Research on Pathways of How Digital Transformation Affects the Business Performance of MEEC Enterprises in Chengdu

This paper aims to examine the impact of digital transformations on the business performance of the meetings,expositions,events,and conventions(MEEC)industry in Chengdu by conducting an empirical analysis of 68 MEEC enterprises in the city.The study employed the fuzzy-set qualitative comparative analysis(fsQCA)method to explore the pathways and factors involved.Drawing on the theory of synergetics,nine condition variables were carefully selected from four dimensions:digital technologies,digital strategy,digital infrastructure,and digital innovation.The findings revealed that digital transformations were an intricate systematic process,whereby a single factor alone did not serve as a necessary condition for MEEC enterprises to achieve high business performance.The analysis identified five distinct pathways that would lead to high performance,which can be categorized into three distinct models:the“organization-human resources”dominated model,the“human resources-infrastructure”driven model,and the multi-factor coordination model.The analysis also identified two pathways that would result in low performance,categorized as the“basic condition absent”model.Notably,there was substantial heterogeneity observed in the configurational pathways in terms of the magnitude of the impact of digital transformation on business performance across MEEC enterprises of different sizes.This paper suggests that the government should assume the role of a platform,providing policy and financial support to MEEC enterprises to help guide them through the process of digital transformation and that MEEC enterprises themselves should seize the opportunities arising from digital transformation to strengthen their digital infrastructure construction,human resources development,and innovation in brand building.This study presents empirical evidence that contributes to the understanding of the transformation process of MEEC enterprises within the digital economy era,as well as valuable insights into understanding the channels and internal conditions involved in digital transformations.

Research on the Impact of Digital Transformation on the Performance of Manufacturing Enterprises

To address the challenges faced by manufacturing enterprises in digital transformation,this paper analyzes the relationship between digital transformation and enterprise performance.Using panel data from domestic A-share-listed manufacturing enterprises from 2012 to 2022,two hypotheses were proposed.The analysis and verification revealed that digital transformation in manufacturing enterprises can enhance performance and reduce costs.Based on the impact of digital transformation on manufacturing enterprise performance,optimization suggestions are proposed to guide future digital transformation and performance improvement efforts in these enterprises.

Analysis of the Impact of Digital Transformation on Non-Financial Performance of Manufacturing Enterprises

As one of the important pillars of China’s national economy,the development of the manufacturing industry has attracted much attention.The manufacturing industry has become a key development area due to its high technology content,capital-intensive,knowledge-intensive,and many more characteristics.With the rapid development of big data information technology,emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence have brought a lot of convenience to people’s lives,and manufacturing enterprises have also realized the importance of reform and innovation,and have begun to carry out digital transformation.Based on the study of the motivation of digital transformation of manufacturing enterprises,this paper explores the transformation path of manufacturing enterprises to meet the needs of social development,and deeply analyzes the impact of digital transformation of manufacturing enterprises on enterprise performance,with a view to improving the unbalanced industrial structure and lagging technological development at the present stage through digital transformation.

Green transformation path of resources-based enterprises in the western region:A case study of Panjiang Group Co.,Ltd.

With the exploitation of non-renewable natural resources in the traditional resource-based enterprises,the resources-waste,environmental pollution and ecological destruction are becoming more and more serious.Under the background of ecological civilization construction,the green transformation of resource-based enterprises in the western region is extremely urgent.Through the review of related literatures,based on sustainable development theory and dynamic capability theory,the paper study the basic characteristics and difficulties of western resource-based enterprises,and analyze the ecological network and basic path of enterprise.Combined with the actual case,this study analyzes the motivation,conditions,restrictive factors and transition path of resource-based enterprises green transformation in the western regions and then puts forward countermeasures and suggestions for the realization of resource-based enterprises green transformation.

