The Lower Mekong Basin (LMB) comprised of four downstream countries, including Thailand, Lao PDR, Cambodia, and Vietnam. The utilization of the basin’s water brings not only substantial benefits to the region ranging from hydropower to navigation, but also negative impacts caused by the unbalanced water using. The essential role of Mekong River requires all member nations to cooperate effectively for the sustainable development of the region. One of the most popular methods in the field of water resource management is a trustable tool called the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP). AHP is much appropriate for water resource policymaking. The literature, however, points out that there is no study to both structure the water using hierarchy and employ quantitative (objective) criteria to the AHP model in LMB case. With regard to water resource management, there are no previous studies applying AHP models to evaluating sustainable development of transboundary water resource in LMB case. Considering traditional DEA model has drawbacks,it introduced super efficiency DEA model to make complete identification and ordering of cooperatives. On this basis,it divided efficiency value into pure technical efficiency and scale efficiency,and classified cooperatives into 4 categories according to efficiency characteristics of non-complete effective cooperatives. The study focuses on assessing the financial management practices and accounting mechanisms in agricultural cooperatives in Tulsipur Sub-Metropolitan,Dang District,Nepal with a focus on understanding their implication...The study focuses on assessing the financial management practices and accounting mechanisms in agricultural cooperatives in Tulsipur Sub-Metropolitan,Dang District,Nepal with a focus on understanding their implications for financial performance and organizational effectiveness.The sample size of total cooperatives(n=46)was divided into Savings and Credit Cooperatives(n=18)and Multipurpose Cooperatives(n=28),respectively,with a total number of respondents(n=138)categorized into managing directors,employees,and general members.Using a mixed-methods approach that combines quantitative analysis of financial data with qualitative insights gathered through interviews and surveys,the study emphasizes the importance of modern financial practices,improved reporting mechanisms,and relevant staff training for long-term sustainability.Recommendations include the integration of criteria and evaluation tools to assess cooperative performance,with Hamro Pahunch Multipurpose Cooperative identified as a high performer.Emphasizing the need for robust financial management strategies to navigate the complexity of the agricultural sector,manage risks,and achieve sustainable development,the study notes frequent preparation of financial management reports on a monthly and annual basis,and predominantly annual accounting management.Most cooperatives are using computerized models to present financial positions,but face challenges such as lack of marketing infrastructure,cooperative skills,and technical support.Ultimately,the study advocates for educating policy makers,cooperative leaders,practitioners and stakeholders on the role of effective financial management and accounting in enhancing the resilience,expansion and socio-economic impact of agricultural cooperatives,thereby fostering their long-term prosperity and viability as drivers of rural development and empowerment.展开更多

The application of multiple UAVs in complicated tasks has been widely explored in recent years.Due to the advantages of flexibility,cheapness and consistence,the performance of heterogeneous multi-UAVs with proper coo...The application of multiple UAVs in complicated tasks has been widely explored in recent years.Due to the advantages of flexibility,cheapness and consistence,the performance of heterogeneous multi-UAVs with proper cooperative task allocation is superior to over the single UAV.Accordingly,several constraints should be satisfied to realize the efficient cooperation,such as special time-window,variant equipment,specified execution sequence.Hence,a proper task allocation in UAVs is the crucial point for the final success.The task allocation problem of the heterogeneous UAVs can be formulated as a multi-objective optimization problem coupled with the UAV dynamics.To this end,a multi-layer encoding strategy and a constraint scheduling method are designed to handle the critical logical and physical constraints.In addition,four optimization objectives:completion time,target reward,UAV damage,and total range,are introduced to evaluate various allocation plans.Subsequently,to efficiently solve the multi-objective optimization problem,an improved multi-objective quantum-behaved particle swarm optimization(IMOQPSO)algorithm is proposed.During this algorithm,a modified solution evaluation method is designed to guide algorithmic evolution;both the convergence and distribution of particles are considered comprehensively;and boundary solutions which may produce some special allocation plans are preserved.Moreover,adaptive parameter control and mixed update mechanism are also introduced in this algorithm.Finally,both the proposed model and algorithm are verified by simulation experiments.展开更多

By using fuzzy synthetic evaluation methods, functions of farmer cooperatives, which include six functions as follows: providing technology and information, marketing, processing and transportation, standardized services, and credit services and rights protection, are analyzed. The quantitative analysis is conducted on the developmental status of the functions of farmer cooperatives. The evaluation results are taken as evidence to anticipate the problems in the development of farmer cooperatives and then countermeasures are put forward, including intensifying the construction of actual functions of farmer cooperatives; contracting diversified credit and loan services; improving comprehensive strength of farmer cooperatives and taking the path of combining professional and comprehensive developmental paths. This study improves our knowledge on the development of farmer cooperatives and provides new insights to solve the problems that arise following the development.展开更多

SNR fluctuations due to wireless channel effec...A serious threat to cognitive radio networks that sense the spectrum in a cooperative manner is the transmission of false spectrum sensing data by malicious sensor nodes. SNR fluctuations due to wireless channel effects complicate handling such attackers even further. This enforces the system to acquire authentication. Actually, the decision maker needs to determine the reliability or trustworthiness of the shared data. In this paper, the evaluation process is considered as an estimation dilemma on a set of evidences obtained through sensor nodes that are coordinated in an underlying wireless sensor network. Then, a likelihood-based computational trust evaluation algorithm is proposed to determine the trustworthiness of each sensor node's data. The proposed procedure just uses the information which is obtained from the sensor nodes without any presumptions about node’s reliability. Numerical results confirm the effectiveness of the algorithm in eliminating malicious nodes or faulty nodes which are not necessarily conscious attackers.展开更多
The endoscopic submucosal dissection(ESD)technique has become the gold standard for submucosal tumors that have negligible risk of lymph node metastasis(LNM),due to its minimal invasiveness and ability to improve qual...The endoscopic submucosal dissection(ESD)technique has become the gold standard for submucosal tumors that have negligible risk of lymph node metastasis(LNM),due to its minimal invasiveness and ability to improve quality of life.However,this technique is limited in stage T1 cancers that have a low risk of LNM.Endoscopic full thickness resection can be achieved with laparoscopic endoscopic cooperative surgery(LECS),which combines laparoscopic gastric wall resection and ESD.In LECS,the surgical margins from the tumor are clearly achieved while performing organ-preserving surgery.To overcome the limitation of classical LECS,namely the opening of the gastric wall during the procedure,which increases the risk of peritoneal tumor seeding,non-exposed endoscopic wall-inversion surgery was developed.With this full-thickness resection technique,contact between the intra-abdominal space and the intragastric space was eliminated.展开更多
