Scallop culture is an important way of bottom-seeding marine ranching,which is of great significance to improve the current situation of fishery resources.However,there are some problems in site-selection evaluation o...Scallop culture is an important way of bottom-seeding marine ranching,which is of great significance to improve the current situation of fishery resources.However,there are some problems in site-selection evaluation of marine ranching,such as imperfect criteria system,complex structure,untargeted criteria quantification,etc.In addition,no site-selection evaluation method of bottom-seeding culture areas for scallops is available.Therefore,we established a hierarchy structure model according to the analytic hierarchy process(AHP)theory,in which social,physical,chemical,and biological environments are used as main criteria,and marine functional zonation,water depth,current,water temperature,salinity,substrate type,water quality,sediment quality,red tide,phytoplankton,and zooplankton are used as sub-criteria,on which a multi-parameter evaluation system is set up.Meanwhile,the dualism method,assignment method,and membership function method were used to quantify sub-criteria,and a quantitative evaluation for the entire criteria was added,including the evaluation and analysis of two types of unsuitable environmental situations.By overall consideration in scallop yield,quality,and marine ranching construction objectives,the weight of the main criteria could be determined.Five grades in the suitability corresponding to the evaluation result were divided,and the Python language was used to create an evaluation system for efficient calculation and intuitive presentation of the evaluation outcome.Eight marine cases were simulated based on existing survey data,and the results prove that the method is feasible for evaluating and analyzing the site selection of bottom-seeding culture areas for scallops under various environmental situations.The proposed evaluation method can be promoted for the site selection of bottom-seeding marine ranching.This study provided theoretical and methodological references for the site selection evaluation of other types of marine ranching.展开更多

In China, however, the selection of essential medicine and various medical insurance reimbursement schemes medicine is usually based on experts' experience of prescription practice which is under heavy critics resulting from the lack of related comparative efficacy and evidence-based research. The efficacy of Jian'ganle in prevention of drug-induced liver injury (DILI) caused by antituberculotics was evaluated in this study by comparison with Hugan Pian, glucuronolactone and reduced glutathione. Evidence was provided for relevant sectors such as Ministry for Human Resources and Social Security of the People's Republic of China and National Health and Family Planning Commission of the Peo- ple's Republic of China to select and renew the Essential Medicine List (EML), the new rural cooperative medical scheme in China (NRCMS) list or the reimbursement list of industrial injury insurance. A total of 189 patients with initial pulmonary tuberculosis were divided into four groups who took antituberculotics combined with Jian'ganle, Hugan Pian, glucuronolactone and reduced glutathione respectively. Their liver function profile including alanine aminotransferase (ALT), aspartate aminotransferase (AST), total bilirubin (TBIL), direct bilirubin (DBIL), total protein (TP), albumin (A) and globulin (G) were detected at admission as baseline and after treatment. The Jian'ganle group was compared with the three others by chi-square tests. In an aspect of maintaining bilirubin indexes normal, Jian'ganle was more efficacious than glucuronolactone. And Jian'ganle had a little more efficacy than reduced glutathione to maintain protein indexes normal as well. And the therapeutic regimen of antituberculotics combined with Jian'ganle was the best in treating tuberculosis and preventing DILI at the same time. The study showed that among the four hepatinicas which demonstrated similar prevention of DILI caused by antituberculotics, Jian'ganle has more advantages over the three others to some extent, which provides a reliable basis for health sectors to select and renew the EML, NRCMS List or the reimbursement list of industrial injury insurance.展开更多

Several decades of CM treatment results have shown that CM treatment could be helpful in improving patients' physical rehabilitation, relieving symptoms and strengthening immunity. CM also could aid in the decline of rates of recurrence and metastasis, prolong the survival time, and especially, have significant effects on relieving symptoms such as relieving fatigue, improving syndromes caused by conventional therapies (surgery, radiotherapy, chemotherapy and biological treatment), and indescribable discomforts caused by the unknown reason. It has been found in several studies that conventional medical treatment combined with CM could significantly improve QOL, and reduce treatment-related and disease-related symptoms. It is necessary for firms to tak e part in the global competition and global manufacture. There are some decision -making techniques which can be used for evaluating and selecting vendors, such as weighting point methods, utility theary, multi-objective programming, analy tic hierarchy process, vendor profile analysis, and so on. Analytic Hierarchy Pr ocess(AHP) is a technique in common use for quantifying the problem. Since AHP i s put forward in 1973 by Satty, it has been accepted. However, this technique ha s its shortcomings, and one of them is that distributing weights is subjective. In recent years,some scholars prove that it is defferent from factual doing usin g subjective ways for vendors’ evaluating and selecting. In fact, the methods f or vendors’evaluating and selecting should be given by practical circs. Today, there’s somebody who has brought forward that it is studied by deviding four ty pes of relationships in view of two major factors: the reference time horizon of the relationship; and the content of the relationship in terms of the nature of the interation between supplier and customer. The model integrates AHP and the grey system theory and attempt to eliminate the subjective factors in AHP using objective datum. Dipeptidyl peptidase 4(DPP4)is recognised as an attractive anti-diabetic drug target,and several DPP4 inhibitors are already on the market.As members of the same gene family,dipeptidyl peptidase 8(DPP8)and dipeptidyl ...Dipeptidyl peptidase 4(DPP4)is recognised as an attractive anti-diabetic drug target,and several DPP4 inhibitors are already on the market.As members of the same gene family,dipeptidyl peptidase 8(DPP8)and dipeptidyl peptidase 9(DPP9)share high sequence and structural homology as well as functional activity with DPP4.However,the inhibition of their activities was reported to cause severe toxicities.Thus,the development of DPP4 inhibitors that do not have DPP8 and DPP9 inhibitory activity is critical for safe anti-diabetic therapy.To achieve this goal,we established a selective evaluation method for DPP4 inhibitors based on recombinant human DPP8 and DPP9 proteins expressed by Rosetta cells.In this method,we used purified recombinant 120 kDa DPP8 or DPP9 protein from the Rosetta expression system.The optimum concentrations of the recombinant DPP8 and DPP9 proteins were 30 ng/mL and 20 ng/mL,respectively,and the corresponding concentrations of their substrates were both 0.2 mmol/L.This method was highly reproducible and reliable for the evaluation of the DPP8 and DPP9 selectivity for DPP4 inhibitor candidates,which would provide valuable guidance in the development of safe DPP4 inhibitors.展开更多

The state of the art in the different phases of Arabic bank check processing is surveyed (i.e., pre-processing, check analysis and segmentation, features extraction, and legal and courtesy amounts recognition). First, the texture is defined as the un-warped edge image contained in the shape rectan...This paper proposes a new algorithm, called Edge-based Texture Driven Shape Model (E-TDSM), for nonfrontal face alignment task. First, the texture is defined as the un-warped edge image contained in the shape rectangle; then, a Bayesian network is constructed to describe the relationship between the shape and texture models; finally, ExpectationMaximization (EM) approach is utilized to infer the optimal texture and position parameters from the observed shape and texture information. Compared with the traditional shape localization algorithms, E-TDSM has the following advantages: 1) the un-warped edge-based texture can better predict the shape and is more robust to the illumination and expression variation than the conventional warped gray-level based texture; 2) the presented Bayesian network indicates the logic structure of the face alignment task; and 3) the mutually enhanced shape and texture observations are integrated to infer the optimal parameters of the proposed Bayesian network using face alignment task demonstrate the effectiveness and robustness EM approach.
