通过经济学和地震学的不同学科交叉研究,利用Elliott经济波浪理论对地震序列结构进行分析,结果表明具有非常好的适用性,不仅解决了地震序列的分类和发展规律问题,而且提出了预测震级的等面积判定法。采用Elliott波浪理论图形化分析的方...通过经济学和地震学的不同学科交叉研究,利用Elliott经济波浪理论对地震序列结构进行分析,结果表明具有非常好的适用性,不仅解决了地震序列的分类和发展规律问题,而且提出了预测震级的等面积判定法。采用Elliott波浪理论图形化分析的方法,分析大震前的地震活动性的时空变化和地震周期,把地震序列的发震模式分为渐进型和突发型2类。依据Elliott相关市场分析理论精炼出的12种牛市波浪模式,把地震序列的发震规律归类为三角形、梯形和矩形3大类(12个小类)模式。在发震模式和发震规律的基础上提出了大震震级预测的等面积判定法,同时给出了地震序列空间范围选取规则和大震发生时间预测的经验性判定法。结论认为,学科之间既有差异性,又有很强的交融性,Elliott波浪理论在地震序列结构分析中表现出很高的适用性,不仅清楚地图形化了大地震的孕震过程,且理论化了地震序列触发模式,发震规律和震级预测,这将会在未来有效地提高地震趋势预测的概率水平。Through different interdisciplinary studies in economics and seismology, use Elliott wave theory to analyze the seismic sequence structure, the results showed that the applicability is very well, not only the classification and development law of earthquake sequences are solved, but the equal area judgement method which to predict the magnitude are also put forward. By using the graphical analysis of Elliott wave theory, Analyzing the spatial and temporal variation of seismicity before large earthquakes, the earthquake sequences are divided into 2 types, the progressive type and the flash type. According to the 12 bull market wave model of relevant Elliott market analysis theory. The earthquake regularity of the earthquake sequence is classified into 3 categories (12 small classes): triangle, trapezoid and rectangle. Based on the model and law of earthquake occurrence, the equal area determination method is put forward in forecast of earthquake magnitude. At the same time, the empirical method is given to predict the spatial range of earthquake sequence and the prediction of large earthquake occurrence time. The conclusion is that there are not only differences between subjects, but also a strong blend. The postulate of the collapse of the wave-function stands between the microscopic, quantum world, and the macroscopic world. Because of this intermediate position, the collapse process cannot be examined with the form...The postulate of the collapse of the wave-function stands between the microscopic, quantum world, and the macroscopic world. Because of this intermediate position, the collapse process cannot be examined with the formalism of the quantum mechanics (QM), neither with that of classical mechanics. This fact makes some physicists propose interpretations of QM, which avoid this postulate. However, the common procedure used in that is making assumptions incompatible with the QM formalism. The present work discusses the most popular interpretations. It is shown that because of such assumptions those interpretations fail, <em>i.e.</em> predict for some experiments results which differ from the QM predictions. Despite that, special attention is called to a proposal of S. Gao, the only one which addresses and tries to solve an obvious and major contradiction. A couple of theorems are proved for showing that the collapse postulate is necessary in the QM. Although non-explainable with the quantum formalism, this postulate cannot be denied, otherwise one comes to conclusions which disagree with the QM. It is also proved here that the idea of “collapse at a distance” is problematic especially in relativistic cases, and is a misunderstanding. Namely, in an entanglement of two quantum systems, assuming that the measurement of one of the systems (accompanied by collapse of that system on one of its states) collapses the other systems, too without the second system being measured, which leads to a contradiction.展开更多

Seismic isolation is an effective strategy to mitigate the risk of seismic damage in tunnels.However,the impact of surface-reflected seismic waves on the effectiveness of tunnel isolation layers remains under explored...Seismic isolation is an effective strategy to mitigate the risk of seismic damage in tunnels.However,the impact of surface-reflected seismic waves on the effectiveness of tunnel isolation layers remains under explored.In this study,we employ the wave function expansion method to provide analytical solutions for the dynamic responses of linings in an elastic half-space and an infinite elastic space.By comparing the results of the two models,we investigate the seismic isolation effect of tunnel isolation layers induced by reflected seismic waves.Our findings reveal significant differences in the dynamic responses of the lining in the elastic half-space and the infinitely elastic space.Specifically,the dynamic stress concentration factor(DSCF)of the lining in the elastic half-space exhibits periodic fluctuations,influenced by the incident wave frequency and tunnel depth,while the DSCF in the infinitely elastic space remain stable.Overall,the seismic isolation application of the tunnel isolation layer is found to be less affected by surface-reflected seismic waves.Our results provide valuable insights for the design and assessment of the seismic isolation effect of tunnel isolation layers.展开更多
The Neogene sediments exposed in the Saurashtra region along the southwest coast India, consists of well preserved diversified coralline algae [1-5].The Subterraniphyllum thomasii Elliott, a fossil Calcareous alga has...The Neogene sediments exposed in the Saurashtra region along the southwest coast India, consists of well preserved diversified coralline algae [1-5].The Subterraniphyllum thomasii Elliott, a fossil Calcareous alga has been reported from the Dwarka Formation (Lower to Middle Miocene) from Porbandar area, Saurashtara, Indian subcontinent. This is the first report of Subterraniphyllum thomasii Elliott from Lower-Middle Miocene sediments from the Indian subcontinent;however it has been documented earlier from Late Lutetian sediments of Kuchchh Basin, India. There is a controversy regarding the generic placement of the extinct species Subterraniphyllum thomasii Elliott as distinct genus of the geniculate coralline algae or not i.e. nongeniculate coralline algae [6,7]. However, the present specimens of Subterraniphyllum thomasii Elliott exhibit pinpointing features of both geniculate and nongeniculate coralline algae. Finally on the basis of our observations, we hypothesis that Subterraniphyllum thomasii Elliott may be transitional species and evolutionary link between geniculate and nongeniculate coralline algae.展开更多
