Since, leadership style and behavior has a huge influence to the success of the entrepreneur's enterprise. One hundred and fifty (150) successful entrepreneurs was the respondent of this study and they were survey and interviewed about their actual leadership style and practices. The research design was qualitative-descriptive type of research with the use of the Multifactor Leadership Questionnaire 5X (MLQ 5X) as the survey instrument to collect data regarding leadership styles of successful entrepreneurs. An interview guide questions was likewise utilized for validating the result of the study. An in-depth semi-structured interview was also conducted to 30 entrepreneurs from the 150 respondents. Findings of the study revealed that a successful entrepreneur exhibits a noticeably higher inclination toward transformational leadership and they consistently rated themselves higher in inspirational motivation for their leadership behavior. Therefore, the emerging leadership style of successful entrepreneurs is the transformational leadership and the leadership behavior that they frequently use is the inspirational motivation. Furthermore, the aimed of this study is to explore practices of transformational leadership behavior of successful entrepreneurs from entrepreneur's perspective.展开更多

It requires a fundamental change in their mindset and organizational culture, and requires continual course corrections to the change process. This research was conducted to help the aspiring entrepreneurs to develop and improve their leadership style. The research methodology employed in this study was a quantitative technique. Questionnaires were distributed to 641 participants within construction industry in Ghana. Questionnaires retrieved for the analysis were 536. Three steps approached were used for the data analysis. These include Exploratory Factor Analysis (EFA), Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA), and Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) analysis. After conducting the EFA and CFA, SEM was also used to analyze the construct validity. The SEM analysis helps to determine four key indicator variables for the leadership and top management construct. These include Leadership/Top Management approach to employees’ management, Leadership/Top Management understanding of TQM, Leadership/Top Management empowerment of employees to resolve quality issues, and Leadership/Top Management endorsement of TQM. All the four indicator variables were found to be good of fit and closely associated with the dependent variable. The study adds to the body of knowledge by using EFA, CFA and SEM techniques to establish key leadership and top management factors affecting TQM implementation in Ghana’s construction industry. The findings in general suggested that leadership and top Management factors identified have a direct positive impact on sustaining TQM implementation in the Ghanaian construction industry. Consequently, the leadership and top management factors identified in this study can help improve TQM in the Ghanaian construction industry.展开更多

Based on the survey data of 200 enterprises in one- hour economic circle of Chongqing,this paper analyzed three dimensions of reading behavior of entrepreneurs: reading subjects,reading media,and reading environment. It analyzed the relation between these three indicators and entrepreneurial performance. It further divided entrepreneurial performance into survival performance and financial performance. The study adopted an exploratory research methodology to explore the phenomena of motives and commitment, using descriptive statistics, particularly mea, and standard deviation to present the extent of occurrences in the study subject. The study is based on a sample of 120 entrepreneurs who are owners of small restaurants in Port Harcourt, Rivers State. The results show that entrepreneurs in the hospitality industry are mostly motivated by family related factors such as family tradition, family situation, family line of business, and family prestige. Societal factors are more prominent in the list than both personal and income, financial considerations. The least considered factor that motivates a business start-up is finance or income. The results also suggest that although, entrepreneurs are highly committed to starting and growing their own businesses and are willing to do anything that will help achieve this objective including significant personal sacrifices, they are however, not willing to compromise their family lives.展开更多

Unemployment occurs because labor forces are not absorbed into employment. One way to reduce unemployment is to open their own employment or become entrepreneurs. In fact, the government of Indonesia has made some efforts to the growth of new entrepreneurs, for example, by providing funding for student entrepreneurship program to a number of universities in Indonesia. However, efforts by the government are useless if there is no intention in the individual itself, and there are five factors driving intention in entrepreneurship, which invest, creativity, market opportunity, autonomy, status. The study adds to the body of knowledge by using EFA, CFA and SEM techniques to establish key leadership and top management factors affecting TQM implementation in Ghana’s construction industry. The findings in general suggested that leadership and top Management factors identified have a direct positive impact on sustaining TQM implementation in the Ghanaian construction industry. Consequently, the leadership and top management factors identified in this study can help improve TQM in the Ghanaian construction industry.
文摘IPSAS was accepted by Jordan’s government in accordance with worldwide trends.The Jordanian Ministry of Finance launched cash-basis IPSAS in 2015 and planned to implement accrual accounting by January 1,2021.However,the commitment to change remains uneven,hindering the full shift.Moving from old accounting processes to new ones is tough.Even then,it hasn’t been implemented,creating a gap due to the difficulty in committing to new accounting standards throughout implementation due to obstacles.Thus,knowing government accountants’issues is essential to applying IPSAS in government accounting.This study examines how transformational leadership affects government accountants’commitment to IPSAS adoption in Jordan’s public sector.This study used a quantitative approach to survey Jordanian Ministry of Finance accountants.The 384-person study had a 78%response rate.Additionally,PLS-SEM was used to confirm variable relationships.Transformational leadership positively predicted IPSAS implementation,according to the study.

