This improvement overcomes the shortcoming,which traditional vent loses huge heat,and simplifies the construction of vent. Aiming at a comprehensive assessment of energy-saving retrofitting effect on existing buildings,a calculation method is developed to adjust energy-saving quantity in standard condition for comparison under the same conditions. A mathematical model,method theory and calculation steps are given. Error analysis results show that this method can be applied accurately to practical engineering projects. In a case study of energy-saving quantity assessment before and after retrofitting on a certain hospital in Shanghai,with energy simulation software TRNSYS,detailed application of this method is introduced and analyzed. The method is applied to the case of energy-saving quantity assessment to a hospital in Shanghai before and after retrofitting with the energy simulation software TRNSYS. 展开更多

Fire effects can be one of the most harmful conditions that any building may experience throughout its service life. Developing practical protection methods and concepts against potential fire disasters in buildings has been an important consideration in design of buildings in recent decades. Rapid developments in technology have heightened the demand for new and innovative fire protection systems in comparison with conventional and traditional methods. Such a need for new technologies is in particular of greater importance when it comes to existing buildings. Retrofitting an existing building for fire safety is a greater challenge compared with designing a new building using materials and components that have more desirable and superior fire rating to begin with. Furthermore, strategies to design a new building that includes state-of-the-art fire safety features are also different from solutions that may be more suitable for retrofitting an existing building. This paper presents a review of the literature concerning conventional and new or innovative retrofitting methods for fire safety of buildings. Advantages and disadvantages of different fire protection devices and methods as available and understood from the literature are mentioned. Study of fire safety systems shows that each has its drawbacks. Comparison of the results shows that disadvantages of a solitary system for retrofitting against fire can be improved by using a combination of several fire safety concepts or methods simultaneously. 展开更多

The theory of open-plan housing is able to provide a more flexible and adaptive space for the users and bring sustainable and economic benefit in the way of making full use of construction materials. Sustainable architecture design, as a method to respond the phenomenon, is able to low down the building' s energy consumption and has enormous potentials in creation of sustainable living environment and a high-quality dwelling condition. The primary aim of this research is to create a new sustainable architecture design method for occupancy by integrating openplan housing theory and application of sustainable technologies. 通过实验研究和理论分析,对燃气动力炉富氧燃烧污染物排放与燃烧特性进行研究,分析氧气体积分数对锅炉燃烧性能的影响。结果表明:当氧气体积分数为28%~30%时,炉膛温度基本与空气助燃工况相当,而炉膛的传热效率则随氧体积分数的升高而上... 通过实验研究和理论分析,对燃气动力炉富氧燃烧污染物排放与燃烧特性进行研究,分析氧气体积分数对锅炉燃烧性能的影响。结果表明:当氧气体积分数为28%~30%时,炉膛温度基本与空气助燃工况相当,而炉膛的传热效率则随氧体积分数的升高而上升。氧体积分数升高可以提升燃烧效率,降低烟气中CO的排放,同时,富氧燃烧通过屏蔽氮源及控制炉温可大幅降低NO_(x)质量浓度。在70 kW热水锅炉上测试结果表明,当燃气量为3 m^(3)·h^(-1)、富氧助燃氧气体积分数大于28%时,锅炉排烟中NOx质量浓度小于20 mg·m^(-3),CO质量浓度小于80 mg·m^(-3),排烟中CO_(2)体积分数为32%,水体积分数为63%,该烟气经脱水后,CO_(2)体积分数可达到95%以上,满足CO_(2)用于驱油的指标要求。 展开更多

As energy efficiency and indoor comfort increasingly become key standards in modern residential and office environments,research on intelligent fan speed control systems has become particularly important.This study aims to develop a temperature-feedback-based fan speed optimization strategy to achieve higher energy efficiency and user comfort.Firstly,by analyzing existing fan speed control technologies,their main limitations are identified,such as the inability to achieve smooth speed transitions.To address this issue,a BP-PID speed control algorithm is designed,which dynamically adjusts fan speed based on indoor temperature changes.Experimental validation demonstrates that the designed system can achieve smooth speed transitions compared to traditional fan systems while maintaining stable indoor temperatures.Furthermore,the real-time responsiveness of the system is crucial for enhancing user comfort.Our research not only demonstrates the feasibility of temperature-based fan speed optimization strategies in both theory and practice but also provides valuable insights for energy management in future smart home environments.Ultimately,this research outcome will facilitate the development of smart home systems and have a positive impact on environmental sustainability. 展开更多
