A New Species and Two New Record Species of the Genus Stictochironomus Kieffer(Diptera:Chironomidae) from China

A new species of Stictochironomus Kieffer, S. juncaii sp. nov. from China is described and illustrated as male imago. S. multannulatus （Tokunaga） and S. pictulus （Meigen） are recorded in China for the first time. A key to the males of Stictochironomus in China is given. All specimens are deposited in the College of Life Science, Nankai University, China （BDN）.

A New Species and Two New Records of Megaselia Rondani (Diptera: Phoridae) from China

A new Megaselia species： Megaselia angustirostris Fang ＆ Liu, sp. nov., is described and illustrated and two species of the genus, M. nigra （Meigen） and M. albicaudata （Wood）, are reported for the first time from China. The type specimens are deposited in College of Biological and Environmental Engineering, Shenyang University.

A New Record Genus Polyamia DeLong,with Two New Species (Hemiptera:Cicadellidae:Deltocephalinae) from China

In the present paper, Polyamia DeLong is firstly recorded with two new species ——Polyamia penistenuis, sp. nov. and Polyamia drepananiforma, sp. nov. from China. The type specimens are deposited in the Entomological Museum of the Northwest Sci-Tech University of Agriculture and Forestry, Yangling, Shaanxi, China.

A New Species and a New Record of Calodia (Homoptera:Cicadell idae:Coelidiinae) from China

A new species and a new record of leafhoppers from China are described and illustrated herein. These are: Calodia bifurcata sp. n. from Guizhou and Calodia bispinosa Nielson from Yunnan. They bring the total number to 58 known species in the genus now, of which 21 species are distributed over China.

A new species and a new record species in the tribe Thalassaphorurini Pomorski, 1998 (Collembola: Onychiuridae) from Northeast China

A new species, Allonychiurus songi sp. nov., and a new record species, Thalassaphorura lifouensis （Thibaud ＆ Weiner, 1997） in the tribe Thalassaphorurini, are described from Northeast China. The morphological descriptions and illustrations of the two species are provided.

Taxonomy notes on Vandeae(Orchidaceae)from China:Five new species and two new records

Five new species(Gastrochilus yei,Gastrochilus minimus,Luisia simaoensis,Taeniophyllum xizangense,Tuberolabium subulatum)and two newly recorded species(Cleisostoma tricornutum,Luisia inconspicua)of Vandeae(Orchidaceae)from China are described and illustrated.Gastrochilus yei is similar to G.affinis and G.nepalensis,but differs from them by having an epichile not lobed,the apex of the hypochile not bilobed,and a tine on the apex of the leaf.Gastrochilus minimus is similar to G.acinacifolius,but can be distinguished from the latter by having a flabellate epichile that is densely hirsute on the adaxial surface and an inconspicuous central cushion;in addition,the hypochile of G.minimus has a keel that extends to the apex of the epichile.Taeniophyllum xizangense is similar to T.stella and T.radiatum,but it is distinguished from them by having much bigger flowers,inflorescences densely covered with short-bristly hairs,papillae on the external surface of sepals,and bigger triangular-ovate viscidium.Luisia simaoensis is similar to L magniflora and L ramosii,but can be easily distinguished from them by having lateral sepals longer than dorsal sepals and petals,lip with irregular and waved margins,and lip with bilobed apex.Luisia inconspicua is moved from Gastrochilus to Luisia based on phylogenetic analyses of plastid matK sequence data.Tuberolabium subulatum is similar to T.camosum,but it can be easily distinguished from the latter by having an inflorescence much shorter than the leaves,yellow sepals and petals,and many small papillae outside the lip lobes.

A new species and new recorded species of Lumbrineridae Schmarda,1861(Annelida:Polychaeta)from China

Based on material deposited in the Marine Biological Museum of the Chinese Academy of Sciences （Qingdao）, a new species, Lurnbrineris sinensis sp. nov., as well as Augeneria albidentata （Ehlers, 1908）, which is recorded for the first time from coastal water of China, are reported in the present paper. The specimens examined were collected during 1958 to 1960 from the Yellow Sea, East China Sea and South China Sea at depths of 4 to 182 m.

One new species and two new records of free-living marine nematodes from the Huanghai Sea

One new species of free-living marine nematode of the genus Curvolaimus, Curvolaimus filiformis sp. nov. from the Huanghai Sea is described and illustrated. This new species is characterized by the buccal cavity teeth, large amphids and two ventral seta at the conical part of tail. Meanwhile, two new records of genus Halalaimus, Halalaimus longicaudatus and H. isaitshikovi are fast reported in China. Types are deposited in the College of Marine Life Sciences, Ocean University of China.

New record of the feather star Palaeocomatella hiwia(Echinodermata:Crinoidea:Comatulida)from Zhenbei Seamount in South China Sea:new insights into the taxonomic position of Palaeocomatella

One specimen belonging to the family Comatellinae was collected from the Zhenbei Seamount(332.5–478.2 m)in the South China Sea in July 2022.Based on the morphological characters,the specimen was identified as Palaeocomatella hiwia McKnight,1977.It is first recorded from China Sea and redescribed in detail.This specimen differs from the original description from New Zealand for never showing syzygy at br4+5 or br5+6 on interior and br1+2 on exterior arms.However,it is much conform to the redescription to specimens from Indonesia,with only differences in position of the second syzygy and distalmost pinnule comb.Specimen is deposited in the Institute of Oceanology,Chinese Academy of Sciences.Phylogenetic analyses based on the mitochondrial c oxidase subunit I(COI)and 16S rRNA genes indicated that P.hiwia was nested within the tribe Phanogeniini and clustered with Aphanocomaster pulcher.Furthermore,P.hiwia showed same morphological features in terms of mouth placement,comb location,and number of comb teeth rows as other genera of Phanogeniini.Therefore,we suggest that the genus Palaeocomatella should be put in the tribe Phanogeniini.

