Results indicate that EA has regulative action on secretion of the thyroid, adrenal cortex, sexual gland in the hypothyroid and hypoadrenocortic rats; The regulative action is related to levels of the hormones in the body. After EA, contents of hypothalamic and pituitary β-EP, and plasma cyclic nucleotides are changed with the change of the hormones, so hypothalamic and pituitary β-EP, and cyclic neucleotides may be involved in the regulation of EA on the endocrine system in hypothyroid and hypoadrenocortic rats.展开更多