Green Transformation of Chinese Oil and Gas Enterprises in Context of the “Dual Carbon” Goals

2021 was the first year of the“14th Five-year Plan”and the year in which the“30·60 Goals”were officially implemented.In the first year of the“Dual Carbon Goals”,domestic oil and gas enterprises vigorously expanded their new energy businesses while actively developing their main businesses,bravely shouldered their responsibility for supply guarantee and comprehensively accelerated their green transformation,creating typical experience and practices.

Influence mechanism of government subsidy on the green transformation of coal company in China

The optimization of government subsidies to enhance the efficiency of coal companies’green transformation constitutes a critical component in the pursuit of global sustainability.We investigate the influence mechanism of government subsidies on the green transformation using data from the listed coal companies in China from 2007 to 2022.According to our findings and hypothesis testing,previous government subsidies did not have a significant direct impact on coal companies’green transformation.Nevertheless,government subsidies can help coal companies transition to greener practices by promoting innovative green initiatives.Furthermore,we confirmed an indirect route:that government subsidies enable the adoption of low-carbon initiatives,which in turn could facilitate the transition of coal companies towards green practices.In addition,we discovered that the coal company’s digitization will improve this indirect route.Thus,we propose increasing the effectiveness of government subsidies in facilitating coal companies’transition to green practices by focusing on technological advancements and enhancing company digitalization.

Evolutionary analysis of green credit and automobile enterprises under the mechanism of dynamic reward and punishment based on government regulation

To explore the green development of automobile enterprises and promote the achievement of the“dual carbon”target,based on the bounded rationality assumptions,this study constructed a tripartite evolutionary game model of gov-ernment,commercial banks,and automobile enterprises;introduced a dynamic reward and punishment mechanism;and analyzed the development process of the three parties’strategic behavior under the static and dynamic reward and punish-ment mechanism.Vensim PLE was used for numerical simulation analysis.Our results indicate that the system could not reach a stable state under the static reward and punishment mechanism.A dynamic reward and punishment mechanism can effectively improve the system stability and better fit real situations.Under the dynamic reward and punishment mechan-ism,an increase in the initial probabilities of the three parties can promote the system stability,and the government can im-plement effective supervision by adjusting the upper limit of the reward and punishment intensity.Finally,the implementa-tion of green credit by commercial banks plays a significant role in promoting the green development of automobile enter-prises.

Green transformation paths of resource-based cities in China from the configuration perspective

Green transformation is an unavoidable choice for resource-based cities(RBCs)that face resource depletion and environmental pollution.Existing research has focused primarily on specific RBCs,making it challenging to apply green transformation strategies universally across cities.The fuzzy set qualitative comparative analysis(fsQCA)is a combination of qualitative and quantitative analyses that can handle multiple concurrent causality problems and determine how different conditions combine into configurations and generate an outcome.Thus,to address this gap,in this study,we established a research framework for green transformation and utilized the fsQCA to examine the configurations of 113 RBCs in China.By incorporating the element of time,this study explored the dynamic evolution of solutions in 2013,2016,and 2019.The main findings indicate that individual elements do not constitute the necessary conditions for improving the green transformation efficiency(GTE),and the systematic combination of multiple conditions is an effective path for realizing the improvement of the GTE in RBCs.Green transformation paths of RBCs exhibit the same destination through different paths.Additionally,the combination of system environment elements and system structure elements is both complementary and alternative.Differences in RBCs have led to various factor combinations and development paths,but there are some similarities in the key elements of the factor combinations at different stages.Economic environment,government support,and technological innovation are key factors that universally enhance the GTE in RBCs.These insights can assist city managers in formulating policies to drive green transformation and contribute to a better theoretical understanding of green transformation paths in RBCs.