文摘This study used a descriptive-quantitative research method as it describes the profile of Chinese university professors in terms of age,gender,and educational background.It also described the leadership virtues in terms of prudence,fortitude,temperance,and justice;professional self-esteem in terms of career choice and adaptability,career satisfaction and values,career impact and fulfillment,and career competence and evaluation;and teaching management in terms of teaching management and evaluation,the area of teaching and research activities,and the area of collective lesson planning activities.Diversity leadership training and instructional management training are provided to meet the needs of different groups of faculty and staff of different gender,age,and education levels.Individualized professional development plans are based on the personal characteristics and needs of professors,particularly in the areas of leadership,teaching management,and career satisfaction.To address the relationship among leadership virtues,professional self-esteem,and teaching management,long-term,in-depth research is encouraged to better understand the dynamics between them.Based on the results,this paper recommends the implementation of the proposed professional development plan.
文摘At present,it is impossible to deny the existence of artificial intelligence in various areas of social life,understood as the simulation of expert human intelligence from computer processes that involve learning,reasoning,and self-correction,its benefits to the medical field,in particular,are innumerable,but their incorporation into health systems has been gradual for many reasons.According to the above,this research analyzed artificial intelligence based on resilient leadership in the health sector,for which qualitative research was carried out with a documentary-bibliographic design with printed and electronic documentary sources with theoretical contributions fromÁvila,Mayer,and Quesada[1],Morgan[2],Villa[3],and Finol[4],among others.It is highlighted that resilient leadership has become a strategic factor in all organizations,since times of uncertainty and changes lead institutions to properly manage the incorporation of technologies specifically AI,achieving in this way that the centers and professionals in the field of health assume the needs of the contexts and the innovations of the same.It is concluded that resilient leadership will allow artificial intelligence in the health sector to generate higher levels of learning and adaptability to the transformations that are necessary,whose resistance would make its application difficult and in the long run it will leave behind professionals who refuse to assume the contributions of these innovative techniques in medical practice.

文摘This paper explores entrepreneurial leadership, market orientation, and firm performance. It sorts to ascertain through the literature whether entrepreneurial leadership has an influence on market orientation decision and firm performance. The review points to the fact that entrepreneurial leadership creates visionary scenarios which they used to assemble and mobilize a “supporting cast” of participants who become committed to the vision and the discovery of strategic value creation by influencing market orientation decision and thus enhancing firm performance. The study thus developed a process model as a result of the literature reviewed. The study concludes that, entrepreneurial leadership influences the market orientation decision of a firm with the help of the “supporting cast” and this helps the firm to increase its performance.
文摘In the context of economic downward and industrial structural adjustment,cultural level of entrepreneurs exerts direct influence on entrepreneurial results,while reading behavior of entrepreneurs is closed connected with cultural level of entrepreneurs. Therefore,it is of utmost importance to analyze the relation between reading behavior and entrepreneurial performance. Based on the survey data of 200 enterprises in one- hour economic circle of Chongqing,this paper analyzed three dimensions of reading behavior of entrepreneurs: reading subjects,reading media,and reading environment. It analyzed the relation between these three indicators and entrepreneurial performance. It further divided entrepreneurial performance into survival performance and financial performance. Finally,it came up with following conclusions:( i) good reading exerts significantly positive effect on survival performance of entrepreneurial enterprises;( ii) suitable reading environment plays a positive role in financial performance of entrepreneurial enterprises.

文摘This aim of this study is to provide both theoretical and empirical insights on entrepreneurs’ motives and commitments in the hospitality and tourism industry in Nigeria, using simple descriptive statistics and complemented with interviews. The study adopted an exploratory research methodology to explore the phenomena of motives and commitment, using descriptive statistics, particularly mea, and standard deviation to present the extent of occurrences in the study subject. The study is based on a sample of 120 entrepreneurs who are owners of small restaurants in Port Harcourt, Rivers State. The results show that entrepreneurs in the hospitality industry are mostly motivated by family related factors such as family tradition, family situation, family line of business, and family prestige. Societal factors are more prominent in the list than both personal and income, financial considerations. The least considered factor that motivates a business start-up is finance or income. The results also suggest that although, entrepreneurs are highly committed to starting and growing their own businesses and are willing to do anything that will help achieve this objective including significant personal sacrifices, they are however, not willing to compromise their family lives.

One reason is that the notion of gender equality is brought into practice, therefore, starting a business is no longer for male only. Another reason is that female entrepreneurs can also improve their social status and drive the economy by starting their own enterprises. The purpose of microfinanee programs is to encourage women to start an enterprise. Moreover, women can get financial sustainability, poverty alleviation, and more female empowerment through their business. The research applies the conception of microfinance programs to discuss if 10 Hakka female entrepreneurs can achieve the effect of empowerment through the promotion of economic ability. Furthermore, the research focuses on Hakka female entrepreneurs in Miaoli area, and probes into entrepreneurial situations and difficulties in order to find out what can be empowered for expanding their business.
文摘In Indonesia, open unemployment until August 2011 was 7,700,086. Although this number has decreased compared with the number of unemployed in February 2011, which is 8,117,631, but the decline is not very significant. Unemployment occurs because labor forces are not absorbed into employment. One way to reduce unemployment is to open their own employment or become entrepreneurs. In fact, the government of Indonesia has made some efforts to the growth of new entrepreneurs, for example, by providing funding for student entrepreneurship program to a number of universities in Indonesia. However, efforts by the government are useless if there is no intention in the individual itself, and there are five factors driving intention in entrepreneurship, which invest, creativity, market opportunity, autonomy, status. Meanwhile, some researchers have conducted research about factor which driving the entrepreneurial intention. The result of that research shows that the most encouraging factor is the creativity. However, creativity must be managed properly in order to give optimal results This article wants to analyze the management of creativity among entrepreneurs in order to give optimal results. The research was conducted among young entrepreneurs, which are still a college student or had graduated from college. The total informants for this research are five informants from three private universities/colleges. This research used interview to collect data. This study attempted to process qualitative data obtained from interviews with young entrepreneurs. The result of this research is all of the respondents use some techniques to maintain and enhance creativity, such as "allow you to creative", "think out of the box", and "be persistent". From the findings of this study, it also can be seen that the young entrepreneurs are able to overcome the barriers to creativity, "believing that I am not creative'