A new species of Zanclognatha Lederer and three new records of the families Erebidae and Noctuidae(Lepidoptera,Noctuoidea)from Korea,with notes on larval feeding habits

A new species of Zanclognatha Lederer,1857 of the family Erebidae,Z.querciella sp.n.,one species of Family Erebidea,Asota egens(Walker,1854)and two species of Family Noctuidae:Meganephria retinea Gyulai and Ronkay,1999 and Amphipyra subrigua Bremer and Grey,1853,are reported for the first time from Korea.In addition,larval feeding habits with their host plants for three species are newly recognized from Korea.Illustration of adults,larvae for Zanclognatha querciella and Meganephria retinea,and the genitalia of male or female for all species are provided.

New species and new records of diatoms from Xiamen Harbour

In planktonic diatom samples collected from Xiamen Harbour, Xiamen,Fujian,China from January 1983 to December 1984, two species and varieties are new to science and three species are recorded for the first time in China. New species is Tropidoneis constricta Li,Cheng et Chin sp. nov. ,new variety is Fragilaria longissima v. protenta Li,Cheng et Chin var. nov. ,new recorded species are FragUaria heidenii Ostrup.F.oceanica Cleve and Thalassiosira punctigera Hasle.

Notes on jumping spiders from Xizang:three new species and two new records in China(Araneae,Salticidae)

Three new species of jumping spiders from the Xizang region,China are described:Evarcha darthvaderi Yu&Zhang,sp.nov.(♂♀),Orcevia qogyigyacani Yu&Zhang,sp.nov.(♀),Synagelides yadong Ni,Yu&Zhang,sp.nov.(♀).Two species are newly recorded in China:Phlegra prasanna Caleb&Mathai,2015 and Ptocasius urbanii(Żabka,1981),and the female of P.prasanna is described for the first time.

A New Species and a Newly Recorded Species of the Genus Paratendipes Kieffer (Diptera: Chironomidae) from China

A new species of Paratendipes Kieffer, P. angustus sp. nov., is described and the male is illustrated. P. subaequalis （Malloch, 1915） is recorded in China for the first time.

Description of a new species and a newly recorded species in the genus Eukiefferiella Thienemann,1926(Diptera:Chironomidae) from China

A new species, Eukiefferiella celata sp. nov., and a newly recorded species, E. brehmi Gouin, 1943, are described and illustrated as male imagines. A new synonym is proposed： E. togaeuquinta Sasa ＆ Okazawa, 1992, syn. nov. （= E. brehmi）.

New species and record of Bactrocera Macquart(Diptera:Tephritidae) from China and Laos

A new species, Bactrocera （Zeugodacus） gansuica Chen, Han et Zhou sp. nov., is discovered from China, and B （Z.） vultus （Hardy, 1973） is recorded for the first time in Laos. These two species are here described and illustrated.

One New Oriental Species and One New Record of Neoloboptera Princis (Blattaria: Blattellidae) from China

In the present paper, Neoloboptera Princis is reviewed and one new species, Neoloboptera choui Che, sp. nov., and one new record species, N. reesei Roth, are described and illustrated. All type specimens are kept in the Insect Collection of Southwest University （SWU）.

First record of the genus Sacculogalumna Engelbrecht(Oribatida:Galumnidae) in China,with description of a new species

The genus Sacculogalumna Engelbrecht, 1973 is reported for the first time from China, a new species of this genus, S. suiyangensis sp. nov., from Kuankuoshui National Nature Reserve in Suiyang County of Guizhou Province, is described. This new species is characterized by the short interlamellar setae or absent; slightly fusiform sensillus; distinct notogastral setae; small and rounded area porosa postanalis （Ap）. A table for distinguishing the known species and new one in the genus is provided.

TWO NEW SPECIES AND TWO NEW RECORDS OF THE GENUS ETHMIA HUBNER (LEPIDOPTERA: OECOPHORIDAE) FROM CHINA

The present paper deals with two new ethmid moths from China: Ethmia damaoshanae sp.nov. and Ethmia jingdongensis sp.nov. Another two species Ethmia dodecea (Haworth) and Ethmia ultima Sattler are reported for the first time from the country. The genitalia of the new species are figured.

A New Record Genus and Species of Gracillariidae (Lepidoptera) from China

Based on 61 specimens reared from leaf-mining larvae on Carmona microphylla in Guangdong, Dialectica geometra （Meyrick, 1916）, which represents the genus Dialectica Walsingham newly recorded from China, is described and illustrated, and its DNA barcode was cloned and registered. The specimens are deposited in Hunan Agricultural University, Changsha and Zhuhai Entry-Exit Inspection and Quarantine Bureau, Zhuhai, China （ZHCIQ）.