The Mediating Effect of Digital Transformation on the Link Between Executive Overconfidence and Corporate Green Innovation

Green technological innovation is crucial for the manufacturing industry’s green transformation and sustainable development.This study examines the impact of executive overconfidence on corporate green innovation,focusing on the internal drivers of corporate innovation and using a sample of Shanghai and Shenzhen A-share listed manufacturing companies from 2013 to 2020.We further examine the mediating role of digital transformation and the moderating role of external attention.The findings indicate that executive overconfidence promotes corporate green technological innovation.Overconfident executives enhance green innovation by accelerating digital transformation.Moreover,external attention from analysts and media positively moderates the relationship between executive overconfidence and corporate green innovation.Heterogeneity analysis reveals that the positive impact of executive overconfidence on green innovation is more significant in non-state-owned enterprises,high-tech firms,and enterprises with lower pollution levels.

The Pearl River(Zhujiang)Delta(PRD)has been a focal point in reform era ac ademic circles not only for its dramatic industrial growth but a lso the simultaneous agricultural development.Unlike most of existing research on the PRDeconomic development and transformation fromthe whole region level,this paper explored this question f romthe perspec-tive of a township using Beijiao in Shunde City as a case study.Unlike the c onclusions of existing studies whic h attribute the regional economic transition to the macro factors,particularly the influence of external investment,t his research re-veals that at the level of township,t he local government,the town-villa ge owned enterprises and the individ uals have been playing remarkable roles in local economic transformation.In the early stage since the economic reform,Beijiao township government,replacing the central a nd provincial governments before,b egan to manipulate the development o f town-village owned enterprises and lead the local economic transformation from agricultural to industrial dominated.As the town-village owned enterprises grew during the later years,they gra dually acted as the main dominant pla yer leading the local agricultural and industrial growth.At the same time the individuals in Beijiao were playing more in dependent role to gain their most profits.While the local government changed to be t he real manager of local economies.S o the local economic transition was not entirely externally driven.In another word,the“driven from outsidemodel can not totally explain the economic fact in this specific region.

Analysis of the Digital Transformation Development Path for Travel Enterprises

The travel industry is witnessing rapid changes due to the advent of digital technologies. Traditional travel enterprises face challenges from online travel agencies, sharing economy platforms, and new customer expectations. As a result, adapting to the digital age has become a necessity for their survival. This paper discusses the development path and related countermeasures of the digital transformation of tourism enterprises. In the literature review, the concept and significance of digitalization, industrial transformation and tourism digital transformation are analyzed. In the description of the evaluation index selection, the evaluation index of the digital development level of the tourism enterprises is determined, and the evaluation method of the entropy value method and the grey relative correlation degree analysis are introduced. Through data calculation and result analysis, the digital level and contribution of China’s tourism industry is evaluated. In the restriction analysis, the paper focuses on the constraints of online tourism, sustainable development, infrastructure, development potential and information technology level. Finally, the key measures to strengthen customer demand insight, strengthen the construction of information technology infrastructure, promote the application and innovation of new technologies, and strengthen the development of social responsibility projects are put forward in the path selection and countermeasures. This study has important guidance for promoting the digital transformation and sustainable development of tourism.

Trend of Digital Transformation Promotion Among Petroleum Enterprises

At present, the wave of digitization is sweeping the world while the rapid evolution of the consumer market,cross-border competition between digital enterprises and fierce competition among traditional enterprises are forcing various industries to speed up their digital transformation. The oil and gas industry has been the practitioner and beneficiary of the application of digital technology for decades; however, it seems to have become the "laggard" in the new wave of digitization represented by "CBIMA"(short for cloud computing, big data, the Internet of Things, mobile Internet and artificial intelligence). In the context of low and middling oil prices weakening the profitability of oil and gas companies, increasing competition for alternative energy sources and accelerating energy transformation, there is great potential for promoting the digital transformation of the oil and gas industry. Industrial transformation and green production to reduce environmental emissions: Taking cement industry as a case

Industrial transformation and green production(ITGP) is a new 10-year international research initiative proposed by the Chinese National Committee for Future Earth. It is also an important theme for adapting and responding to global environmental change. Aiming at a thorough examination of the implementation of ITGP in China, this paper presents its objectives, its three major areas, and their progress so far. It also identifies the key elements of its management and proposes new perspectives on managing green transformation. For instance, we introduce a case study on cement industry that shows the positive policy effects of reducing backward production capacity on PCDD/Fs emissions. Finally,to develop different transformation scenarios for a green future, we propose four strategies: 1) policy integration for promoting green industry, 2)system innovation and a multidisciplinary approach, 3) collaborative governance with all potential stakeholders, and 4) managing uncertainty,risks, and long-time horizons.

