This study analyzes the role of intraorganizational employee navigation behavior in the relationship between coaching leadership and career success.Based on the theory of social cognition and social capital,593 valid samples are collected.The hypotheses were verified by AMOS,SPSS and Process tools.The research found that coaching leadership can positively predict the career success of employees,coaching leadership and career success is partially mediated by intraorganizational employee navigation behavior.Based on the empirical research results,it is suggested that enterprises strengthen the coaching leadership training,pay attention to stimulate employees to carry out intraorganizational navigation behavior within the organization,and establish a healthy view of professional success,which provides certain theoretical and empirical support for the enterprise management practice. 展开更多

Ethics and compliance programs have a direct linkage to key tenets of employee behaviors.The employee behaviors are building blocks of the organizations’psychological environment traits.They are characterized by role identity,self-awareness,motivation,and misconduct.It is crucial to unravel the diversity of the perspectives of the programs to design an appropriate framework of the relationship between ethics and compliance and organizational psychology.According to Weinstein(2019),“Compliance is a fundamental pillar of any corporate operation and culture,and it should be based upon the principles of transparency,impartiality,responsibility,integrity,professionalism and ethics”.While“Ethics goes beyond what the law requires.It involves doing the right thing and following both the spirit and not just the letter of the law”.The founding facets of effective ethics and compliance are culture,leaders,and risks management.Policies and procedures that integrate these factors reduce the risks of non-compliance.The organization psychological environment aligns with key characteristics of the workplace such as physical setting,culture,and job characteristics.Aspects such as noise,heat,and lighting measures may considerably impact concentration,thus affecting psychological well-being.According to Ruiz-Palomino,Martínez-Cañas,and Fontrodona(2013,p.173),ethical culture directly impacts an individual’s emotional and well-being,which characterizes organizational psychology.Culture and ethics influence perceived corporate support and social exchange,which trigger ethics and compliance. 展开更多

Role of authentic leadership and personal mastery in predicting employee creative behavior:a self-determination perspective

Personality dispositions and their role in inducing employee creative behavior are well documented in the literature.However,much is unexplored about the collective and relative contribution of personality orientations and environmental factors in explaining creative behavior.This study used a framework based on selfdetermination theory(SDT)to measure the combined and relative contribution of personal mastery orientation and authentic leadership in predicting employee creative behavior as mediated by autonomous motivation.A self-reported survey was conducted among software developers working in software houses.The results of the study show that both personal mastery and authentic leadership are significant predictors of employee creative behavior.In addition,autonomous motivation significantly mediates the relationship between personal mastery,authentic leadership,and creative behavior.The findings of the study lend support to the combined effect of personality orientation and environmental factors in predicting employee creative behavior and test the SDT framework’s efficacy in predicting creative behavior. 展开更多
