Problems and Countermeasures in Applying Games in Primary School English Classroom

To facilitate the effect of utilizing games in primary school English teaching,four problems in current instructional practice have been identified by reviewing related literature.They are:1)inappropriate teaching materials;2)unscientific design of game teaching procedures;3)unstructured implementation process;4)Inadequate quality of teaching staff.Then,four specific countermeasures to remedy these problems have been proposed in detail,which include selecting appropriate teaching materials,rigorously designing game teaching procedures,organizing the class actively and developing the quality of teaching staff.This analysis will enhance teachers’awareness and competence of using games in primary school English teaching.

Analysis of English Teachers＇ Professional Development in Rural Primary Schools Taking the Surrounding Areas in Linyi as an Example

This thesis tries to explore the problems of the rural English teachers＇ professional development and aims to give some hints on teachers＇ professional development and future teacher training. This thesis makes a survey to 20 rural English teachers from 10 primary schools in the surrounding areas of Linyi City. A Brief Discussion on the Application of Task-based Language Teaching to Improve the Teaching Quality of English Communication Classes in Junior High Schools

With the progress and development of society and the continuous advancement of curriculum standard reform,society has higher requirements for students’English skills.The junior high school stage is the best time to cultivate students’communication skills,however,junior high school English classes are currently still based on traditional teaching as the main teaching method,which only focuses on cultivating students’reading and writing skills,thus neglecting the training of listening and speaking skills.Despite its evident benefits,the implementation of the task-based language teaching(TBLT)method in junior high school English communication classes is not without challenges.The current state of these classes reveals a significant gap in the integration of communicative tasks into the teaching process.This gap stems from a variety of factors,including the lack of appropriate resources,insufficient teacher training,and the deeply ingrained reliance on traditional teaching methods.This study will briefly explain the definition and characteristics of the task-based language teaching method,analyze the current situation of junior high school English communication classes,the difficulties of using TBLT in junior high school English classrooms,and the application methods of task-based teaching methods.The teaching method makes up for the shortcomings of English communication classes in junior high schools and improves the quality of teaching.

An Empirical Study on Classroom Learning Anxiety of Secondary Vocational English Learners in Content-based Instruction

This research aims to study the relationship between content-based instruction and secondary vocational English learners.Two classes in one secondary vocational school were chosen as participants.The result shows that CBI teaching has a negative correlation with English learning anxiety and has an impact on alleviating students' anxiety.

English Teaching Based on Multimedia and Network

With the popularity of multimedia and network technology in the schools,English teaching,especially English teaching in rural primary schools,has witnessed great changes in recent years.This paper uses survey,from the perspective of primary schools in ChangLe’s rural area,to study the utilization situation of multimedia and network technology and the work it makes.The survey shows that the utilization situation of multimedia and network technology is negatively correlated with the age of the teacher in the rural primary schools’English teaching and it can greatly enrich teaching resources,improve teaching methods,thus,stimulate students interest in learning English.