N Transformation of Green Manure Incorporated Directly or Returned into Soil After Feeding Pig and Its Efficiency

?15)N-labelled green manure was used to feed pigs. Its nitrogen recovery by pig body, feces and urine was23.5%, 23.8% and 28.8% respectively, totalling 76. 1%. Feces and green manure coordinated respectively withequal amount of CO(NH_2)_2-N as well as urine alone were applied as basic fertilizer in microplot experiments.The ￣(15)N recovery from feces and urine was equivalent to 2.51% and 4.82% by rice grain, and 0.98% and1.94% by straw respectively, and soil residual ￣(15)N from them took 13.3% and 4.90% of the ￣(15)N in greenmanure. After feeding pigs with green manure and returning their feces and urine into soil, the ￣(15)N recoveryby pig body and rice grain was 30.8%, and that by pig body, and rice plant as well as soil residual took 52.7%of the ￣(15)N in feed. ￣(15)N loss was 23.9% in pig feeding and 23.4% in rice planting. When green manure wasincorporated directly into soil, its ￣(15)N recovery by grain was 26.65%, that by rice plant plus soil residual was65.2%, and the loss was 34.8%.

Interpretation of Trends in Land Transformations—A Case of Green Heart Region (The Netherlands)

The sprawl-versus-containment debate relates to many different aspects of the broad concept of sustainability, and as such the answers found by research are rarely decisive, compact cities have advantages in some respects, but disadvantages in others. The present study focuses on the patterns of urbanization process in Netherlands as a whole and within the “Green Heart” in particular. The present study finds over the last decades, the Green Heart is under attack from suburbanization of larger and smaller settlements as several political concessions have been made to local development needs. The Green Heart is also affected by the construction of new roads and railway lines. This infrastructure is built for tangential transport of an increasing volume of commuters. The spatial policies for preserving green spaces suffer from a dilemma between two contradicting functions of green space in a regional context: to be a separator of urban and rural areas and to be an integrator towards the Regional City of “Green Metropolis”.

Green transformation of manufacturing industry for ecological protection in Jiangsu Province

Thus, this paper analyzes the drawbacks of the manufacturing industry in Jiangsu province. And the status of traditional manufacturing enterprises and advantages of green manufacturing are analyzed. Then, the paper proposed to explore the practice of green manufacturing mode for the ecological protection, so as to achieve the industrial transformation and upgrading of manufacturing industry in Jiangsu province.

Differentiated Paths of Regional Green Development Driven by Industrial Enterprise Innovation

A fundamental shift in the regional development pattern is crucial to achieving a comprehensive green transformation in China.Currently,innovation-driven green development is a significant strategic option for regional development.As the main body of innovation and the basic unit of regional composition,enterprises have a profound impact on the development of regional economy,society,ecology,and other aspects.However,considering China’s vast territory and significant regional differences in natural environment and industrial structure,it’s necessary to further explore the specific impact paths of regional green development driven by enterprise innovation.Therefore,taking industrial enterprises as an example,based on the panel data of 30 provinces in China from 2016 to 2020,this study verifies the impact of industrial enterprise innovation on the regional green development level by constructing a parallel multiple mediating effect model and dividing the economy into eastern,central,and western regions to discuss the specific impact paths.The results show that industrial enterprise innovation has a significant positive effect on regional green development level,via different influencing paths in each region:(1)The eastern region improves the regional green development level by narrowing the urban-rural income gap;(2)The central region improves the regional green development level by reducing resource dependence;and(3)The western region raises the regional green development level by improving the rationalization of industrial structure.
