Summary of Zhang Hongxing's Experience in Treating Refractory Angina Pectoris with Traditional Chinese Medicine

As a famous traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)expert in Shandong province and a famous veteran TCM expert in Dezhou city,Zhang Hongxing has been engaged in cardiovascular clinical work for more than 30 years.He has unique experience in the treatment of refractory angina pectoris.This paper comprehensively explains from the aspects of etiology and pathogenesis.His treatment is mostly based on syndrome differentiation,combined with the basic pharmacology of modem Chinese medicine to formulate prescriptions and drugs,and at the same time values the use of insect drugs.We hereby attach the clinical records,hoping to provide reference for clinical workers,which is conducive to the inheritance and development of famous Chinese medical academic experience.

Professor Liu Guobin used traditional Chinese medicine to cure a case of primary erythema limb pain

Primary erythema limb pain is a very rare disease,and its pathogenesis is not clear.Usually,the pain symptoms of patients exist for a long time,which seriously affect the daily life of patients and increase the economic burden of patients.Professor Liu Guobin,who has been engaged in the diagnosis and treatment of peripheral vascular diseases for nearly 30 years,believes that heat-toxin and blood stasis collaterals are closely related to the disease,and emphasizes the principle of heat-toxin and evil qi causing the disease.It is emphasized that clearing heat and detoxification,promoting blood circulation and dispersing blood stasis are the main treatment principles.This paper selects a typical case to describe Professor Liu's clinical experience in the treatment of primary erythema limb pain by oral and external use of traditional Chinese medicine,so as to provide an effective method of traditional Chinese medicine for the treatment of primary erythema limb pain.

Patterns of Herbal Combination for the Treatment of Insomnia Commonly Employed by Highly Experienced Chinese Medicine Physicians

Objective：To explore the most effective herbal combinations commonly used by highly experienced Chinese medicine（CM） physicians for the treatment of insomnia.Methods：We collected and analyzed data related to insomnia treatment from the clinics of 7 highly experienced CM physicians in Beijing.The sample included 162 patients and 460 consultations in total.Patient outcomes,such as sleep quality and sleep time per day,were manually collected from the medical records by trained CM clinicians.Three data mining methods,support vector machine（SVM）,logistic regression and decision tree,and multifactor dimensionality reduction（MDR）,were used to determine and confirm the herbal combinations that resulted in positive outcomes in patients suffering from insomnia.Results：Results show that MDR is the most efficient method to predict the effective herbal combinations.Using the MDR model,we identified several combinations of herbs with 100%positive outcomes,such as stir-fried spine date seed,Szechwan lovage rhizome,and prepared thinleaf milkwort root;white peony root,golden thread,and stir-fried spine date seed;and Asiatic cornelian cherry fruit with fresh rehmannia.Conclusions：Results indicate that herbal combinations are effective treatments for patients with insomnia compared with individual herbs.It is also shown that MDR is a potent data mining method to identify the herbal combination with high rates of positive outcome.

Brief Analysis of Treatment of Postpartum Body Pain by Professor Zhang Xiaofeng from the Viewpoint of “Liver Vital Deficiency and Yang Stagnation”

Postpartum body pain is a common gynecological disease in clinical setting.Its symptoms are complex and is difficult to treat.It is often treated in many ways but with poor results,which bring great pain to patients and their families.Professor Zhang Xiaofeng can effectively improve clinical treatment of this disease from the point of view of“liver vital deficiency and yang stagnation”.This paper mainly introduces the professional experience of Professor Zhang Xiaofeng in treating postpartum body pain.A clinical case was attached for reference as proof.

Experience inheritance from famous specialists based on real- world clinical research paradigm of traditional Chinese medicine

The current modes of experience inheritance from famous specialists in traditional Chinese medicine （TCM） include master and disciple, literature review, clinical-epidemiology-based clinical research observation, and analysis and data mining via computer and database technologies. Each mode has its advantages and disadvantages. However, a scientific and instructive experience inheritance mode has not been developed. The advent of the big data era as well as the formation and practice accumulation of the TCM clinical research paradigm in the real world have provided new perspectives, techniques, and methods for inheriting experience from famous TCM specialists. Through continuous exploration and practice, the research group proposes the innovation research mode based on the real-world TCM clinical research paradigm, which involves the inheritance and innovation of the existing modes. This mode is formulated in line with its own development regularity of TCM and is expected to become the main mode of experience inheritance in the clinical field.

Professor Zhang Jun's four methods for treating Children with purpuric nephritis

老年皮肤瘙痒症常发于60岁及以上人群,其病因病机较为复杂,长期发病会影响患者的睡眠质量和身心健康状态。国医名师于增瑞认为老年皮肤瘙痒症的中医基本病因病机为血虚风燥,老年人气血虚弱,血不养肤,虚风内生,风胜则痒,治疗原则宜养血祛风。于师自拟“四物三色荆防草汤”化裁自当归饮子,当归饮子最初记载于宋代严用和所著的《严氏济生方》,为血虚风燥型皮肤病的常用效方。于师临床上善用四物三色荆防草汤加减化裁治疗老年皮肤瘙痒症,诸药配伍,辨证论治,标本兼施,共奏益气养血润肤、疏风祛邪止痒之功,治疗效果显著。笔者拟从辨证思想、方药源流、组成化裁、临床验案等方面详细介绍于师治疗血虚风燥型老年皮肤瘙痒症的用药经验,为该病的中医临床用药提供新的思路与方法。

Feasibility Analysis of the Value of Q Method in the Classification and Understanding of Expert Experience

The Q method, combining qualitative and quantitative methods, refers to the qualitative analysis of Q-sorts based on quantitative techniques. It is used to research individual subjective experience, analyzing consensus and divergence to identify and categorize subjects＇ viewpoints. The sorting process is completely performed by the subjects, independent of study researchers. The Q method in medical research has been applied in many fields, including nursing care, clinical studies, doctor and patient＇s perceptions, health evaluation and decision making. The authors used the Q method to research Chinese medicine （CM） group decision making, exploring its practical feasibility in this important field. Four primary domains are addressed： （1） integration of expert opinion; （2） expert classification; （3） ascertaining the entire viewpoint orientation of a certain type of expert; and （4） comparison of expert opinion using an additional perspective. The essence of the Q method caters to the CM thinking model and should be introduced into CM and explored more deeply.
