,the effectiveness of the thermal management control strategy of the cooling system is verified.The results show that when the battery pack is in the environment of 25℃,the maximum temperature of the cooling system can be lower than 40℃,the maximum temperature difference between all single batteries is within 5℃,and the maximum temperature difference between inlet and outlet coolant is 3℃,which can meet the heat dissipation requirements of the battery pack and prevent out of control heat generation.展开更多
With the rapid development of artificial intelligence(AI),it is foreseeable that the accuracy and efficiency of dynamic analysis for future power system will be greatly improved by the integration of dynamic simulator...With the rapid development of artificial intelligence(AI),it is foreseeable that the accuracy and efficiency of dynamic analysis for future power system will be greatly improved by the integration of dynamic simulators and AI.To explore the interaction mechanism of power system dynamic simulations and AI,a general design for AI-oriented power system dynamic simulators is proposed,which consists of a high-performance simulator with neural network supportability and flexible external and internal application programming interfaces(APIs).With the support of APIs,simulation-assisted AI and AIassisted simulation form a comprehensive interaction mechanism between power system dynamic simulations and AI.A prototype of this design is implemented and made public based on a highly efficient electromechanical simulator.Tests of this prototype are carried out in four scenarios including sample generation,AI-based stability prediction,data-driven dynamic component modeling,and AI-aided stability control,which prove the validity,flexibility,and efficiency of the design and implementation for AI-oriented power system dynamic simulators.展开更多
